Lex Mechanica

I dont call out coalitions by name because the Warriors dont arent interested in ideologies, they just want whats best for the military and ensure democracy continues. So they like pretty much everybody, the only reason the Steel Cult is on the No Coalition list is because they are trying to muscle in on the Warriors space and speak out against them

- [X] 1: Vassalize, subjugate, integrate, or destroy the remaining independent xeno tribes
Any reason for getting rid of the independent Xenon tribes?
For all the flaws of the Seekers, I didn't think "urgent to remove indepent Xenos that aren't threatening us" would be one of them.
- [X] 2: Study the Dren both psycher and regular to discover more of their nature and how it can be utilized
Any chances for Seekers taking some care when dealing with psykers?
(Like the establish black station action in Illuminated Mechanicus's plan)
The Immaterium reacts to thought and the facists have a whole empire, an inter-galactic lighthouse strength psyker, and a very long time to think nasties into it.

The Steel Cult has no problem with the Warriors, it just expanded in the military to give one more option where there was only one.

[X] Plan: Continued Glorious Governance
- [X] Party: Seekers of the Omnissiah
- [X] Coalition: Yes: The Lighthouse of Humanity, The Bearers of the Beacon, Adeptus Sustainus, Warriors of the Machine God
- [X] 1: Vassalize, subjugate, integrate, or destroy the remaining independent xeno tribes
- [X] 2: Study the Dren both psycher and regular to discover more of their nature and how it can be utilized
- [X] 3: Give legal equality to mutants and abhumans inside our territory, if this cannot pass coalition at least attempt to raise their standing
- [X] 4: research into our rising mutant population, finding both how to cure them and how to utilize those mutations which are more useful left as is.
- [X] 5: Gladly accept the offers of the space marines, Valhallans, and the inquisitor, give them anything they desire and try to keep their eyes away from our more radical works
- [X] Outreach: The Seeker's works have brought the eyes of the emperor's angels themselves! It is because of our works and our policy and creations that led to such holiness being visited apon our world!

Bit of a rough draft but seems alright

Okay I don't have the brainspace to do a splinter anytime soon so I'll just contribute some opinions.

I think we may want some more infrastructure and economy planks as well as some stuff for the lower classes in general, not just radical social planks, even if I don't object to those.

We kickstarted the beaver wars a planetwide free for all, the remaining tribes are either ones affiliated to us or fighting those.

Want to end the massive wars they're all fighting

That's fair yeah, I'll focus on that next turn

[X] Plan: Continued Glorious Governance

I guess it's okay if we do the infra next turn.

Prospective idea for a new party/plan, anyone interested?

I am, at least a bit. I don't think the Habblocks idea is going to work though, not yet. Maybe stockpiling food instead? On top of that, I don't much care for the Seekers, but sustainability is a worthy enough goal that I can tolerate them.

[X] Plan: Burn the Grox- eat the Grox!

Also:

[X] Plan: Shining Zealotry
You have to pick one, unfortunately. One vote per player.

You're probably right on that, but enough people have voted with that being in the plan that I'm a bit weary of making another change to the plan. Also— I think you can only vote for one plan/party at a time so keep that in mind.

What about joining a more reasonable splinter, like "Bearers of the Beacon"?
[X] Plan: Security Focus
-[X] Party Name: Bearers of the Beacon
-[X] Party Represents: The Magi, Chaff
-[X] Ideology: The kinder side of the Mechanicus would call them dreamers. The majority calls them fools. Simpletons that ignore data and numbers for intangible results. They are the ones who see the galaxy around them and ask "Why?". They are the ones who weren't satisfied with the answers that the Mechanicus were giving to mankinds' woes and sorrows.
-[X] Coalition:
--[X] Yes:
---[X] Radical
--[X] No:
---[X] None
-[X] 1: Accept all three deals with the interest parties. For the Valhallan General, assign some techpriests so they can properly test and use the equipment. Make sure that no blame falls on our head if the Saturnite weapons underperforms. For the Tech-Marine, figure out what exactly they want us to teach future tech-marines along with what equipment the Chapter needs. Speaking of which, look into the Blood Leopards chapter and find out why they're on bad terms with Mars. If relations are as bad as some of us fears, then there's a good chance that Mars will start harassing us just to fuck with the Blood Leopards. Lastly, figure out which Drens is better to send to the Inquisitor. On one hand, taking subjects from our vassals could strain relations between us. On the other hand, having hostile Drens find out about Chaos and bringing that knowledge back will absolutely fuck us.
-[X] 2: Set up a department that oversees the immigration into the forgeworld. While it's useful that people are willing to drop off perfectly good human capital for free, it also represent a open door for hostile actors to slip in and cause havoc. We need to make sure that doesn't happen. Otherwise it gives a good reason for the Inquisition and orthodox factions to nose around into our business.
-[X] 3: Push for abhumans to be properly recognized for their deeds and actions in our forgeworld. If they're recognized by the Omnissiah and properly carry out our Order's will, why should they be shunned? Use this as a stepping stone to start help with the mutants gaining recognition.
-[X] 4: Set up an internal security branch of the Skittari. Even with the distance from the broken Hive Fleet, there's still a chance of Genestealer cults setting up on our planet. If they can get a foothold on our world and damage us, it can set back any abhuman and mutant rights for generations. This can not happen.
-[X] 5: Research and implement the possible uses of Saturnite into industrial equipment.
-[X] Outreach: Take up teaching positions in the educational institutes.

Little bit more slapdash. Let me know if there's anything you want changed.

Hmm, I don't love the immigration plank. I do get the worry but I would have invested in increasing the immigration we want at the same time, if we're going to spend a plank reforming it.

Also not sold on secret skittari police. I'd have to think about an approach to this specific problem I'm satisfied with. Maybe a civilian investigative branch instead, rather than drawing it from the military, with the understanding it'd call for military backup if it finds anything?

Would it help if I change the skittari police action to a civilians one? I think I'm ok with changing that. Might have to check in with everyone else though.

The immigration one isn't as flexible though.
The Cogs of Justice launched an investigation into the mutant population of Sidonia, uncovering that besides the "normal" mutants there's been also immigration to the forge by them, either abhumans that your sector is famed for or being dropped off passing ships, while normal the frequency is concerning.
What the CoJ has found worries me. Even it's a bit inefficient, I would like to focus on bookkeeping first then follow up with more immigration.
