Oh, definitely. On the other hand, they did just get done fighting a monster that was definitely also using some really nasty magic, so there would also be speculation that this is just Kai grousing about natural human limits compared to monsters. Or magical girls.

The huge stack of negative modifiers is funny, I feel like you can see Coffe stacking more and more on so that this one random high roll doesn't have Kyoko figure out we're an alien and derail the whole plot.

Kyoko doesn't know enough about human mages to figure out Zaiyu isn't a human yet, much less nail him down as an alien instead of a ghost, elemental, or something else entirely.
I think I finally doing a drawing of Shayin, he wears his hair long and braided and the colour is blue/green?

Yes. The braid is longer than he is tall, and his eyes are the same color as his hair.

I'm glad Zaiyu knows his limits, and stuck with illusions of coughing up blood rather than rely on his acting skills. He should probably join the drama club and do a research action on acting

Zaiyu isn't well-informed enough about humans to pull off a serious acting gig. He's been getting by in short encounters okay, but he needs to do a lot more studying before he can convincingly fake humanity.

Interesting to see how our poor boi started doing that after he suspected his companion was onto him… heh. Hand in the cookie jar syndrome I guess.

I choose this to be my headcanon for the most predominant headcanon. People correctly identify Kai as a general, but conclude that he, and the threat in general, is/are werewolves.

Looks great! Though he seems a lot calmer than usual. Maybe this is what he's like when Zaiyu isn't around, Mitl isn't blowing things up, and Rins is at the weapons range?
