The Mechanicus tells the Inquisition to fuck off plenty as well. There are uncounted numbers of minor skirmishes between them and the occasional wider open conflicts, but despite that both sides do their best to avoid escalation. The Inquisition sometimes has need for a Forge World's services after all and getting blacklisted would be quite the hindrance to their duties.

One of the perks of being part of the priesthood of Mars rather than some nobody laborer. We can do what we want more than most people in the Imperium can. So why not use that privilege and power for good? Why not use our power to make our lives and the lives of the menials we care for, and the lives of the xenos locals who havent really done anything of siginificance better? Or at least not oppress them for the crime of existing?

      -[X] Coalition: Yes. Generally anyone that's cool with exploring but the party has a radical bent and foundation so likes radical parties more because practically exiled into the fringes are where the unorthodox admech members go so they might as well go exploring.
      -[X] 1. Use the explosion of faith and energy to get more people to rapidly build enough factories that build ships and the infrastructure to maintain them to enable transit from the forge to the moon and other places in the system for future exploration missions.

After which begin trading with the Drens after the tribes that we defeated have calmed down from fighting other tribes for their land to reduce unleashing a truly destabilizing event.     • The biggest weakness of the opponents to the Seekers in my opinion, is a refusal to coalition with us, and an insistence on forming a corone sanitaire in an attempt to keep us from achieving power for whatever reason.

    I dont think thats a weakness at all, "if you cant beat them join them" is pretty boring and cannot work if they (the opposition) dont want to (and they dont, if they wanted they would not be in the opposition in the first place). The reasons have been also discussed quite a bit, to recap its mainly a different choice in programs/ideology/ simple taste.

    I mean Seekers are welcoming of other parties, we have not rejected coalitioning with anyone. Its all yall who have explicitly put into your parties a refusal to coalition with us. Our door is open, everyone else just refuses to step through it.

    My understanding is we dont need to list every other party we are willing to form a coalition with if we are willing to form up with everyone? So you need to count the parties who arent willing to coalition with us.

    Like, honestly, I would like there to be someone in coalition with the Seekers to reign them in and make things more interesting? Right now it's either 'everyone else teams up despite not agreeing on a ton of things' or 'Seekers win basically solo', neither of which is super great. Ideally, there'd be less radical parties than the Seekers willing to coalition but also hold the Seekers back from their agenda. But as long as no such party exists, I'm going to keep voting Seeker because I don't like the cordon that's created.

    You are free to create your own party that is willing to coalition with both Seekers and anti-Seeker-parties.
