Self Moving suit + anime means an attempted and overly elaborate transformation sequence, which given this is still Spiderman, turns into a quick montage of Liv getting bullied by her suit.

We have never met a Taylor Hebert fictive, and now we're morbidly curious.

And you are right that the parallels are a bit uncanny stated like that, but it takes a ton of picking and choosing to get there. They are very different characters.

Oh, absolutely. The themes of the works are completely different, the characters are completely different, the powers are really not similar.

It's just, well, Taylor is a deconstruction of Spider-Man archetype, and Olivia is... well, also that, but in a different direction.

It's just we had her watch GATE, so I thought since we are throwing around ideas about how to hurt Olivia's ( technically open_sketch's, but eh ) brain more, might as well.

[X] It was a new version of your prosthetic arm, one which was stronger and could actually, convincingly hold the shape of a regular arm. Not that you needed that for day to day anything, but it meant you wouldn't have to switch arms to become Arachne, reducing the amount of shit you had to carry around for that. Your new steel arm would still be better, but this would do in a pinch.

KlK is just such a weird...thing. Gods but the fanservice nonsense is just so utterly unnecessary and if they just didn't have that in it, it would be so much easier to just enjoy it.

I mean, in fairness to the Bay transformers movies the hatred it has for female characters isn't actually special. It despises the male characters as well. Just, all of the characters are awful, and you're meant to hate every last one, and just what the fuck is wrong with Bay that these movies are so miserable and misanthropic. I need to dig out that 300 page pdf I found by a fan that tried to make the shittiness of the movies a plan by Bay as a commentary on modern action movies. It brought up the freaking lacanian real, so you know it was digging deep.

These three lines really sum up what KLK is for me. Love the costumes, kin the Satsuki, hate the forced uncomfortable bits in the first three episodes.

It wasn't a lot comparitively, but it'd make you a little stronger and reduce the impact of heavy lifting a little, which would give you more combat endurance. Also, weirdly and hilariously, it could move independently of you, you'd just have to puppet it every step with your tech sense and that'd suck.

Because paper-bag headed spider person has to show up somehow, and what better way than by Liv being super distracted mid-date as she tries to puppet her suit?

Hrm, on one hand, Athena, and a remote suit to drive in the world that isn't Liv and doesn't have sensory perception. On the other prosthetic, basic armor that doesn't take super strength to wear/use. And on the other, other prosthetic, less gear to lug around, with a more normal appearance, because why not.

I have no idea which to vote for.
