Indeed
This is the iron marshal we are talking about.
Ah. Military and/or Command skills?
Both.
Truly a great Marshall of France in the making. Put him in the centre
Well depending on what he has, one of the flanks will do.
Have him train troops.
Considering he made 3 corps about as good as the guard? Oh yeah
Is he seeing anyone at the moment?
At the moment, no

Also to be warned: the unknown DC that you must pass for parsha is either an escape/kidnapping roll, a death roll, or a loyalty roll

Oh dear. I may change that in the personal (Horseshoes) plan... if anyone has another preference?
Any modifier for previous crit on that?

Two part plan:
Army
[] Pack your Saddle Bags
Personal
[] A Love of Horse Shoes

I was asking about the saving throw for our "translator" not doing whatever.
So I hope that applies to escape, kidnap, death and (dis)loyalty.

Keep your friends close...
Well, each option is a corresponding... event of either good or ill.

If it's good... then yay!

If it's bad... prepare for trouble.

So... I always wondered how Therese would react to becoming a Marshel... in fact I wrote an omake that I might post tonight if you all ask for it.

She probably wouldn't take it very well considering that it would mean the death of the republic.

and one-more little question?

If I gave you all the chance start a civil war in France... for whatever reason(though either trying to save the republic or something else)... would you do so?

I mean, that kinda depends on the Reason.

What would be a just cause for to take up Arms against our Countrymen? A Takeover by the Royalists? The Directory outright betraying us and ordering our death instead of someone within the Government just subtly trying to sabotage us? Someone else taking over the Republic just for Power?

My personal answer is yes...but only under REALLY dire circumstances. Like, when all that the Revolution achieved would be placed in greater jeopardy by not doing it then by doing it. Otherwise? I'd really rather not.

That is something entirely up to you.

Brian deciding he's sick of Napoleons shit and counter coups him?

the royalist proclaiming that Louis is king and decide that the best reaction is the Stalin Purges reaction?

the revolutionaries deciding that there is no more room for even potential royalists and decide to execute everyone with supposed nobleblood in their veins (that includes Napoleon, Davout, Dumas and many many others)?

the possibilities are near endless.
A Takeover by the Royalists? The
A possibility but they might accept you into the new regime quite willingly.
The Directory outright betraying us and ordering our death instead of someone within the Government just subtly trying to sabotage us
Now that is something I would blatantly put just to throw a red Harding.
Someone else taking over the Republic just for Power
Looks at Napoleon...

yeah.

Well make a choice or have someone make the choice for you, that's what I say.
Nah, some things are necessary and there's enough French blood spilled anyway.
Well considering how... tame we've been so far for the sake of mental health on our end... we'd attempt something... drastic if we felt good enough.
well I for one would be all for revolution over our character dieing(or just running to america or something if there stable).
So... revolution 2 electric boogaloo... groovy.

I'm a little bit surprised with such few votes being offered up or voted on.

I'd be amazed if Bags for Egypt doesn't get it now. May as well plan on that basis.
I think people are pretty sure we have enough cavalry.
