I doubt we'd be allowed to do that, unfortunately. As I said, if we're found by anyone but Eggman, we're probably gonna get reprogrammed to work for them while before they activate us.
Also, the whole "Metal Sonic absorbs things to power up" thing. Can you really see him not eating us to make himself smarter?
