Hypothetically depending on what kind of Slann wakes this could even be a good thing, but good or bad it is bound to be a complicated thing, one we do not want to encounter first thing on shore. So with that in mind.... Time for an Celestial Journeywoman to somehow use her knowledge of the future to keep a Slann asleep.

They're dead set against Chaos, they've got a cunning plan, and they're super fucking powerful? Why wouldn't we want one of the big slimy bois awake?

…what do you mean "the giant frog just vaporized half of our colonizing fleet"?

You know given that we roll a die every week the mean-time-to-happen of any die value is 100 weeks, which is to say 25 months, a little more than two years. It is about to be very interesting times in Lustria is what I'm saying.

Really it's the Empire's fault for sending someone with Flynn's luck. :V

I suspect the Event Table is not unchanging. If we act in certain ways, we can probably shape the Events somewhat (ie: if we make peaceful first contact with the amazons, and Event where we make less peaceful first contact would no longer be available...it might shift to some other misunderstanding, but the context is still quite different). So making nice with the lizardmen seems like it might remove, or at least reshape, that particular event somewhat.

But yeah, we're probably gonna meet a Slann at some point, so getting our diplomatic situation set up to make that less of a problem is a priority. If we're in good with them, then one waking up is arguably good (Rapunzel needs serious magical help, a Slann could provide that)...but we're definitely not at that point yet. We need time to prove we're less of a problem and more of an asset before we draw the attention of the big boys.
