Darn, i don't suppose we can tell the notultramarine that as part of the price of help, that the orbital budget point needs to go through?

Also can we get Roboute to give us his admin help on Svarga in repayment for help? Tis only fair, he IS taking away the money printer goes brrr after all, we need need something to make up for that.

The Ultramarine present says that it's not going to happen, as the Imperium won't have the funds available for such a massive project.

Guilliman is more than happy to provide his expertise to Svarga.

Fair nough on the funding, and awesome, cause even just his help in narrowing down the embezzlement percentages and how to handle them would be immensely helpful.

Streamlining the logistics of the domain would be another, same for the red tape.

Policy improvements, basically we want to become his bureaucratic apprentice

As easy and convenient as it is to just 'leave it be', there is real risk of this escalating at the best of times, the more info and non exposing help this gets, the better.

Let's not forget the amount of damage that will result from Eli's spending. 70%+ production loss, 30% population drop, and 20% secession across the imperium. This will happen at 30 years aka 6 turns at best. We cannot afford this, which means we cannot afford Eli cannot be in charge, this also means we cannot afford to sit by and just do nothing.

Even if it isn't much, helping via just giving them information to refine their plans or even drawing away sos for some experiments still tilts the odds more in their favor even if it's only by a single percentage point...which sometimes is all the difference.

The economy of the Imperium is literally 'our circus, our monkeys' and the idea that it isn't is honestly rather scarey. Our domain is NOT operating in a vacuum and we still need to prepare for the orks coming back, let alone facing the threats that are developing in their absence.

Apathy and distance will help no one.

Nobody is advocating for intricate and hydra level plans, but simple help and avoiding something I had thought unavoidable is very much worth it.

Hmm, much as I'd like to stay neutral on this, Arg's is making a decent effort and several points. Logically speaking, it really doesn't fit for us to just leave this to chance.

Either we want to keep riding Eli's money train in which case we essentially act as the minimizing damage control angel on his shoulder for spending like getting our investment set up in all domains that can use it and need to warn him.

Or we realize he's a threat to the Imperium's sustainability and future in which case we need to offer aid to Skullface's coup while making sure this can't get back to any of the primarchs involved.

We also want to help if we do in order to avoid as many causalities on both sides, as well as avoid this escalating into a full civil war.

Plus, this is Kesar, he will find ANY way to turn a situation to long and short term benefit, which in this case is Roboute's help with Svarga and finding out who else to go to if need be.

@Daemon Hunter , had an idea on the Discord server:

"Huh, I wonder if we can just share the Imperial Palace's layout, or as best as Kesar knows, to the coup-ers?
Unless the coup-ers get extremely lucky or extremely fast, I don't think they're gonna catch Eli in his office before he tries to escape elsewhere
And I more mean where, say, there are defensive regions, places where there are civilians, places which are vulnerable in this way, etc. etc.
That civilian part is a big element, imo. Best to avoid too much bloodshed or other people caught in the conflict."

As while other Primarchs have come to the Imperial Palace, Kesar has been there for a very long while. Mostly with a headache and focused on psychic stuff, but I bet he knows a bit more. Especially for some more up to date information. Every little bit helps.

Skullface has the full plans for the Imperial Palace, he has a few sources that have provided him Dorn's schematics for it.

We also have WoG that if we share the rune of subtlety, it *WILL* expose Kesar as having backed the coup...which has a LOT of political ramifications. Not in the least because it shifts the coup from a purely IA matter to one in which the primarchs have meddled and can potentially expose Roboute and Corvus which could have...*consequences*.

We cannot support Eli as has been proven I feel.

If we do nothing it risks the coup failing or having a lot of collateral damage, neither of which is good.

and if we are overt, we risk triggering a civil war.

We need to help but not only help but juuust the right amount.

So how much help should we give then to lessen the impact?
