    • The party of nine from where they had entered in the night comes out to a party of seven, all of them looking as two more of their numbers have vanished. And so like every night prior, the two missing are revealed.



    The first is revealed as Reisen Inaba, Moon Rabbit on Earth (@Shalmoa), who 'died' from a Knock on the Head.



    The second is revealed as Alice Margatroid, Seven-Colored Puppet Master (@dinomannitro6), who 'died' from being Knocked Out In A Closet.

    And a message is left upon the table to read.

    Reevals needed on Walker's flip
    Everyone needs progressions now IMO
    Hobo's vote NAI even if late due to self-pres
    Other votes probably won't get good info at this point
    Not sure if absences are notable right now (Dino/Comi, YP to a lesser extent)

    • Anyway, ignoring my thoughts on the targeting, Atoms is now mech-cleared in light of more green flavor, barring anybody wanting to potentially counterclaim the Odd-Night KP (doubtful lol).
     
    This... fulfills my clear but also not. It's really weird, because while I personally would've targeted YP over Shal after the Walker clear, we literally can't afford to clear both since the former flipped green. So... we could be living in a world where Scum!YP but no Scum!Shal, but I doubt it.

    Thoughts on a ninja being in this game at all? Because after a Shal / YP clear there's only around two other targets it could possibly be
     
    Okay, so we pretty much have two slots to treat as de facto VTs then. Here's about where I'm at with everything in light of that:

    Mech-Confirmed Town
    A Bunch of Atoms (Odd-Night Vigilante)

    Backable Roles (NOT Mech-Confirmed)
    Young Pyromancer (Voyeur)

    @A Wise Hermit If your claim is truthful, I would advise against taking your shot when primed. It kind of blows since it means we can never actually confirm your slot, but with where we're at I'm pretty 50/50 on whether we can afford another Night-ended miss with an accurate vote, and we definitely can't with an inaccurate one.

    This goes for @A Bunch Of Atoms too but with the mech-clear in play, I don't see you living long enough to prime another shot unless you're giga-pocketed.

    I'd like an explanation about it but regardless of what's said, it doesn't change the fact that there are no worlds where Atoms isn't Odd-Night Vigilante here -- there just isn't the claim space for anything else on account of Comi getting hit with the Night 1 delay, Wiadi having the Night 2 ping from Dino, and IH apparently being blocked every Odd Night :)thonk:).

    That leaves YP, you, and myself, as the only possible slots that could counterclaim, where you already claimed Even-Night KP. Meanwhile, YP and I already have backable powers outside of the KP.

    I'm probably already beating a dead horse with this but I want to make sure it's absolutely clear that Atoms never dies by Town hands for the remainder of the game.

    No, I meant on Shalmoa. My push after Walker flipped green, as I detailed on my reads list, was going to be Shal / YP. But I was thinking about it last night, and I thought that there might be a world in which YP was scum and Shal wasn't... but at this rate that feels really unlikely.

    Right now...? I dunno. One thing I find really weird right now is how Comi spent a whole long post writing out a whole case-line in his post #2920 about how whoever finds out who Byzantine cheerled on Night 2 leads us to a victory, but then voted for Interstellar-Hugh... the person who everyone almost voted out Day 2 if he didn't show up in the first few minutes of the game, instead of, you know, one of the only people that the town town-read the most at that point in time, that being Wiadi? And after Shal flipped Doctor, that nearly guarantees that the Scum!roleblocker was, in-fact, cheerled. So...

    At first, I thought that you being alive was suspicious. Because it made sense for scum!team to kill you yesterday when everyone was town-reading you. But they forgot about two things: A) After Walker's flip as only being a letmecheck a double-voter, it felt really likely that there couldn't be an announcer - whatever else combo in the game, and B) that would kind of be the point of leaving you alive. So I feel safer resolving Wiadi today and seeing where that leads rather than any alternative.
     
    Actively at the tournament, but if I'm asked to reveal I'm Bulletproof, I do not wish to reveal if I'm limited shot but frankly I'm not going to be targeted for scum night kills. I should get confirmation of being shot so if Hermit want to shoot me that could be done but let me think on more.

    I think there's an argument to be made that Hugh being so close to death, stalling out for a good while during the Day, and eventually being saved due to that, in favor of an ultimately accurate vote in Variable, could have put the slot in a similar social state to YP at the time, who was game-state clearing for a good while (and honestly still kinda is IMO, but I think we're close to or at a point where that needs to be ignored outright in favor of pure contribution reads). We should go back and see where Byzantine was at early Day 3 though to see if that holds any real weight, because if not I agree that it's a weird-looking direction to take.

    At the very least, I think it puts me in a mindset where Comi/IH is almost certainly an unaligned pair, and with Comi's BP claim it kinda forces a hard reread of both slots, though without that my eyebrows are more raised at IH's three-fold roleblock claims ATM.

    I mean for me, current PoE is Wiadi, 100%. Just don't know what that flip means after that. Could be Comi because of his weird #2920 but could also be IH because of general weirdness and his refusal to mech / social solve anyone other than me. So at that point it's just a coin-flip unless we can get more data today.

    Ugh, fine, if we're doing this. 1-shot Neighborizer, used on Ori N2, hence why she was so prepared to trust that my visit was innocent. Since she died I've just been hoping to pull Scum actions/kills by implying access to a strong role and by being an unknown variable, but that evidently hasn't panned out.

    That's an awful lot of certainty from someone whose last read on me I could find any evidence of seemed to be pretty positive. Not that following your actual reads has been especially easy in general this game. Which I'm becoming increasingly convinced is because they're not real, just in service to the needs of the moment. Frantically push down the Doctor until that becomes socially untenable. Flip-flop to whoever it looks like Town is turning on to make sure you're not the one who goes out for the day. Now pivot to me because you knew I was suspicious of you yesterday, and this way you can try and make it look like any raising of those suspicions today is a defensive move rather than...continuing to follow the suspicions that I already had. Yeah, I'm not buying it any more.

    Moving back into college after break, so activity is hard.

    Visited Shalmoa to keep them alive. They were vigged and nothing else.

    Also, again, I told you Shalmoa was town! Grmrmrm.
