Because the "Real World" and the "World of Fiction" have crossed over, and you are seeing the consequences first hand.
Companies try to get a hold of "their creations", nations accuse one another of being responsible for this, fictional characters think that they are an hot deal, and LITERAL DEMONS roam the planet.
Oh, and it seems that the world itself is larger. As in, Planet Earth has increased its size. It is now 3,33 times bigger.
Surprisingly, the rest of the universe seems to have been affected too, which explains why we haven't been incinerated by the Sun yet.
Europe, Asia and Africa are home to countless long extinct realms and "fictional" realms, and they surprisingly don't overwrite one another. The Americas are in constant war with themselves, as cryptids, serial killers, ink blots and much more beat each other up for control. You don't even know what the heck is going on in the Artic, Antartic an Oceania/Australia, but you can guess it's nothing good.
The Global Warming Issue has been both solved and worsened, Resources are overflowing even in areas where they should be scarce, the Literal Hell made its appearance (even if incredibly stylized and simplified), and the economies of the world have already crashed 3 times in the last two months. And all that without anyone actually asking the Devils, Deities and Sentient Programs for help.

WHAT IS THIS?
So, as you may have Noticed by that Introductory bit, the World is Three (and periodic) times larger, and a bunch of fictional characters have appeared.
and with "A Bunch", I actually mean "Every Fictional Character That I know/You Suggest".
So yeah, this is probably going to be a MASSIVE Quest. I am not sure if I will finish it in my lifetime, and I will probably need a bunch of people that are interessed in this to help me out.
WHY THIS QUEST?
So, I liked other CKII Quests on this site. DoofQuest, FatherQuest, RocketQuest, even an Anime MultiverseQuest.
But, they always stuck to one particular version of a character, with specfic rules and specific franchises included at a time.
This thing here? It has (theoreticaly) Everything.
Why? I like to have options. And a somewhat civilized Anarchic-Quest where almost EVERYTHING YOU WRITE IS CANON!
EVERYTHING?
Not Everything, of course, but ALMOST EVERYTHING!
You want Doctor Who to team up with Percy Jackson and a Fifa team to stop Bowser? You Can.
Want Disney (The Company) to traumatize its own creations (the animated characters)? You Can.
Want Star Wars, Marvel and Dragon Ball duking it out to see which one has the better McGuffin' YOU CAN!
EVERYTHING CAN HAPPEN! Except Fancomic, "18+" versions of characters or alternate histories, cause I am not comfortable with writing these as Canon, and/or i might need approval from the original authors.
P.S: You can reference it - if it is coherent with the proprety you are working with -, but it cannot be the main focus, nor can it be of "bad taste" (read: if you try to post P3d0 or Sc4t content, you are getting banned on sight. That stuff is not tollerated in any way, shape or tought.)
HOW CAN THIS WORK?
As i mentioned, this Quest is going to be Colossal. I may not be able to update much, due to the fact that I have a thight University life.
So, as a Compromise, in order to not make whoever may like this Quest starve, I am allowing practically anyone to post (within reason)
As long as your "Omake" or "Cool Ides" doesn't contain Heavy Gore, Nudity or other No-No Stuff, you are free to post whatever you want.

Some characters and locations of a franchise appear wildly different entry from entry. A couple of them are Composite* characters/locations, others exist as separate entities. Just like the question before, Ask and you shall recieve. (As long as i know the franchise in question, or as long as someone makes a good enough omake that gets canonized.)

After getting ready for the day (and remembering who you were), you made yourself some breakfast. You were going to drink your cocoa-powdered milk in peace, but suddently you heard a knock at the door. You get out of the kitchen, open the door, and find a package.
A Book Collection: A book collection of J.R.R. Tolkien books, Sherlock Holmes books and Agatha Christie books. Might be a nice read. A Small Robot: There is a small, white and light-magenta bear robot. You don't know what to do with this, but it seems cute. A Small Box: Inside the box, there is a collection of 4 rings with animals engraved on them, and one who looks like a bunch of rocks. A Cartdrige: On the cartdrige, there is a single word scribbled on it. "Majora". Weird.
Now, a free package is a free package, but you have the feeling that something weird will happen if you just... take it.
What will you do? []Take the Package. Whatever, free stuff is free stuff. Besides, you only live once. (You obtain the Package and all its contents, for better or for worse) []Leave the Package. Movies: For Dc, we have the "Batman Burton" and the "Superman:Man of Steel" versions. For Marvel, all movies from the end of the Millenium up to "Guardian of the Galaxy: Volume 1"
Videogames: For Dc, all games licensed up to "Batman: Arkham City". Same for Marvel.
Comics: The Golden Age Comics, The Silver Age Comics, "Killing Jokes" and "Crisis on Infinite Earths", "Infinity War" Part 1 and 2.
That is all for the moment. I don't know the majority of DC and Marvel content, but the ones that I mentioned i remember. I may need an actual expert if that side is to be used. Sorry.

They exist, but I don't know how to write them. Besides, aside from One Punch Man, Death Note and long-forgotten early Dragon Ball Seasons, i didn't really watch Anime growing up. I appreciate them, but i prefer Western Cartoons.

Also, yes. Jim Carrey already knows that HIS version of Robotnik is now real, and after being slightly weirded out, they settled things peacefully. With no lawsuit and a couple of jokes, they now registered each other on their phones. They can call each other now. Be kinda afraid.
Oh well, it could have gone WAY worse.

Composite Character: In this world that has many versions of a single character, there is almost always a Composite Character. Composite Characters have all the Strenghts and Weaknessess of their "components", even if they are contradictory. [Example: Composite William Afton is capable of exiting his Springtrap Form (like in the books) and comes back a lot of times (like the games), but if he is dragged into a furnace without any suit on, they will Die and STAY DEAD (so, that means no Glitchtrap, Mimic and other wannabe)] Omake: A small fanfiction/one-shot. May become canon if particulary well-written and/or if the Author(s) know about the Fiction / Original Content. Heroball: When two (or more) Hero Unit have Synergy, and are put togheter, they are considered an Heroball. The Heroball has different Personal Action as an unit compared to its xomponents. It also only occupies one Slot in the roster. Essentially, an Hivemind. Canon Event: It means that the story told in the omake became Canon/Real in the World oof Multifiction.

This is the World Map. I would have Loved to post My version of the map, but couldn't. Thanks to "EU4 ParadoxWikis" for this Map.
For now, assume that every Nation that existes in our world in 2020 is there. There hasn't been any "real legitimized" new country appearing, nor any MegaCorp that have a proper hold of any territory. The DARK GREY areas are zones where Life and Companies can't prosper, but Nations still own them (just like blank areas) for resources.
I will post a new map every 12 Turns. A full year. That new map will show which active players managed to gain some sort of control. I will also try to post a bunch of mini-maps about Specific Places. Ok? Ok.

So, I am accepting Co-Writers and passionate fans to help me.
I will publish a Discord link later, but for now, if you have a good idea on how to write Quests/Omake/Silly things, and/or are knowledgable on certain topics, feel free to PM me.
I want to create a good group that can take care of this Quest, help each other with writing, share info. Even if/when my interest in this Quest will vanish, I still want you to enjoy this without having to wait several Years.

Now, they told me that they are already helping with other Quests, but they are happy to lend an Hand in Statting and writing Omakes. Please, be nice to them, and don't nag them about "Hey, When Update". If they aren't answering or interacting, it is probably because they have other stuff to do, and we should respect that.
