Something Wicked (Villainous Magical Boy Quest)

It is technically possible to create another mini boss, but you'll have to burn some serious resources and roll very well indeed. I can't overstate how lucky you guys are to have gotten Sasori for free. He was meant to be a real thorn in your side and I'm being very gracious and not depowering him now that he's bonded to Zaiyu.
What I'm hearing is, no creating new minibosses until the end of season 1.

I'm still wanting to make Kyoko into a Dark Magical Girl who fights for us against the heroes.
It's seeming like an even better with her having actually good magic perception rolls, means she can actually notice the shit we don't, and we'll end up forming a trio of Strength-Magic-Tech if we include Sasori.
And honestly, we could do it pretty with a half-explanation of 'us aliens used to live on this planet are can't find anywhere else to live, but we don't want to get dissected by people, can you help us pretty please?'

Same, dark magical girls are cooler than baseline magical girls, I mean the Aliens do have legitimate claim to earth we could probably manage. We should try bringing her to the dark side yeah.

If we have our way, there's going to be a lot of face-heel and heel-face turns in this series.

Can we make Zaiyu just take over the sea? Like with advanced magitech they could probably live underwater and thus take over 70% of the planet.
But then they wouldn't be free in the sun! They'd be stuck in small, airtight spaces, with death awaiting them if they open a door at the wrong time, which is completely unlike how they live now.

I mean, the big problem is that space doesn't have a mana network, and the Estil kinda need one of those. But it would probably be difficult to convince them to give up all that land.

I mean yeah the bigger reason for them wanting earth is mana, but I think most of the Estil would prefer not to have to keep wearing spacesuit charms and stuff, if their underwater they probably have to waste mana they don't want to waste.

Hence the "It would probably be difficult to convince them to give up all that land".

Sticking the Estil in a new Rapture is one of the less practical coexistence plans, but it would work. As with all coexistence plans, though, it relies on being able to convince the Estil to not destroy human civilization and take the whole planet. Which does not seem like something they're considering.

It means that Kyoko will become even more suspicious and convinced that Zaiyu is a masquerading wizard apprentice desperately hoping to not get found out

[X] JUST A LITTLE PEEK

The image of a stereotypical japanese delinquent and his two buddies peeking through a door, one head above the other like it's some kind of old cartoon has me laughing so loud right now.

Yeah, I can picture the scene in my head super clear right now, it fits.

If Zaiyu manages to start reliably rolling high for perception checks, I may have to gradually reduce the effects of Tunnel Vision. But what are the chances of that happening?
In theory, pretty high.
In practice, it'll probably happen once we're relying a lot less on magical perception for plot related things.

[X] BAVARIAN FIRE DRILL

Hard ask, this is a magic centric quest, the dice gods don't want Zaiyu to see the truth; they wish to keep him silent.

To be fair, if you guys had picked the Monster or the Titan, there'd be a lot less focus on magic perception in general. The Monster is a brawler rather than an infiltrator and the Titan is a manipulator who already knows most of this stuff. The Alien was always going to be faced with a lot of perception checks, Zaiyu being bad at them just makes it funnier. You've been hoist by your own petard.

Glad the alien option was picked then, I love magic systems.
