Dungeon Crawler You!

Voting is open for the next 2 days, 10 hours
Only one of them has a (Drew) vote at all, and two of them voted on Thursday. I'm still going to wait a little to get arguments, but I am now leaning towards tagging at least the four that haven't voted for Drew.

I'm much more hesitant about tagging the one still voting for TV Psychic.

Though do consider: One error by drew (like doing anything that would be considered "unarmed attack" or "attack with a weapon") and drews magic is blocked for 30h. (and stat and spell level loss)
If he is the only one doing fighting magic and gets a 30h block... That could turn into a situation where a party member dies. (We know it won't lead to TPK since Taylor has plot armor, but i hate relying on that)

Wiz Sup puts all our eggs in one perpetually stoned basket. If we have the mystic scholar before hand we can share drews spells around, so that they can pick up some slack if Drew get magic-blocked.

Personally I'd say NPC is a subset of mobs.

No, drew will have a very strong front line of Moose, Leo and teleporting Taylor. He will do just fine running around in a bathrobe with his pipe, and hell that'll be quite the look, he could actually start building his brand. We want to be done dealing with the debuff as quickly as possible, and every floor gets longer. This is the best opportunity to take wizard supe, and maximizes the value we can give to moose.

Ok.

@Koden @thefoolswriter @unrex @cloudofgods

All four of you voted for Plan Catkin Leo. It is currently technically tied for the winning plan.

However, what everyone missed in the initial few days of voting is that Drew gets to use Character Actor this Floor, so our vote needs to include his temporary Class too. Eaglejarl has been nice enough to allow us to vote for Drew's Class separately, and if a plan without a Drew vote and a separate (Drew) vote are both higher than plans that cover all three PCs, they'll still win. The highest (Drew) vote is currently 2 votes behind the tie between Catkin Leo and Moose In A Time Cube, meaning the Plan you are currently supporting will lose even though it's tied for first place. On the other hand, as I currently understand it, if a (Drew) specific vote overtakes the plans that cover Taylor and Leo, a tie between a plan that covers Drew and one that doesn't underneath that leading vote will end with the one that doesn't cover Drew winning in order to combine with the actual leading vote.

TLDR: If we want Catkin Leo to win, we need three more votes for [ ] (Drew) Wizard Supremacist, and the four of you aren't currently engaging in the (Drew) vote at all. You may also want to check out the competing plan that tied with it to see if you change your mind and prefer that one.

maximizes the value we can give to moose.
Can you expand on what you mean by this? Moose only needs the 2 points of int to be able to get his race and class, so the extra int points would only be going towards class and race requirements for int based classes and races, which I don't think is something we're looking for for Moose. Unless there's something I'm missing?

I thiiink it probably influences mana cap? I still prefer being able to manufacture spellbooks early.

"The third floor, where you are now, is called the Overcity. It's a collection of towns and cities connected by roads, with huge expanses of ruins scattered about. You'll be under open sky and you'll need to worry about weather. The dominant species this season appears to be skyfowl—humanoid birds about the size of a human—with other sapients serving as an underclass. Skyfowl are territorial and xenophobic, so keep that in mind. They also tend to have strong magic users and dangerous high-mobility fighters.
Considering above quote, not having dungeon-weapon/spell ranged capabilities on everyone makes me nervous.
With Mystic Scholar we can pass spells around try to fight ground enemies first, to get our fireballs and co up so we can atleast drive off air attacks without needing Drew to be 100% capable at all times.

I'm sure Levi also has at least one ranged spell to toss our way.

There is a catkin plan that can work for getting Moose a class.
[X] Catkin/Scholar + Moose class
-[X]Taylor: Multacorporan Sysop
-[X]Leo: Catkin Jinette
-[X]Drew: Mystic Scholar
Calliope with Jinete as her class.
Noticed it didn't add to the original vote for some reason...

Ha. Yes, obviously I care about what Race they end up picking. But I would support literally any winning plan that has Sysop+Wheeler Dealer. Maybe even over getting Moose a Class, if necessary. I'm just focusing on the one I prefer when all leading plans fit that requirement.

If Moose gets at least +2 Int before leaving this room then he becomes sapient and gets to choose a class and race. He can get that in various ways, one of which is to have Drew take Wizard Supremacist as his third-floor class and then copy the WS +20 Int bonus over to Moose. The 18 extra points of Int would mean:

  • He has an additional 18 mana to power whatever abilities he ends up with
  • He probably qualifies for more and/or better races/classes
  • He's smarter. He does better at solving problems, figuring things out, etc.

For some reason I got the idea that the copied actionable would be temporary, which I have no idea how I got. I see the possible benefits now, but I still prefer Time Cube

Summary:

The currently winning plan is this:
[X] Moose in a Time Cube
-Taylor: Multacorporan Sysop
-Leo: Chronan Wheeler Dealer
-Drew: Mystic Scholar

Best chance to defeat it would be:
1 more person:
[X] Plan Catkin Leo
-[X] Leo: Catkin Wheeler Dealer
-[X] Taylor: Multicorpalan Sysop

3 more people:
[X] Drew: Wizard supremacist
Don't forget to remove the Xs from this post, it's getting counted rn

Ngl sorta checked out after dragon dreams where destroyed. But this seems like a fairly good option

[X] (Drew) Wizard Supremacist
