Magical Girl Home Base Quest

[X] [DEATH] You have brush and real wood, and if you take your bellows, then you can create a fire to destroy their remains and send their spirits on to the stars. Their ashes will remain, collected into a memorial container, and enshrined in the building so that their life will forever be remembered by those that follow.
[X] [WORK] No, you want to improve your workshop instead.
[X] [Assault] Yes.

-[X] Kolobok

It would have been more efficient to do Workshop, Kolobok, then Trinket. But as we didn't get a Workshop last turn, we're unlikely to be able to get the Kolobok during this crisis unless we get it instead of the Workshop this turn. Crisis is ramping up, casualties are ramping up, we need a healer ASAP.

If we're going ahead with the assault, I cannot believe no one has bought Homer's bombs yet, if the spreadsheet is right.

Or maybe I've just gone cross-eyed and seeing things that aren't there/are in wrong places. Like newbie Acasta possessing a lvl 3 wand instead of a lvl 3 trinket.

By the sound of what's going down here, that kind of firepower isn't needed - the pillar sounds really fragile so the "harder" part of the assault is just getting someone close enough to scuff a few lines or what-have-you.

Which honestly probably isn't enough to justify a T5 bomb being used against the expected opposition. Now, against the big final boss of this whole event? Maybe then someone will pop one.

So important question.

As far as we know IC, is there anything nasty or dangerous that evildoers can do by using magical girl corpses as materials?

Just this:
I mean that's the point. They're all good, but they all also provide different knock-on effects since they each come from a different tradition and have a different spiritual weight. Although worrying about the tombs in an undead scenario is kinda funny, since those would be persons laid peacefully to rest and immune to most necromancy.
For rest we'd need to ask @7734 directly.

[X] [WORK] Wand
-[X] Write in Level, between 1 and 2.

This vote line needs to choose. Level 1 or Level 2.

For example:
-[] Level 2

So to be clear, Trompdoy is missing many bones? If so, do we even have an idea of how to fix that?

What... no. Trompdoy's team had many broken bones. Also, one of her girls "vanished" ie is dead with no body.

[blinks]

Are you referring to Trissa, or to some other girl, and if so, who?

The girl on Trompdoy's team that died.

Changed my vote. More specifically the order of things so the vote won't split.

[x] [ASSAULT] Yes.

I think that dragging this out is only going make things worse and result in more deaths and/or more newbie MGs being made.

A sort of Viking funeral fits for girls that are warriors.

[x] [WORK] No, you want to improve your workshop instead.

I would vote for Kolobok, but a large amount of the voters won't go for it unless workshop is picked first because of the risk. But that's fine,as I think we're long overdue for a workshop upgrade anyway.

And for people looking to beef up the MG's arsenal, keep in mind that we do have a couple of T5 Bombs Homer made while the MC was working on building upgrades.

That wasn't saying much, though, as the herd around your hotel had doubled and you saw tarps and bush shelters going up in the scrubline and pine trees that had been used once upon a time to give the illusion of privacy.
So... We have a bunch of newbie megucas camping around our building, without any proper camping gear, in winter. Surely letting them sleep in the corridors would be less unhealthy?

Welcome to SV!

Quests here and on similar sites use an automated tally software to count people's votes. Therefore for your vote to be valid it has to be formatted correctly. For example, to vote for 'Assault: not yet', you have to copy this exact line from the update:

[] [ASSAULT] Not yet.

And put an X inside the brackets, like so:

[X] [ASSAULT] Not yet.

Note that in this quest you can only choose one vote for each category. So for [Death] and [Work] you can't make two votes; only one vote for each.

It's been a pretty mild winter so far, but yeah it's like early January in quest right now.

The city is literally being invaded by the legions of HELL right now. Normal circumstance has been well and truly thrown out the window.

Pretty much. You sneeze magic and pretty soon you'll be swimming in vellites. Most of the girls can probably go home at the end of this, though, and stand by as a reserve against the tides of darkness. If they're lucky. We already know what happens when their luck runs out though.
