New Good Seed and Omake Rule Updates
Good Seed and Omake Spreadsheet Rules:

Firstly, if you have questions about Good Seeds and the like please read here. If that doesn't answer your question please ping me in thread, or on Discord.

If you write a new Good Seed, or write an omake, please update the spreadsheet if you have access.

If you do not have access, please ping a collaborator (Swordomatic, Alectai, Quest, TehChron, Insane-Not-Crazy, Humbaba, ReaderOfFate, Kaboomatic, no., BungieONI) letting them know what you want and they will update the spreadsheet here. To gain access, you will need a gmail account of some kind. Throwaway emails are fine (I'm using one for the spreadsheet), but to gain access it's as simple as sending me either your email via PM, via DM in Discord, or just in Discord's #spreadsheet-requests channel.

This is mandatory. If a Good Seed does not record their omake by pinging collabs (or just requesting access and editing things themselves - this is the preferred option), I won't give out awards. If a new Good Seed is not recorded here, they won't advance. By doing this it makes the whole thing manageable for me - it's gotten pretty unwieldy!

Omake Writer Instructions:

There are four fields you need to fill out.

Omake Link, which is just a link to your first omake for the turn. This makes it easier for me to read them as I do the update - without this it's tough to know off the bat which omake were written this turn, and to properly

Requested Bonus, which is your requested bonus for your omake. You can leave it up to me if you like. You can see more info in the Good Seed infopost here.

Cultivation Aims. For those following unorthodox paths - higher than 9th Heavenstage or later than 7th Dao Pillar paths. Please put in what you are aiming for before you break through. I have left it as 'default'. If you do not edit it, I'll go with that.

Turn Notes - Do you want to do something specific? Enter a Secret Realm? Help the Clan out in some way? If you have something specific you want to accomplish on this turn, put it in turn notes so I can adjust your Fate around it.

All other fields are for QM use to record character information to properly run the flow of the game.

We just lost 30 of our core formation elders, if Euphrosyne doesn't survive her tribulation no one is going to pay because we're just done. We simply will not be able to resist our enemies anymore and it takes far longer than we have to raise new core formation cultivators.

Well, it does depend on how Foundation Establishment went.

Bear in mind that the Clan can raise roughly 20 Core Formation elders every 100 years, and raising 30 isn't out of the question provided there's a promising cohort of experts to draw from.

You don't need to raise them from scratch.

My vote is going to be for diplomacy. Not only is she our friend, but keeping people talking instead of attacking will be vital for our recovery. Everyone is important of course, but I think diplomacy might buy us the most time.

I'd assume that the our spymaster has the best chance of making it out on his own, and that our diplomat has a very small chance of getting away.

That said, I think that we are going to want to prevent the jackals from taking advantage of us in out weakened state. To that end, I think saving the diplomat is our best choice.

So is there a chance in hell that Euphrosyne survives her tribulation, or even succeeds?

Yes. If you were a betting man, I wouldn't say the odds were good, though. We're past trifecta territory and into superfecta territory here.

Let me be clear on this.

Anyone left in this tribulation is going to die unless Manuel saves them. They're out of Qi, unconscious or crippled, and basically done for.

I'm actually wondering how did he manage to kill so many people?

Shouldn't he be teleported out if he kills somebody out of his realm?

Well, at least we finally got rid of that one Shiny malus.

Jesus christ that was a disaster. More than half our Core Formation Elders wiped out despite the supposed rules of the Trails. I assume that either the Spirit-Severing guys were bribed to look away or were having too much fun watching us struggle futilely. They're also probably applauding Euphrosyne's use of her Tribulation Lightning to force that sick bastard to leave the trails.

It's not all bad news though. With this disaster gone through, the clan no longer has karmic bad luck so this is a chance to make a comeback if we survive the aftermath of the trials of course.

I'm really hoping that the casualties in our Foundation Establishment and Qi Condensation forces are comparatively light compare to this not-insignificant drop in power from the slaughter of our Core Formation Elders.

I really want to know what the exact deal was here with the Nine Prince and why he was targeted specifically?

Was there some kind of Karmic oath where the Naag was meant to be wiped out to obtain immense karmic benefits or else that sick bastard and the dynasty he belongs to would face great karmic punishment for failing to fulfil their oath?

And there's the Hammer we provoked.

Pros: We now have the Palace for stronger fundation level disciples, we have a Nascent Soul Flood Dragon, and Lady Jiao isn't working on her own nascent soul. Heaven's Curse has been removed.
Cons: We weren't able to defend or survive well enough, and we're now in a catastrophic situation with little money to get us out of the hole.

This wasn't a successful gamble. Let's struggle to survive the short-term, we don't have the luxury of considering the long-term now.

How long will the Wound last for? Only twenty years? Then it might be worth saving someone instead of crippling our nuclear deterrent.

Hopefully, the Braga person gets punished for this. He just went and destroyed the secret realm opportunity for every core formation on his side. So a lot of dynasties in the fifth sea is going to give him the stink eye for the next hundred years, and he didn't actually accomplish anything.

On a more positive note. Now I don't have to introduce the core formation character in charge of the legion Demetrius was assigned to, given how I can say she died off screen.

[X] Kleisthenes Sarantapechos - Your sole remaining friend and diplomat. She has lost a foot and could be carried out.

I'm going to vote for this because not only would Manuel need a friend after the disintegration of his able ruling council, we kinda need a diplomat the most for after the Trials. A good diplomat will have connections and bonds with their equivalent in other factions and we really cannot afford to rebuild these relationships with a new one considering the rest of our Council is gone.

At least for intrigue, at a pinch Manuel can do it since that was where he came from. And while the Disciple Trainer is a loss, we at least have the Palace to help mitigate that slightly

Personally my guess is that there's a self defense loophole because Formation can punch against their realm (It's just usually not worth it ) Probably something like if you hit like a Nascent Soul, you can be treated as one.

The sole thing is that Karmawise, we're good. So hopefully that helps. Only silver lining i can see here...

Daaaamn. Sooo glad I took Saving Juniors! I hope it helps the FE rolls somehow!

No, they're entirely here for us. The token is supposed to shatter automatically if they attack/kill someone of a lower level. From what lobe said in the A/N, I'm guessing Heaven directly intervened.

I'm not going to answer this question, but I will say that the answer is very plot-relevant in the long-term.

What I want to know is how the bastard managed to flatten our elders so quickly.

He flattened Manuel - who is vastly more experienced, on his home ground, and only has to shatter a single token as opposed to killing his enemy.

Killing a bunch of Core Formation elders even with a formation that lets them exchange blows with a Nascent Soul doesn't rate. Bhrigu is absurdly strong and once he pulled out his keyblade magical artifact he basically can hit indefinitely far harder than Manuel can. They're both of equivalent cultivation, but Manuel is tooling around with some neat stuf, Bhrigu's grandfather is late Spirit Severing and dotes on his grandson in terms of things like 'cool stuff to use in a fight'. Even things like 'fighting a war to prevent him being punished for kidnapping and rape', so you can imagine how good the stuff is.

I really need a disgusted or anger reaction for this. Best i can do is Informative.

Also sorry, just to clarify. If we make it past this turn, we're no longer affected Karmawise? So resourcewise we'll be without the debuff ?

Our Intrigue Elder, our Diplomacy Elder, our Disciples Elder or our action next turn?

[X] Staurakios Palaiologos - The stolid master of disciples. He is unwounded, but is unconscious.

We will at least have our Warmaster this turn and the Flood Dragon. We need to shoot up in strength as quickly as we can. We paid a very heavy price for the Palace, let's sink our costs.
