A note on Omake Bonuses
I am currently deciding on Omake bonuses, which I hope will be quite fitting and encouraging toward participation.

Thus far my idea is that Omake writers -who have put in effort and heart enough to earn a threadmark- can put in an unoffical vote or collective request (i.e. if enough people submit a similar enough idea, I'll meld them all) for a small positive change or guarantee for the Event incoming.

Here, for example, Rufus surviving will guarantee that Klaus will remain an adventurer when he is retrieved.

With 6 hours left, I urge everyone to please vote for Plan For the Love of Money. We're losing WAY more money than we're making and hiring two mercenary companies - like the other two plans are doing - will be really bad for our finances. We need to cut back on the amount of mercenaries we're hiring.

Sidestory: Adventurer Missing!
"I can't see a bedamned thing, Klaus, it's dark as pitch and there's not even a bright moon to see by... We should just turn back." A noble voice hissed.

"Rufus's nose never lies, there's some sort of path hidden in these rocks... C'mon boy, sniff it out!" A far more common drawl barked back.

Of the three adventurers making their way along a broken rockface Bullo was the silent one as he gnawed on a sausage patty, his great billy-ram 'Hammerhorn' snorting and sniffing almost like the leading Rufus. Klaus was always but a step behind the ratter as it wove through the undergrowth with snout snuffling, leading them to a promised crack in the rock from which Klaus swore he'd felt a sea-breeze and heard the chatter of faint voices. The journey to here from the colony had taken the better of two days, so Bullo certainly hoped it was bedamned worth it.

Arda brought up the middle with her long fine-leather boots and styled adventuring gear, the wizard glowering while still expertly stepping over roots and pointing out hazards in a clipped tone.

Then, paydirt. A hush of surf-sound emanated from a cleverly disguised crevasse in the rockface, a tunnel of dark stone resembling a natural fissure but for the faint hint of boot prints in the mud, leading under the rocks and north-north east beneath the creeping jungle's rocky cliff. A cove in an overhang, it seemed. Klaus almost immediately began to step into the pitch-dark tunnel, his night-eyes in the dim starlight easily showing the way, before Arda grasped his shoulder and hissed furiously.
"Where are you going?!"

Klaus seemed confused by the concept of her question "To... Investigate the hole?"

Arda stared back as if she were trying to bore through the man's skull with a drill, her mouth flat before she snapped "no! No, we are not traipsing into an unknown hole, with potential foes inside, days away from the colony. I am tired, Bullo is almost out of food, and we are going back! Governor Flynn can issue us an actual Bounty for this fucking hole, and we'll come back to investigate during the day, with a full party."

Klaus argued his point with simple clear logic and a face hewn from stubborn altdorfian rock "The rats will scarper if'n we give them time to scurry. Best to scout now, all quiet, so's we know what we're handling."

Bullo weighed in after swallowing "He's got a point... Why not at least peep, all quiet like with just the two of you? I'll hold out here for a shout or a signal if'n you need help."

Arda stared between both halfling and man as if they were both equally insane before sighing in concession, twirling a hand toward the hole while drawing a sling out and loading a hard lead bullet.

Klaus led the way eagerly from there with Rufus in 'hide' mode and Arda cautiously fox-stepping behind down the pitch-dark crevice, Klaus holding a spear ready with its tip daubed in matte dark colours. The crevice's tunnel wended and wound under the cliff deep, curling almost all the way back inward before spiralling down to a hidden cove beneath the jungle and rocks, almost a sea-cave fed by a shaded inlet.

Klaus paused at the place where the tunnel opened out into the cove walls to observe the people within, a gang of slouch-backed figures unloading crates from a twin masted sloop onto a barrel-pontoon dock; as others clumsily set up shacks or unloaded a very few armoured iron chests onto the sandy cove beach. All lit by lanterns tied to staked poles.

