Tiberium Storm (A Mass Effect and Command and Conquer AU Xover)

Do you guys want Turn 1 to take place at 2112 or 2152 like in canon?

Tiberium fuelled atomic assembly rapid fabrication tech
Likely no. Also will not have an effect in this quest due to the blockade/quarantine of tiberium.
personal shields capable of blocking all weapons both DEW, and projectile up to light tank guns.
Firestorm shielding?
infantry scale DEW weapons
We likely already have those anyways. Power armor from zone trooper armor advances, laser from both GDI and Nod databases/tech bases.
, cybernetic and mutant, or genetically engineered soldiers with biological augments and cybernetics.
Perhaps? Depends on the specifics and general policies
Short range teleport
I don't think so.

The time that the game takes place in the QM's timeline (here) is also important.

@Warmach1ne32 , Care to comment about this?

question for gm does humanity have something like Arcturus Station at this point and if so did we build it bigger or smaller as we would at this point way more experience building liveable space stations ( GDSS Philadelphia 2043 we had 1 that supported 1000 people) than our mass effect humans ( Gagarin Station 2143... spacestations sure like 43 anyway max pop just above 9000)
You assume it is nearly built, and would need a couple of years to put on the finishing touches, but you have heard that the Navy is already running Central Command from there. I'll let you guys suggest ideas on what to put in it but since it is going to be the base of operations for the Navy at a Nexus of Relays, assume GDI will make Arcturus as impenetrable as they could.
Will anything from the cancelled FPS "Tiberium" be included?
The biggest tech from Tiberium is the Werewolf Rifle, that Commando Armor for Jackson to command and fight in the field, Zone Armor designs, and Scrin unit designs for a future invasion.

It's in a gray area, corporations are the ones providing the service and GDI views genetic augments as fine. SA made genetic mods recommended to improve the soldier while they are in training. Cybernetics? GDI is fine with prosthesis but Cyberpunk level of integration is strictly regulated. Cyborgs nearly took over the world with Cabal after all. Mutants? are not allowed to leave Earth and possible spread Tiberium without a TCN. I remember that they need Tiberium Radiation to survive so naval deployments are out of the question.
Future Tech got a 30 year contract to study Scrin technology for GDI with GDI oversight. The Scrin Wormhole technology could be the key to teleportation ala Chronoshpere.

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!
PANIC PANIC PANIC --BLAM--

Okay, what did FutureTech do in this timeline?
Also:
Scrin unit designs for a future invasion
Implies a future attack on our colony. We should get some sonic weaponry up and running.

I'll get started later. However, that sounds like one of the central FOB for the Interstitial command and a major garrison point for the Home command (second largest to Earth).
There should also be plenty of long range sensors and orbital weapon stations (around bodies (planet) in the system, the relays, and the star) and a small network of these stealth ships(with gap generators if applicable) (these sorts of ships are very hard to maintain and easily die btw, which is why GDI does not sprinkle them everywhere) to act as additional "ambush points".

Won a contract to study Scrin technology for GDI while they focus on building a navy, colonial Empire, and studying eezo. GDI wanted to outsource the research so they put out a bid, Future Tech won that bid. Future Tech is the developer of the Spectrum Laser Defense system, Mirage Stealth Tank, and Pacifier as a cheaper alternative to GDI's Juggernaut and Rhino. With that resume, GDI is fairly confident Future Tech can make something out of Scrin tech.

Nah it's for when after this quest finishes and I start Shepard's quest in this universe.

GDI is researching Stealthed ships like Normandy but it is still in the design and blueprint stage.

Yes but the hydrogen steamers are still difficult to detect, especially from the viewpoint of the attacker. If they are deployed correctly, the first sign of their presence is the weapons fire. Also , the tech can be done at our current level (if we decided that bankrupting the world to push for the needed infrastructure which the GDI has is worth it).

I just realized that if you make the sonic cannon it would melt any infantry it hits. Mass effect shields don't block sound and the organs on anything would be pulped. And most vehicles belonging to the citadel are made up of advanced light armor to save on weight like the Bradly uses aluminum for armor. I believe so human heavy tanks are a complete counter to all but orbital bombardment. I honestly think the crews inside citadel vehicles would be killed instantly. When hit with a sonic cannon. But this is my thinking.

You are almost right on all of it. Citadel Tanks still pack a punch and repeated impacts will weaken the armor to crack the hull. You are right about everything else. I mentioned sonics being effective against Citadel multiple times in between chapter updates.

Alright I have some time on my hands so I can get started on an Informational Lore post. What do you guys want to know about?

Anything works for me. Go ask the others (Seriously everyone, don't let me dominate the conversation).

Will you have the juggernaut load high explosive to wipe out any infantry you have snipers and the rounds fired are 200mm+.
High explosives are the best way to kill troops who have mass effect shields and the fights in mass effect always end up being close combat making them more effective. your snipers will need say 2 snipers per trooper 1 round take out shields and 2 kill soldier.
Citadel vehicles fire slugs that I would say is a 20-30 mil in size and hits like a say 50-60 mil. I haven't played mass effect this is just my take on watching videos and looking at the mako.

Or design a modified gun that shoots 2 bullets, one optimized to take down the barrier and the other is the kill shot. Sniper lines up the kill shot's trajectory, fires, the shieldbreaker gets launched just ahead of the kill shot. Shieldbreaker does it's job and the kill shot follows up soon.

You can modify your artillery however you like. Double Barreled railguns is possible its just that no one saw any reason to when a single barrel is enough. Yeah I'll just assume that Citadel vehicles are just C&C3 era railguns.

Citadel vehicles will more than likely be able to kill any light vehicles like a knife through butter but it will be the same in return. Only through surprise/ ambush will the medium tanks be knocked out if a mammoth tank was shot at by a citadel vehicle it would likely be like firing a 50 cal machingun at a battleship armor plate in other words completely pointless and hopeless. The way the citadel forces fight is like a blitzkrieg fast and light forces they have no main battletank equivalent due to this if they run into a force that their forces can't kill quickly or efficiently they will use orbital bombardment. You need to neutralize this because they Will just raze/level a city to destroy a foe. And due to the fact they can load a block of metal and get thousands of rounds per block they can fire for hours to days and not run out of ammo.
This style of fighting is because of the weight limit a mass effect ship can carry. they can't ship a mobile factory that can build a tank battlion in a day like you. And unless they call for reinforcements that will be the forces you will fight.

Sorry I am just rambling now and am in no way trying to criticize you it literally just got away from me. I'm way too excited about this fic.

Like the pillar of autumn mac cannon fired 3 rounds right?

Hmm are we unable to farm if we choose coast first I wonder? Anyway, we probably either have to quickly establish self sustainability and food first or industry and mining so we can sell it for food I guess? Based of the choices

I'm voting Valley.

I'm more of a Noddy than GDI guy, but going full Metro and Fortress Cities in each Mountain is a good call.

F it, nothing is happening so I'll just open the Vote now. Vote will close in 48 hours.

I am also letting you guys pick a topic about this universe you want to have an Informational Lore post on.
