The requirements are for a light freighter for in-sector parcel delivery. The numbers the customer wished for are the second value behind each system.

The way I see it this load out, while more expensive than what they want, is very good as a freighter and has enough defenses to drastically reduce losses from piracy which should help defray long term costs.
 
We should offer a basic ship that doesn't come with any of the add ons. Some people wont like the extra cost, others might want, or already have, a different model droid they want to use on their ship. None of the proposed extras are critical and several seem like the things someone looking for a new ship would already have.

I would swap to regular plating to lower costs. As the plan currently stands its price might be too high for local users.

No, not currently. But if you don't land the precurement Marketing will look into it.

If no re-roll is given, just a single d100 will be rolled. With a re-roll I roll two dice and take the better result.

Tentative plan thoughts. With us only needing a 10 on weapons I think the minimum to unlock the category would be good enough. Armor is a nice addition and I like it as a signature thing that makes our ships unique. It seems we start at 5/35 for cost and I don't want us to overshoot 200%. This plan puts us at 42 but gives us a reroll for all categories. Hopefully what this means is we'll really exceed all requirements and so the fact it's 20% over the requested budget won't be a dealbreaker. I'm not sure if this meets special component requirements though.

Edit: I like what @RaptorusMaximus did to figure out what a final configuration looks like. Here's how I think my plan would end up.

Wrote all this out mainly to help myself get the numbers straight. QM please let me know if I'm doing things wrong.

This would put us about 20% over the requested cost, but I don't remember how bad that would be for us. This seems like a reasonable enough spread for us, and I like the idea of using the proprietary armor-plating that we already have. I could be persuaded to downgrade the blaster to a fixed-mount over the turret, but I wouldn't like it-I'm not a fan of fixed weapons on anything larger than a starfighter. Lastly, I think we need at least 1 of the offered 'luxury' options, and the Holotable seems better to me than the Cook-Droid.

The costs for the Hyperdrive and Sublights are already included. As you only have two of them available, there wasn't much decision-making, so I did it for you.

Small cost increase over goal but performance should justify it as a low frills courier or armored light freighter.
