do we know what the final test is or nah?

Given what is in the offering there is a strong suspicion that it's 'go steal from the Emperor', specifically his gene lab. This could even be an attempt to make us the force that scatters the Primarchs. In canon Word Bearers go back in time once they are Fallen, but that obviously will not happen this way here, Lorgar killed Kor Pheron.

Hm, @Yzarc, could Fan Morgal grant Lorgar a wish for all the psychic disciplines to become innate and second nature to him?
He can grant 5 dots but internalize good them? No as that is more a personal development.

Wishes can grant you stuff any one can get but not unique stuff.

That said, Lorgar can develop it later once he raises to lvl 5.

Ohh the plot thickens , If I am not mistaken the sequence of events that lead to the scattering is like this, first Erda's the Primarch's mother decided the emperor's plan to make said children into his generals/weapons is bad and decides to rescue them her first step is to bring down the wards around the emperor's lab so as to access said gestating primarchs but then chaos makes their move and take advantage of the downed wards to send a warband of chaos corrupted Word Barers back in time to rampage in the emperor's lab resulting in the scattering before Erda can mount step two of her rescue (I am basing this of 3rd and 4th hand knowledge and accounts of the lore if someone has a better more clear understanding of what happened please correct me), now with Lorgar not falling to chaos ,the chaos gods are stumped on who is goanna get sent back in time to do the deed without which they will likely suffer the consequence of a time paradox disrupting whatever fate binding bullshit they set up to corrupt the primarchs since the scattering happened and time won't unhappen it even if no one goes back in time to do it which means the fate of the primarchs set by the scattering is no longer set in stone as now no one can take responsibility for the scattering and by extension power over it except maybe Erda

The stable time loop has already happened/will happen. If not Word Bearers, someone else will have to fulfill/ has already fulfilled the role in order to complete the loop.

[X] Do not take the final test.

That isn't Kairos Fateweaver. As stated, Kairos has to always contradict himself because its his nature. He is incapable of being this coherent.

It might be the Ebon Dragon, in which case, we ought not to fall for his schemes. He is, conceptually, completely untrustworthy.

Literally, as his domains are deceit and trickery. . .

There is a different between seeking power from the Warp and from Chaos.

Are we meta gaming? How would Lorgar know how Kairos normally acts?

The problem with offering knowledge as a reward is that knowledge can be learned. Lorgar and the MC are perfectly capable of figuring out how to make proper space marines by themselves.

Ok here is a thought, what if chaos knows we would deny the final test and as chaos always seeks to win the trap is in there... the final test of the quest was not finished because we highjacked it to open demon lorgars mind like a book for us read... Am I to paranoid?
