Changjian Meinu was tending to her guqin, inspecting it of any damage and cleaning any dust and the likes that are found, before she heard the door of her room open afterwhich her elder sister, Changjian Meili entered. Her mind previously drifting to the few perfomances they've done last month, as is having gained some new acquiantances as a result much to Meinu's shy surprise, before she shook her head to set aside such distracting thoughts at the back of her mind.
"Nu, what do you plan on doing this month?", 'Lu' asked her, causing Meinu to stop her task and ponder, as the eldest of the two sat beside the youngest. The two were once again easily distinguished by their crimson and azure attire, and if not that somehow then by their personality as Meinu is rather reserved whilst Meilu is more outgoing as evidenced to her just barging on her sister's room without even a knock or such. Though by last month's activity, and by the guqin the sisters seem to carry with them always, they are starting to have a small reputation of being performers in the Sect, of a pair of flowers yet to bloom as they slowly find their Dao... or so the rumors say anyway.
"..I was hoping to perhaps start forging the four organs, starting with my Eyes, dropping by the library for some books for the hows-and-whys or perhaps learning more of our Sect's namesake cultivation technique and starting from there.", Meinu replied to her sister Meilu, thinking it was best to get started on at least something after performing last month... heavens, the performance was something that came out of the blue as she was expecting them to simply start training playing their guqin, they didn't have prior experience but perhaps true to their identification upon entering the Sect, they happen to have the knack to learn such basics easily, and learning, or stumbling really, their chosen Dao of Music. At first, some individuals who play the guqin came up as well, and then Meilu somewhat decided that why not play a performance or two with said group? That was exactly what happened last month and maybe a bit more than two, though not a single step was taken to comprehending their chosen Dao, they at least made a few acquaintances a-and even friends amongst their fellow Disciples in the Outer Courtyard.
...she denies any allegations from her eldest sister that she found it fun somehow... though it's obviously true...
"Oooh, a good starting step! But you see, I had an interesting talk with Putong Hua and a few others-", Meilu started, and Meinu listened with rapt attention, as the older Changjian conveyed that there'll be a lecture this month coming from the Elder of Community, Jiayi Shiang in the 'Fields of Contemplation'. That, though this is yet to be confirmed, there were another set of rumors that there might be another lecture next month concerning their Sect's namesake cultivation technique. As for which Elder, they've yet to know, thus the 'rumor'.
"..I see. And the Fields of Contemplation huh? If the name rings true, that seems like a good place to comprehend the Dao.. barring if there is a need for permission or fee to go there, not withstanding any dangers on the way.", Meinu said, a rather cautious reply at that even, having heard of such place for the first time though judging by the facial expression of Meilu, her sister also seems to be of the same circumstances.
"Indeed! I was thinking that maybe we should ask around where that is, should be simple enough really!, and maybe ask a few of our acquitances who are interested on attending the lecture. Putong Hua at least will be there so that's us three confirmed.", Changjian Meilu said with a smile on her face, perhaps too big and wide even, as her eyes glittered with obvious interest, a contrast to the contemplative tinge from that of Changjian Meinu. Sighing to herself, Meinu nodded in agreement simply.
"Then it is decided, we shall attend the lecture, but before the appointed day we ought to find its location to avoid being lost and finding it on said day, get some of our acquiatances that are interested to attend as well if they wish, and maybe have some writing material prepared just so after the lecture we can write it down. As is, I can only remember a certain number of things within my mind until we can start cultivating.", Meinu repeat their plans for this month with Meilu, which is simple enough, before the latter decided they ought to have lunch as it was close to noon now as the two sisters left for the dining hall afterwards. En route, the youngest cannot help but wonder if they should bring their guqin during the lecture? Maybe they'll be inspired somewhat, though at the same time she had no plans on disturbing what she is assuming a tranquil peace in the Fields of Contemplation, it would be rude otherwise to the rest of the disciples attending much more so to the honored Elder Jiayi Shing that has given their time to lecture them...
