Eventually, the humans shall discover the location of the moonbase by affixing a 1kg, bright green tracking device equipped with flashing light and beeper to Zaiyu's leg, which he will fail to notice until someone points out out it is neither fuzzy nor dangling.
 
I'm not certain on the room decor, but I know a narrative when I see one.

Firstly, I adore that this is a story where this can be a casual opening sentence and it makes complete sense.

I like plants, I like Zaiyu getting attached to Earth. Additionally it's a way to snub Mitl.

I am ride or die with Kyoko. The dear, sweet girl deserves some positive reinforcement in her life.

This is Kyoko. She's no Shallow Princess. She says somethings wrong, we trust her.

We can plan an impromptu wedding and catch them that way. :V
 
Speaking of Tomoe again, I think its likely she may appear this time even if its at the end of whole thing. Kyoko isnt stupid and unless there's something blocking communication she may have already called Tomoe for help. Now I wonder if Kyoko already mentioned Kai to her... I mean two boys with a broken arm nearby magic incidents...

So what is going on here? Something is mind controling people but what is the goal? If its Sakurasakura organization why they are doing this? Are they searching for Kyoko or someone with magic? Could be a monster going rogue? Its another thing at play here?

"I trust Kyoko. She has a good head on her shoulders, and a cute face too now that I think about it."

-kyoko embarrassed gibberish noices-

"Right. That makes almost too much sense. Alright love birds, lets get down to the bottom of this."
 
Good news is that his identity as a prodigal alien with vast expertise in magical stuff hasn't been blown—because surely someone like that would have amazing abilities of perception. :D Kai Tendo is definitely a normal human being.