The journeyman wizard-woman saw nothing but trouble from doing more than observing and noting this clear smuggler's cove, yet Klaus needed more, his eyes glinting in want as one of the armoured chests got opened to reveal its small space filled by jewel glints and gold glitter. Arda couldn't risk shouting and so she merely bit her bottom lip as Klaus slipped down the steps toward a lone iron chest laid among the innumerable creates, barely congating how suspsicious that was before he knelt to ease open the lid then see the coins inside.

Rufus snarled only moments before a svelte voice asked "Didn't your mother ever teach you not to touch other people's things..?" As a smartly dressed lady stepped from the shadows clad in an old format of imperial officer uniform, the dark jacket's brocade matching the pale cream-blonde of her hair. The woman's skin was pale as porcelain, her eyes bright and glittering even in the distant lantern-light, Klaus and Arbo both getting a crawl up their spine as the emerged woman simply smiled and drew a saber with languid grace.

Klaus spat "Did no-one teach you that smuggling is wrong?"

"Who's smuggling~?"
The woman purred, stepping between Klaus and Arda as she circled the rat-catcher, ignoring Rufus's best snarls to talk smoothly "I'm merely appropriating this little cove to store some goods, mayhaps before trading them at your lovely new colony."

Klaus narrowed his eyes, stilling and tensing as some unknown instinct pulled his hackles up, something in the way that the woman stilled, making Arda -who had been mid-motion to begin an incantation- pause in tandem. The rat-catcher grimaced "I can see the sanding-marks where this chest's port-markings were rubbed off, an' the fresh ink where you put on your own. You're either a smuggler, or a pirate."

The porcelain woman giggled icily "I prefer the term 'corsair'..."

...

Violence erupted like the ball from a cannon, though much as Klaus tensed he was not the target as the pale corsair lunged back to plant her boot's studded heel directly into Arda's gut with a distinct gut-hammering THUD that sent the wizard almost bent-double backward, hitting the rock wall and falling to her knees before vomiting.

Then Klaus had to weave his spear as he'd never tried before to keep up a defence against the corsair's blurring saber and relentless cold aggression, her motions smooth like a dancer's as she caught a charging Rufus on her boot-tip before launching the animal at Klaus. He yelped like Rufus himself while flailing to catch the dog, missing the point of the corsair's distraction as she lunged again toward the recovered Arda.

"Ah-ah! No magic!" The porcelain woman jeered.

This time the journeyman wizard was made to shriek as the corsair grabbed her forearm then broke the elbow, saber curling back for an immediately strike before Klaus came in. He hit the porcelain pirate amidships in a diving tackle, taking her down into the cove's rubble and sand in a kicking sprawl as he barked
"Go! I've got this!" The raw panic in his tone making Arda look up to see the cove's entire dozen-plus crew of sartosan-dressed figures closing in as Klaus wrestled the officer-dressed woman, briefly holding the upper hand through raw panicked strength.

Arda fled as that advantage turned, Klaus made to yelp again as the corsair drove a sharp head-butt into his helmet that still rang his bell, the woman displaying unnatural strength and flexibility in twisting like a serpent to pin Klaus. She didn't even seem to be breathing hard -in contrast to the rat-catcher's panting- as she hissed "Got me, have you..?"
She straddled Klaus like a trained grappler with shocking force, pressing his elbows painfully into his sides with her knees as she clamped a hand on the man's throat, squeezing to choke him even through the mail. Rufus charged, but the woman stunned the pooch with a snarl and a glare while Klaus faded into struggling unconsciousness.

Meanwhile, Arda and Bullo began their flight back to the colony, both of them dreading the news they now carried. Klaus was either dead or captured...

...Klaus hung by his elbows and wrists in the captain's quarters aboard the 'Penny Dreadful' sloop, rocking gently at anchor in the mists wreathing a random inlet on the Lustrian rocky coast. Yet he was not the one in danger, and his face was set in a snarl around a gag crammed into his mouth after a long tirade of foul language. Instead the ratter man watched with disgust as the corsair woman -'Captain' Peony Hardwright, though Klaus prefered 'Bitch'- led in a hollow-eyed estalian man using a leash and collar. The woman gave Klaus a cold smile as she purred "I'll be right with you... Let me just stock the larder, and perhaps have a snack."

