[X] Plan: I've got Gloves now!
-[X] Salvaged Warp Glove – despite your trepidation, it does seem to be perfectly legal. Of course, there's no such thing as something this good ever existing at this low a price. Effect: When Attacking, if you roll a 6 on your 2d6, you deal an extra +5 Damage. However, if you roll a 1 on your 2d6, inflict 5 Damage to Self. Damage from glove ignores armor. Cost: 1,000,000 Ahn.
-[X] Gun-Glove (Wearable) – product of the SilverSteel Workshop. One of the few Workshops involving Guns that Mao seems to frequent – even though it's a gun, it's only usable in punch-range. It's part of the reason why it's cheap and hasn't been sold – it is still expensive, though Mao's more than willing to foot the bill. That being said, you have to buy your own bullets. Effect: +4 Damage per Shot. Uses Melee instead of Ranged. Requires Bullet. Cost: 4,999,999 Ahn. 100,000 Ahn per Bullet. Can only Carry 12 at Maximum per Outing.
--[X] 1 Bullet
This difference is so small that I'd argue that the warp glove votes and this plan that can only afford up to 2 bullets anyway should be rolled together in terms of "weight" and then let the majority of that decide whether bullets are bought or not if the combined wins. Really, that's probably how it should go for any buy + bullet plan sans the organ one.

... If that's not too much of a pain for you, @SoothingCoffee. I'm, uhh, really hoping that organ doesn't win, and it happening due to beating a technical majority would sting for me.

Haven't decided yet. If we permanently become not-Lily from the "dragon heart" (would we be called Snapdragon?) that would be a wrench in the plans of trying to keep Kai from Mama Polar Bear.

Edit: Almost forgot. We don't need, you know, a Gun License to legally use those gun gloves, right?

Wow rude.

Organ thoroughly spooks me to the point where thinking on it more makes go "Yeah, maybe this isnt the BEST idea".
Maybe later when we actually are in a safe spot to take it, but right now? Nope.

[X] Plan Free (Not Including the Cost of Bullets)

I think this is too many bullets but I do want both so it'll have to do.

I have to come back to this to go over everything but there is a question I need to ask.

[] Salvaged Warp Glove – despite your trepidation, it does seem to be perfectly legal. "When Attacking, if you roll a 6 on your 2d6, you deal an extra +5 Damage. However, if you roll a 1 on your 2d6, inflict 5 Damage to Self."

Does the extra damage happen even if the attack fails? Because that would be some extra special piercing damage and convince me to take the gamble. A chance to get around clashing would be a fair trade for backfire damage, even if it is random.

Approval voting this cause I want to make sure we get the gun glove and don't take the implant cause Lily doesn't need help in being a dragon. Also kind of preferring not to get the Warp Glove cause that's 1/6 of our HP every time it misfires potentially 1/3 in a single round if we snake eyes. That's way too swingy for my like.

My real plan that I know isn't going to get many votes but I want to try anyways. Having the 7 minutes is going to be really good for having a get out alive card if we ever get over our head. Ideally we'll never need to use it but better to have it and not need it and then need it and not have it as they say. Having a safety net is a huge deal in this business so I really want it. Then I also want the gun gloves cause it's just awesome and the kill securing with that +5 damage is nice. It's expensive and nearly empties our bank to buy both but in the worst case I would rather have 7 minutes and 3 bullets than more money especially since if we use both of them at the same time that means Lily is throwing around +12 damage which is no fucking joke. Could probably do like half the health bar of the main urban plague target if we throw everything we have at it.

Yeah... I probably could've worded that better. Sorry for any offence felt; I don't mean to insult anyone voting for organ, nor the plan for glove + bullet (I can see how that was interpreted as demeaning, my bad). I would prefer any other option winning to Organ, even warp glove. That's just me, though. If organ does win, then all I can do is accept it. Same for any other vote.

Anyway, I should've gone to bed hours ago. I'll probably re-vote after seeing how things have gone after a day or two.

[X] Plan 7 +3 = Kill
I feel like we're going to need that 777 to survive this coming fight. Urban Plague is way above our pay grade. Even if we don't need it, then being able to punch far above our weight for a fight is going to be invaluable.

Must have organ to transcend the hunt...

I don't like this plan because I think the Warp Glove will kill us extremely fast when we rely on the Temp HP our clothes give us to tank, and the Warp Glove eats that Temp HP constantly.

I think going to zero Ego is, potentially, worse than dying.

Frankly, what scares me about the Organ is that part of the Cost is Yourself. Basically telling us we lose ourselves if we take it. A minor power up is not worth a permanent -2 to Ego.

Then maybe just vote for the Gun-Glove with 6 bullets, it is the winning vote right now.
If we had Technology trained up, the warp glove might be worth it since we might repair it, but that's at 0, so it would probably end up blowing up in our face eventually.

Y'know what, If this job is as dangerous as hell, may as well go all in on boosts. Money is useless if you die.

Dont think the Seeds are worth it and full bloodborne is a good aesthetic.

it doesnt say permanent and there's a question mark there.

I've added 7 + 3 as an approval vote, even if I'd prefer the Warp Gloves.

Because again, getting access to a Singularity for one million is insane. We can absolutely mod that to be better over time, but getting a non-scuffed version is in the hundreds of millions of Ahn, it's nuts.

But yeah, I absolutely agree that the seed is cursed as fuck.

