Hopefully Eggman managed to get a sample for us.
I have an idea for future interactions, be it with Metal Sonic or Tails: We start to act like either Tycho or Durandal from Marathon. With Gamma or Eggman, not sure.

I'll give even chances that Tails removes mandatory loyalty to Eggman instead of rewiring us to some other case.
Relocating ourselves back to good doctor because we decided to be loyal to him by ourselves, with free will, is the thing I will go for.

Remember people undead frog doesn't do trap options! So pick whatever seems interesting to you, personally sticking with Eggman is starting to get stale so let's go with the options to bounce off our nemesis or better yet be the Kitsune King to Metal's Overlord. A Kitsune because it's great thematically(hello Tails we have nine of those do you like our illusions) and it's also great mechanically, we can so much to an avatar like that.
Also Metal Sonic is a great villain.

You do know this is Aiding the E.G.G.M.A.N right? Not Sonic the hedgehog AI quest if we for some reason work with tails we would be restricted to things like "Ethics" and not using animals as batteries.
And you know that it wasn't always called that until we picked our first person to follow yes?
That second point is however another reason why Metal Sonic is more interesting to me but finally getting a conversation with our nemesis is almost as good. Still nemesis because even in the scenario he's injected morals into us we still calling him enemy in the option itself which means we can go newly built ulton on him since he's not expecting it and our new Ethics don't stop us from being evil.
What if that response is before he reprograms us?
Anyway still egg man is a amazing character and one of my favorites in fiction

Again undead frog doesn't do trap options, if it just suddenly made us good with little to no fanfare that would both be boring story wise and not what we want as players so Frog wouldn't do that.
Also yeah Eggman is a great character... character that we get to see surprisingly little of due to being one of his autonomous creations and the quest mechanics themselves, lets change things up with either a Metal Sonic going through his most interesting Character moments or a Ultron vs Antman scenario (Us vs tails)