CW: Sexual acts and very unsafe BDSM practices. Blood-Drinking.
Before Klaus could fully register the disgusting implications of those words Peony demonstrated them as she all but dragged the leashed man onto her sumptuous yet heavily stained bed -the sheets were darkly ruined with blood stains despite clear frequent washing- and hooked the leash onto a metal loop on the canopy before pulling it taut, making the man wriggle and choke as the captain practically dislocated his arms while binding them into a leather sleeve, forcing out a gurgle of pain as she posed her hollow-eyed pet in a dehumanising and humiliating way, neck forced out and up while his arms were pinned back and his legs stretched open at the frog-tied knees.

The pale captain delicately stroked the estalian man's presented cock with one hand as she then went in for an act that made Klaus's skin crawl all the way up his spine, his normal calm forced into quiet terror as Peony extended her canines and clamped her lips onto the bound estalian's outstretched neck, her body visibly growing in vitality and strength as she swallowed long gulps of vitae; all while masturbating the man as if she were a dominatrix.

Yet she left the estalian man drained but alive, a tongue longer than any human's had a right to be lapping at the wound as she pressed a green-gemmed amulet to it, sealing up the skin and flushing the limp man's pallid skin with a thin veneer of restored life. Peony wiped her hand clean with a perfumed cloth as she stood then, tossing the amulet onto the still-bound pet to help him recover as her attention turned back to Klaus.

...Peony licked her blood-stained lips clean as she approached Klaus after her disturbing session of feeding, leaving the Estalian blood-bag to recover with the help of the strange amulet as she traced a finger down her bust and gave the rat-catcher a chilling smile "Now, normally I'd seduce you into serving my purposes... But I'm feeling you are strangely resistant to my particular charms, and my Master has commanded me to wear the most delicate of soft-satin mittens while entreating your little governor to accept his... Investments into your colony's continued financial success. So Torturing you is oddly off the table."

Klaus leaned back so best he could as the captain leaned in and planted a chaste little smooch on his cheek, leaving a stain of copper-scented red as she reached instead behind him, to where Rufus hung in his own little cage.

"So, welcome to your brief stay as my beloved little Bargaining Chip, mortal. Your cute pooch will serve as my messenger, to carry my good tidings and word of your continued survival. And meanwhile I'll work on breaking into your little mind and erasing some of those... Vampiric memories you have of me. Along with the location of our Cove."

The vampire seemed almost amused at the feral savagery that Rufus put into attempting necrocide the moment his cage got loosened, making a dedicated effort to chew off the woman's hand at her wrist, yet it only took a long glowing glare to stiffen the dog's spine as the captain took him to her writing desk and began to scribe a letter...

You are Flynn Ryder, and it is the third day of the second week into building your colony. Whatever else is happening your day has been suddenly and without warning ruined in some way by two things.

The first was Arda and Bullo storming out of the jungle as if pursued by hellfire at nonsense-o-clock in the morning, barking about Klaus and his damned dog loud enough to wake the dead. Apparently the damned fool had gotten himself captured by pirates or smugglers of all people, after trespassing in one of their hidden coves.

The second was those pirates sending Klaus's Dog back as some sort of 'goodwill' gesture, carrying a letter in his teeth as he marched like a little dog-shaped golem up to your foot. It was a bit disturbing, and Rapunzel seemed especially disgusted by whatever her mage-sight saw.
Johann took ownership of the bloody dog after that, and good Sigmar's Ghost the thing has not stopped howling since then.

The letter was ominous, if nothing else. The pirates, or at least their captain, were willing to exchange Klaus back at a seemingly random beach along the scorpion coast, in exchange for 'allowances' of their goods being sold at your docks. They'd even return him with a 'gift', if you'd allow them to plant one of their hidden coves nearby -with a guarantee that none of your people would search for it.