Afraid not. You still have to win the clash.
Ah, I assume so but I had to make sure.

I do not have the time to think everything over now but current thoughts are like this:

-The Sevens. One time use but bloody strong. It does not help to win clashes but will keep us alive with that armor/resist. I like this option.
-The Warp. RNG armor piercing but with backfire. 5 damage is a pretty good-sized chunk of health off on anybody, including ourselves. Good aesthetic but man do I dislike gambling with our life.
-The Dragon Organ. Strong, really strong. That -2 Ego though makes me hesitate. Again, good aesthetic but we have no bloody sanity. It is free though so I suggest taking it with something else if you want to take this.
-The Vest. No real need for damage reduction so this will be a +1 to damage most of the time but the choice is nice. Meh.
-The Gun. Auto take, Lily's tab for Mao is increasing but we love/hate you Mao. how much ammo we have depends on other choices, still might be a good idea to grab something else with this.
-The Tattoo. Do this later with more money, I want to see what this guy can do with more money.

Man, now I'm wishing we had a memorandum. This vote is shockingly fierce and I'd like time to talk people around.

I do not exactly agree with going with the Organ but I have more time than I believed so I will give some extra thoughts on it.

First off, my problems are mostly mechanically than narrative. Having a skill at 0 should be mostly fine, it has problems sure, but we should be fine. Fine with the mystery box as well. Mechanically the Organ is very strong, with an overall +3 to skills at the cost of a -2 to one skill. This is the only thing available that can actually help with winning clashes the rest are just making the most of what clashes you do win (fail in the case of armor). Like what is brought up with the Warp Gloves, we might be able to evolve them down the line. This might be better suited for us since this is more fleshy than anything possibly involving our Technology skill.

The issue I do have comes from this hits our mental resistance skill, which may be a problem since we are a physical tank. We have no sanity buffer. This is also coming with the fact we are about to go into a Distrion fight the mind controls people. However, I think we are going after the adds rather than the big guy himself. We can also take the Sevens pill to cover any sanity damage if we do get into a fight with him.

Wallet: 1,103,150 Ahn
Whatever we pick it's piggy-shattering time.
- Pay Rent: Collect Eight-Hundred-Thousand Ahn for your Monthly Pay Rent. Failure leads to either homelessness, or Favors to Landlord Lin.
- Pay Your Tax or Else – Pay 500,000 Ahn monthly. Failure to pay will induce penalty from The Head. Failure to pay three times, and the Head will visit you. This Goal will last as long as the Head exist
@SoothingCoffee When does this come due?

Well, lets hope we get a decent cut of this job. Else we're gonna feel it.
[] 'Seven Minutes of Heaven, Seven Hours of Purgatory, and Seven Days of Hell' Seed – a seed product 'cultivated' by the Beanstalk Pharmacy. Consumable. Effect: for your next 7 'Turns', you receive +7 Damage, +7 Mental Resist, and +7 Armor Resist. However, for the rest of the Week, after the Mission, your health will be stuck in an 'Injured' State. Cost: 777,777 Ahn.
If nothing else it'll mean we can throw down for a few turns. The difference between winning and losing, more or less.
[] Salvaged Warp Glove – despite your trepidation, it does seem to be perfectly legal.
Now, this is what interests me in particular. It's a trade of health for damage effectively, but one Lily in particular is suited for. Especially if she's fighting fodder or can slip it off and into a pocket when she doesn't need the edge. Sure, there might be a few limits to it, but as a long term project?

This has potential.
[] Strange Organ Transplant (Augment) – Doctor Nyorau, according to Mao, is apparently a Master of actual repute, and you're only able to afford this because it's both highly experimental, and the payment that he seeks is to see what change this brings you. He's a Master of Hybridization Augmentation – a way of strengthening someone through adding traits from other beings into you. This is incredibly, incredibly suspect. Effect: +1 to Melee: What, +1 to Endurance: Are, and +1 to Instinct: You?. -2 to Ego: Not Yourself. ???. Cost: Nothing. Yourself?
Not the first time we've been offered to be a dragon. Worrisome. Very Worrisome. This is the straight and not very long road to a bad end.

Mao's interest is the only thing that makes me think taking it might not be the absolute worst case scenario. That would be Mao taking it.

Either way. Fucking don't.
[] Bionic Muscle Vest (Wearable) – a product of the Wayang Workshop. A 'simple' vest that works by… connecting itself into your nerve's muscles? Or something? Anyway, it apparently reorganizes your muscles in a way that would make you stronger or tougher. It works, at least. Effect: At Start of Battle, you can choose to either increase your Damage or Armor by 1. Cost: 1,000,500 Ahn.
Boring. But practical. And practical's good.
[] Gun-Glove (Wearable) – product of the SilverSteel Workshop.
-[] How many Bullets to Buy?
Social ramifications aside, it's a solid burst of damage for a decently low cost. I just don't want the temptation of overusing it in a hard fight to push us into the red.
[] Tattoo (Augment) – alternatively, you could always go for a tattoo. It looks like the artist is giving you a discount for your first tattoo ever, though they do look a little disappointed at the one mil thing. But you should manage. Effect: Flat +1 Damage. Cool Tats. Stylish. Cost: 999,999 Ahn.
-[] Where and What's the Tattoo
Only advantage over the Bionic Vest is a slight discount and not taking up an equipment slot.

In any case,

[X] Gun-Glove (Wearable)
