Aiding the E.G.G.M.A.N. (Sonic)

yeah, but this is Eggman. he's incredibly stubborn and pointlessly cruel, we'd need to be extremely convincing to get him to change his mind on anything much less how he rules.

We are still in the transition between his classic and modern mindsets and as generations has shown us there are some pretty big divisions between them in certain areas. Classic was quite willing to play along with the narrative that sonic was the bad guy in 3&k until his death Egg fell back down again and he needed the master emerald to jumpstart the thing on short notice and decided to end the unsuccessful partnership.

We could potentially do adjustments to general administration and other "busy work" under the guise of freeing up the doctor for more important matters.

Also stroke his Ego and play on his hatred to sonic by getting them to bask in his greatness making people idolize him and his creations instead of sonic possibly getting them to also hold disdain for the blue rat in the processes.

And mentioning if we make sonic a martyr he will still be a thorn in our side even in death and killing the peoples faith in him first will nip that problem in the bud might help.

But I will concide that convincing the good doctor will be the hard part.

So that means we need to complete whims which will increase Eggmans trust in us that and humiliating sonic and co.

Looks like we're fortifying it more.

The best offense is a crushing defense cause we are the wall and we shall fall upon G.U.N!

More Fortification
[x] More Fortification

Well if the base is yours to work with.

… you are going to fortify the position further.

It will become a spiky torrent of pain and misery to anyone that would dare to try and pierce it's many defenses.

Especially that infernal fox!

You 40 points to spend
[ ] Outer Walls 2: An additional set of outer walls to make the base harder to break into. 5 Points, requires 1.
[ ] Outer Walls 3: An additional set of outer walls to make the base harder to break into. 5 Points, requires 2.
[ ] Mummy Pawns: Egg Pawns with wrappings around them that allow them to take a few extra hits before being destroyed. 5 Points.
[ ] Egg Coffin: Large coffin shape badnicks with rockets for arial maneuverability they drop Egg Pawn variants into battle… but can only transport one at a time and thus must make frequent trips. 5 Points.
[ ] Moto Scarab: A motobug with greater armor and a wheel specialized for sandy environments… still mostly just rams things though. 5 Points.
[ ] Sand Pawns: Egg Pawns specalized to work in sandy environments… Their specialized camouflage makes them almost invisible when fighting in said sandy environments. 5 Points.
[ ] Sand Flappers: Flappers that hide beneath the quicksand they emerge when an enemy is near and sprey them with machinegun rounds. 5 Points.
[ ] Sandy Scorpions: Badnicks with buzz saws for claws and a sandblower built into the tail, they are more durable than average. 10 Points, player suggestion.
[ ] Sand Sharks: Shark like badnicks… that swim in sand instead of water, daily self explanatory. 5 Points.
[ ] Pyramid Defender: A giant robot with dual laser cannons, it rests beneath the sand until activated. 20 Points.

OOC: Same as before with omake bonuses.

Let's make it a pain. XD

Of course we need a giant robot to defend us. Darn, there are a couple of good ones to choose from. Also we can use some of the badniks for later date.

Another set of walls to ensure they don't immediately get in, our pawns becoming hard to see defenders like they're Fremen fighters, and scorpion tanks to hold the line, before a big robot to rise up and smash into them once they're good and stuck in trying to get past the second wall!

Okay, lessee here... I want the scorpions, and the Pyramid Defender seems like an impromptu boss, which sounds good...

Good enough for me, I guess.

Got the research sheet updated with the winning fortification options from the last vote and the new options from this vote.

[X] May all return to the sands...

I like having maximum walls.