We're maxed out on adventurers, we deliberately overstocked on Martial adventurers to make up for our lack of mercenaries, and we have Johanna for wizardly power. Not only that, this is a rescue mission, which is a type of mission Flynn Ryder has experience in. We've got this.

The equivalent of Brazilwood in Lustria would be called Lustrewood, when and if y'all discover it (or are given the secret by someone who knows it already).
Ah, so then I won't be able to use it in a thing I'm writing until then.
The Wealth of Lustria

To most the answer to the question of "What is in Lustria that could cause so many to risk their lives in that green hell?" is obvious. They would reply "Gold, mountains of it." And this would not be an untrue answer, for the Lizardmen do possess massive amounts of gold in the temple cities. Few have bothered to ask themselves what else of value lies in the jungle. I, [SPANISH NAME], have however and my attempt to answer this question has caused me to dive down a rabbit hole that seemed to have no bottom. Now near the end of my life I will attempt to finally answer this question.

Allspice –

Cacao – … beans are found inside queer seedpods that grow from the trunk and major branches of the cacao tree. …

Fustic – … wood is used by dyers to produce a bright yellow dye with great color fastness …

Huitlacoche – Introduced to me by a certain Amazon guide during my 3rd trip to Lustria, huitlacoche is a form of blight that infects corn. In stark contrast to nearly every other form of blight huitlacoche seems to be more prized by the inhabitants of Lustria than uninfected ears and is regarded as a delicacy. It has a [TASTE DESCRIPTION]. The ears must be harvested and consumed before the blight has fully matured and becomes filled with spores, which are [TASTE OF SPORES]. …

Logwood – … valued by dyers … is used to produce blue, black, and purple dyes … color fastness of blue logwood dyes is inferior to indigo. …

Lustrian Beeswax – … Wax obtained from the giant bees of Lustria is valued by high end chandlers throughout the Old Word for it naturally gives off the scent of exotic flowers when burned. In addition, the vapors that arise when Lustrian beeswax is burnt have been known to possess hallucinogenic properties similar to but milder than the bee's honey. Combined these properties have made candles made from such occasionally show up during parties thrown by the wealthy. Those interested in indulging in such must be warned that many members of the Inquisition consider the possession of such to be a sign of membership in a Slaaneshi cult. Members of similar organizations throughout the Old World have been known to possess similar views. …

Lustrian Honey – … has hallucinogenic properties … hallucinogenic properties are retained when brewed into mead …

Mahogany –

Obsidian – The continent is known to be home to several deposits of obsidian. It is a jet-black stone similar in appearance to the obsidinite(?) used by the native Lizardmen. However, whereas obsidinite(?) is known for its strength and durability obsidian is brittle and breaks into (often razor sharp) pieces when struck. Valued by …

Rosewood –

Tabacco –

Vanilla – … the spice is found inside the bean like seedpod that grows from the tree. The vanilla beans themselves, however, do not resemble beans in the slightest, instead taking the form of fine black grains. …

White Cinnamon – … White cinnamon trees can be found on the Lustrian mainland, but instead upon nearby islands along the eastern coast. They are … A spice with a similar taste to cinnamon can be derived from the bark of the tree, which one should not confuse for true cinnamon. White cinnamon is generally held to be inferior to cinnamon and thus fetches a lower price at market.

You could include it as a Wood that sometimes shows up in lustrian-made bows (such as those used by skinks) and in instruments made by lustrian natives, but nobody knows exactly what tree it comes from.

Also, Cacao and Vanilla are the goals for some personal quests among your advisors.

I'd much prefer it, in fact, if a lot of these resources come with the caveat that there are conflicting/few sources on their precise origin.

Woops wait shit, did we ever do a vote on your Diplomatic choices for the Centoreans?
From Here

I may give y'all all three diplomatic offers for missing that, and let you pick one of the researched blueprints as part of the potential planin Week 2. The diplo offers are all little rewards anyhow.
