Souldn't the "war hero of Naboo" be in all caps?

Still illegal we can only talk to two people.[X] Give Pinagg some resources. (-1 Cost die for this project; +1 Company Trait: -50% Compartment Space for Weapons)
[X] Prime Minister LaVan, current head-of-planet of Temaris.
-[X] Talk about current political events
[X] Lord High-General Fenrox, commanding officer of the PDF and minister of defense
-[X] Talk about future projects
[X] General Binks, war hero of Naboo
-[X] Talk about future projects
Jar Jar Binks, provided he isn't a secret Sith Lord, maybe be an idiot but his position and stupidity should mean we can get him to spill alot of secrets.
Still deciding which general to talk to.
Though Naboo might be more interested working with plasma, considering the amount they have, being a major exporter of that stuff...I don't think Naboo will take the missile corvette idea at this juncture. they are still adjusting to having a real navy which means that the bean counters will be wary of a ship with higher ammo costs. I think they will want a laser/turbo laser boat because those guns are dirt cheap to shoot. they'll open up to it later on.
also i'm wondering if its too soon to push the VSC 2 series since the 1 series isn't even in the field yet and with how the votes are going we're gonna end up being able to massively boost its fire power in future varients.
i checked the wiki and those would operate like laser cannons or turbo lasers and have a bonus against shields.Though Naboo might be more interested working with plasma, considering the amount they have, being a major exporter of that stuff...
Which is why it is future project not the next one we want to do with them which is another version of the Corvette we are working on right now. The missile Corvette would be for after we have expanded as it will be an extra large frame and will only be a Corvette by size when the firepower it has would put it in frigate range. Same as the Marauder is actually a frigate despite its size. When we move on to frigate sized ships the upsized Marauder load out and missiles would be a very good ship. Carries at least one if not two squadrons as well and it serves as a very good ship for any fleet.I don't think Naboo will take the missile corvette idea at this juncture. they are still adjusting to having a real navy which means that the bean counters will be wary of a ship with higher ammo costs. critical question: normal misses or Assault missiles?Which is why it is future project not the next one we want to do with them which is another version of the Corvette we are working on right now. Proton torpedoes, I would think. Especially if we're designing it to go to work on bigger ships.
Assault missles are cruise missle sized.Proton torpedoes, I would think. Especially if we're designing it to go to work on bigger ships.
For the Corvette mostly standard with a pair of assaults and the frigate with only assaults. We likely won't be able to get around using too many assault missiles on a Corvette with the Judicials just yet. Though if the size is good I say take the risk and roll the dice on it. The reduced size of the weapon slots going forward means we can very likely fit the majority of the weapons on that picture I am basing the Corvette off of.

Normal concussion missiles also tend to be stronger than proton torpedoes anyways. Plus they are a terror to fighters.
that isn't what it means. they aren't talking about submariners as we know them ships that go under the water. this is referring to invisible and stealth ships that serve the strategic role subs do in our world. There are Space Subs but those are usually Mon Cal or Quarren exclusive given their species physiology.
Well, there was the IPV-2C. Which was reasonably well-armed for such a small ship. Even with a cargo hold big enough for making impactful mercy missions, it had space for two dual laser cannon turrets, the entire stealth system and four proton torpedo launchers. Though apparently, the stealth systems are pretty ruinously expensive, and they're still not able to hide the magnetic signature.that isn't what it means. they aren't talking about submariners as we know them ships that go under the water. this is referring to invisible and stealth ships that serve the strategic role subs do in our world.
In this case it's a ship that goes into hyperspace and can not only stay there for an indefinite amount of time and not only stay stationary to a spot in real space but can actually track targets in real space and fight ships in real space without leaving hyperspace.
And if you got the only ships that can do that then everyone else is screwed in spacial combat cuz you might as well be a vengeful ghost.
im sure someone will figure out ASW technology after which the local equivalent of anti submarine frigates/cruisers will become ubiquitousThe joke would last until somebody else figured something similar. Eventually a lot of Toms, Dicks and Harrys would have access to that and shipping lanes would be *fucked*.
Indeed, why keep a navy beyond the bare minimum? There's only two types of ships to a submariner: other submarines and targets.
