I think Coruscant would be better as an area for specialized training in diplomacy, with a permanent detachment of Consulars (Negotiators) and an official liaison to the Republic.

That said, I don't see Dantooine as a permanent HQ either. I see it in the future as one of many Crèches dotting the galaxy, a place for people to learn the basics and become a Padawan, then visit another training center to specialize (Coruscant for Diplomacy, Corellia for Vigilance, Tython for Wisdom, etc) before finally going out into the galaxy as a sort of Tempering process before Knighthood.

I like Dantooine. Dantooine is the good kind of boring, where everything is a known factor, where there is no room for the Enemy to sneak assets nearby unseen.

Also, the more we treat the Coruscant Temple as an archeological site, the better use we will make of the uncountable treasures of lore that our predecessors let slip into the forgetfulness of a well worn household welcome mat.

Actually, building on the idea from my last post, turning the Coruscant Temple into temporary housing for ambassadors and dignitaries of new planets joining the Republic could work as well. It'd be a relatively small number of people at any point in time, so no need to worry about space, and they'd constantly be moving in and out as they get official embassies of their own. It would allow Jedi liaisons to keep a finger on current events and give newcomers a chance to interact with the Jedi in a controlled environment, building relationships for the future. It could also be used to house embassies of foreign states in general.

It'd be a relatively small number of people at any point in time, so no need to worry about space, and they'd constantly be moving in and out as they get official embassies of their own. We could put Mical there. He's mister Talky Talky Thinky Thinky Investigative Historian anyway, and he's got connections to Carth so there's the Friends in High Places gimmick. I like it.

Keeping a finger on the pulse of the galaxy and continuing to develop a reputation among those new to the Republic (and thus likely from the farther reaches of space) that the Jedi are friends to those in need, guardians of peace, protectors of the vulnerable. I like it a lot.

Juhani helps a Republic patrol group/University expedition as they help literally dismantle an old slaver station. Among the relics reclaimed are lightsaber hilts, diaries, and robes, all of historical value to Jedi; furthermore, she helps the group determine the slavers' likely path from then on. When they are brought to justice, it will be by her aid.

Beyond various odds and ends, you snag paydirt at one of the last auctions:

Nine Andrados class freighters, used by Czerka for debt solicitation. They fall just on the freighter side of the "Heavily armed freighter/Very light corvette" spectrum, and you can't think of many ships of the same rough weight class that really want to tangle with them; nine is a pretty frightening thing to have prowling around. Admittedly, they are not, necessarily, the most aesthetically pleasing ships around, looking roughly like somebody jammed together a Mon Calamari and Sullustan ship, warts and all, which makes sense considering its manufacturer and designer.

You can either sell it on or use it yourself; either way, it's a pretty neat little fleet you've put together all at once.

Oh, you also reclaimed a few Jedi artifacts. So that's nice.

A few of the...Sithier senators try and keep the Republic from passing the bill; however, by and large, they know which side butters their bread, and so with your support they are quick to pass it.

10 Trillion credits over the next few years, all to try and restore Ossus to what once was. You will be working closely with ancient records and, more importantly, Ysanna leaders to rebuild the planet to a pre-Nova Purged state. The work might never be done; but you have to try.
