[X] Plan Enigma Site 3 Before Winter?

Because the invaders will be back for that ship sooner or later, most likely sooner.

Headlines from the INDEX verse

Jan 05/2015- The formation of INDEX:

In light of the Socking series of attacks by what's conformed to be "Alien" forces and the subsequent successful interception and destruction of one of the spacecraft over the Welsh coastline in an event that's locals called the "cwymp-draig" (lit: Dragon-fall), an alliance of 16 nations have ratified the formation and support of a multinational anti-alien task force known as INDEX headed by Commander Ambrosius, who's currently facing minor controversy today due to his choice of appointing Farah Tariq as chief financial director...

Feb 25/2015- Index Recruitment Drive:
The INDEX Has started a recruitment drive in anticipation of the rapid expansion of the index bases around the globe. This recruitment campaign has already borne fruit with the announcement of Doctor Tanya Dragomirov transfer to INDEX's Delta site. Dr Dragomirov is well regarded in many scientific circles as a renaissance woman who's knowledgeable and skilled in a wide variety of scientific fields...

Mar 10/2015 -Russia Scalies back INDEX funding:
In a shocking turn of events, Russa has announced that they are scaling back funding to INDEX. When asked for any reason for the sudden announcement president Valdamare Putin has stated that he believes that INDEX is "unproven" and any financial support they could provide at the current time is more suitable for improving domestic response to future alien threats and assured people that Russia isn't withdrawing they position on the funding council, This hasn't dispelled unfounded rumours of that the Scale back of Russia's support is a fallout of backroom politics and that Russia may be planning to form a Domestic Version of INDEX. In brighter news, US President Obama has assigned serval teams of DARPA engineers to work with INDEX despite the ongoing controversy with Farah Tariq...

Apr 07/2015 -Aftermath of the Wuhan Masscure:
China is still reeling from the unannounced alien attack last night as search teams scoured the remains of Wuhan for survivors. This devastating scene is the result of a sudden appearance of an alien armada intent on bombarding the city despite the valiant efforts of the local PLA garrison to fight them off. While the goal of this attack remains elusive the damage they inflicted on this city is not as hundreds of residents are left homeless. The station would have been worse if not for the timely assistance of INDEX with disaster relief and medical assistance, though the Chinese are urging them to build up a presence near the mainland...

May 15/2015 -Britsh hands Mount Pleasant to INDEX:
In a surprising turn of events, the British government has announced that they are handing control of RAF Mount Pleasant along with Mare Harbour to act as INDEX's Bravo Base. This Base will greatly assist in future INDEX operations in South America, though at the current time a detachment of the RAF base personnel lead by Gen. Arthur Davies will remain to help INDEX personnel get used to the operations of the base and assist with security...

Jul 10/2015 -INDEX Establishes Echo Base
After some difficulty with securing building space Echo base is finally built. While this base is primarily focused on Research and Weapons development with last-minute additions of expanded barracks and armoury to house additional security personnel to safeguard the base from future alien attacks on the Scale of the Wuhan Masscure and as part of INDEX's promise to the Chinese government to establish a military presence near the mainland...

Aug 15/2015 -Elon musk hints at future INDEX/Space-X collaboration.
Recently the Eccentric Venture capitalist Elon musk has announced in a sting Tweets the sale of one of Space-X's production facilities is sold to INDEX. In the tweet Musk also indicated that he and by extension Space-X would assist INDEX in any future projects Needing space-lift capabilities and offered to design new equipment for INDEX. Among those proposals is an armed version of the Starship as an orbit to ground support platform, an unmanned space fighter code-named the "X-wing" and the "Spartan" combat spacesuit. At the time of writing, INDEX hasn't officially issued a reply to those tweets.

Sep 20/2015 -Inside Scoop on INDEX Global Earth Defence Conference
Today the Global Earth Defence Conference (GEDC) has concluded, for those who are isn't up to date in current Xeno defence news, the GEDC is a private Conference Organized by INDEX and attended by many high ranking members of the funding council to provide them previews for future developments in various aspects of the organisation. Now Despite the private nature of the event one of the event staff are open to interviews with us and they hinted at some interesting developments.

Our first news from the Conference is the Planned construction of the Alpha and Charlie bases in both Amerca and Panama respectably, this ensures that INDEX has a total global coverage for the foreseeable future, while deftly interesting it isn't as exciting as what they have to tell us about INDEX's finalized designs for two aircraft code-named Redtail and Roc, a dedicated anti-UFO interceptor and a near-supersonic troop transport respectably. According to the staff, the Redtail is described as an unholy lovechild between the F-22 "Raptor" and MiG-25 "Foxbat" designed for high speed and firepower with little regard to stealth under the assumption that the Aliens can defeat any earth-based stealth coating so it has to rely on its long-range radar to find and shoot the UFO before it can counter attack. Meanwhile, the Roc is a high-speed Troop transport that can carry a dozen spec ops troops at supersonic speeds from America to China under 3 hours, Unfroutunly that speed comes at a cost of no defensive weapons so it's defenceless to interception.

That information lines up with the leaks precautions posted on 4chan and Reddit...

AN: This is my attempt at making a Rumor mill style Omake that provides additional world-building. Whether or not The contents of those posts are cannon up to the GM's digression.

You know, the Crit Effect is interesting.

Before seeing the progress on things, looking over the rolls I was wincing here and there, being thankful for tip toeing around crit fails at the very least, thinking "A rough set of rolls so far, but we're getting through."

And then I saw the Destroyer and thought "A nice upswing."

And then I saw the Light Carrier, scrolled down to check for Crit Fails, scrolled up, and thought "Excellent Turn, GG no re."

And then we look at the Math Post, and while Charlie and Alien Mats are a shame, all in all we got everything we could have reasonably expected to get done, done, with a Crit in a key piece of military infrastructure as well.

Alright, looking at stuff:
-Infra: Gonna need 1 more die on Charlie, then I think the plan was to rush Enigma?
-Industry: Cool, more stockpiles. Gonna see if we can continue to push up our lowest indicators.
-Services: Yay, more PR. Continuing to chase the overflow.
-Research: Sucks that it didn't finish but Oh Well. Gonna need a couple more dice on Alien Materials and C-Class UFOs. What alien tech are people excited to go after next? Maybe Alien Power Sources and Engines?
-Military: IFV wrapup, otherwise we're gonna need a look at the Resultspost to see what we might want to focus on next. Preliminary thoughts are "if we have to build Carrier yards then those" and "Combat helicopters maybe?"
-Admin: Unless there's something else the next Security Reviews are going to be Industry, Services, and Administration, since those are the three we didn't sweep last turn.

I still want to try to go for Helicarriers, so I am going to try to go for researches that point in that direction.

Space carriers are good if you are winning the alien invasions. But submersible carriers may be more desirable if you begin to lose the invasions and you have to become a guerrilla resistance movement as the aliens dominate more of the planet.
