As Multiverses Colide (A Multiversal Crossover, Where Starting In the 90's Things Change)

The Year is 1991. On Earth, The End of History is Upon the World, and now, there is peace… relatively, with the United States being the sole superpower of the world, where their policy shapes the world almost uncontested, as no nation is strong enough to contend them, yet.

The thing with peace is that it's really hard to keep, and even then, it's only temporary compared to the past.

But the world is now teetering on the edge of a grand design that no one can understand. Hell, no one has ever seen it before.

Because it is the End of history indeed… But the end is always the start of a beginning.

In Space; Mankind will soon reach the stars, and he should be prepared for something desperate and terrible beyond it.

For they will die if they are not strong enough.

And in the computer landscape of mankind's creations, there is another beginning as the world evolves and is reborn into a world we cannot comprehend or even understand.

[]XCOM (Extinction Command): In 1989, Mankind discovered an Unidentified Flying Object in Earth's atmosphere, giving us final conclusive proof that Mankind was not alone in this universe. The first contact did not go well, and the intentions of the Aliens were clear. They were hostile. Thankfully, Soviet Coverups and American Bombings made it look like something else entirely. But now, the world needs to prepare for what is to come. In a joint and spectacularly unanimous vote by the United Nations, and the security council. They have provided funding, equipment, and resources for a special task force meant to counter extraterrestrial invasions from Beyond Earth. XCOM. Extinction Command. Mankind's first, and possibly, last, line of defense.

[]The Wild Bunch (Digimon): In 1984, a group of computer scientists and Hakers from Stanford University, during a summer in Palo Alto, known as "The Wild Bunch" decided to experiment on artificial intelligence. It was deemed a failure, but in a series of unlikely events, they left it running, with one using designs from their son, to create monsters that have the ability to Evolve. And it continued running. But there were few tangible results, the group was disbanded, and the ideas for something called Digimon were sold to Namco Bandi so that the Americans in the group could pay off their student loans. But the simulation and world they created, despite being turned off, was still running in the background of the evergrowing ARPANET and Internet. Continuing until the dawn of a new year… it made contact. Digital monsters from another world beginning to appear on computer screens of military and personal computers. Life has been created, and now we have to discover what exactly has been done.



AN: Before you ask, yes this was created in a haze, and with help, with at least three turns and actions all planned out for each of them.

And when I say in the 90's I mean things will start in the 90's and continue to create... problems for you to solve.
