The Morrsley Village Experiment

As in, @Cyricubed I was saying that whether or not we separated groups cleanly, I think we had separated out at least one person who wasn't in either and that person was Shadell.

Logic on 1st quote makes sense and it does make that post look off in context when you look more into it.

Second one is still...Vaguely nai as it could hint to them being a Control Group member or otherwise.

However in regards to confusion that's not always the case. There was a case where There was two town factions, it was Pawn's game...(Pushes aside the preformance of the scottish play into a far lost corner of the universe)...in which town had both Actors and Techies as town factions and the scum were intermingled within. Both could win together of course.

I'm saying it's Possible for the results to be the same here under the same circumstances. Getting the division clearer will make things easier in the end in this case to close out the game and eliminate the right people instead of blundering around correct?

First step would be your own claim, Cyri. Lead the way my man.

You claimed a Wincon and Town...however we can see "Town" is amigious as there are multiple town yes?
Right and you've claimed nothing at all. The fact that you want to get information, but refuse to give any? I'll just say that given what I've said and what others have said I think it's really fascinating what you're asking me.
And I don't trust you for a second.

Also because I'll not be able to look at this for a hot minute I claim Test Subject.
Interesting claim. It's absolutely what I would claim of the known roles thus far if I were 3p/scum/cult/whateverkillingrolething?

I see you around, @mesonoxian wondering what your thoughts on Shadell and Cyri are?

@Nictis I could quibble with your interpretation, but we should probably focus on the current game. My bad for bringing it up. Besides I think you're just still peeved because I scum read you right out of the gate. :p

I'm not real interested in going after survivors who have no means to hit back or even to coordinate their votes. The real question is whether we have active scum, and if so who they need to target.

Imagine a scenario where the TS needs everyone else eliminated, the CG needs to survive,, and an SK needs all of TS eliminated.

There are other possibilities (no scum group at all and the game is over when we stop lynching) or (there is no CG and Nictis is scum). But right now I think those are less probable than two townish groups and some scum.

@ondine I am not especially suspicious of @Shadell at this point. I need to read the thread over again to formulate anything more solid on anybody else.

I am on my phone right now and haven't had internet all day. I probably won't get home until a couple hours before EoD.

Since we're bleeding information all over the thread, @Shadell you've said a couple of things that make me question what group you're actually part of. That and the way that you responded to my open claim.

Can I ask what flavor ice cream you have?

Not saying if I can help it. Things don't match up in quite the way I alluded to at the start. Actually, understanding the relevant mechanic, why is what I said indicative?

I'm happy to agree to this request if you're willing to communicate why this matters, because you're clearly playing with more information than anyone, which is ultimately a bit suspicious, not necessarily in whether you're a test subject now, but in how likely you are to stay one.

Me and Ondine (and probably Shadell and Mesonoxonian) all seem to have this wincon.
I at least am a Test Subject.

I am a test subject, the faction color is a shade of blue. I hope that's true for everyone whose declared test subject so far...

I'm not entirely sure there's presently any scum though, as I don't think anything in the rules has stated that.

Frankly I'm tired of the deflective bullshit and how exactly what I said earlier about Scum would claim town is being thrown back at my face casually. On top of that you keep evading the question, no, all you did is say I claim town and that everyone else has to die. You didn't claim Test subject, others leaked that. I think you've played along with IH's claim or at worst your scum with IH. Every turn you've tried to get whoever seems easiest to lynch and that included me once I started calling out your BS. I'm tired of this and I don't care much for your claim anymore unless you've got a power that basically GM confirms you in thread, I'm set on your lynch.

[X] Lynch Ondine

And for god sakes stop nulling because I'm pretty sure we can hammer Null if you don't pay attention everyone.

Anyway, EoD is getting close. I think there's 3 options I'm leaning and a few I'm not. For now, I don't see a more likely option than null, so I'm leaving my vote there because I don't consider it the worst possibility on the table.

Inclined to vote
Cyricubed- Claimed town very late, missed the subtext entirely which is a bad look.
Ondine-Is working from more information about a mechanic no one else seems to understand. Mostly went along with the follow-ups to IH's bit and kept pressuring on me even after I referenced the contents of the bit indirectly a number of times. Ondine is either town and set herself up to die tonight by softclaiming a power role, or scum and playing very carefully. To that end, I'd definitely

Unlinclined to lynch
Meso- Has picked up on town cues consistently.
IH- Came forward with a lot of town information
Nictis- On the one hand, fabricating a control group faction would be a really gutsy play. OTOH, no one's called this out if Nictis has, which leaves me inclined to trust for now.
Myself- I aint no jester!
Rosen- Seems to have picked up on town cues consistently.

That leaves 6 out of 13 I don't have any real suspicions on.

I'm satisfied with this if you'll explain why you said what you said about 3ps? Did your wincon specifically mention them, because mine did not?
If you'll indulge me with that answer, I'll explain the ice cream thing, which admittedly sounds less great in my ears now that I've written out my explanation.
To that end:

[x] null Shadell

@InterstellarHobo and @mesonoxian you are the two who I trust the most at this point. Can I ask what your opinions of me are? Because I'm pretty surprised by the way people are reading me.

Also, re the null lynch/ties:

If the vote is tied at day end, there will be no lynch. Was asked this in PMs so in the interests of fairness I've put the answer here.

And also fuck, I thought that lynching null had to be 100% of the votes, but I think I got confused with the damn Rumor game which I've been reading since Nictis mentioned it. Sorry if that caused some confused. I really thought that was the rule until I just went looking for it.

@I just write is a tie the same trigger as null actively winning the vote?

I'm satisfied with this if you'll explain why you said what you said about 3ps? Did your wincon specifically mention them, because mine did not?

My wincon names no other faction. What it does suggest is that no other faction can be alive, which kinda runs against allying with 3Ps (if they need to live to win).

This is why I asked about your ice cream color. I didn't think you would think that blue could be the color of many town ice cream colors(given that we all have different ice creams and mine at least is a color close to it's flavor, and obviously, not blue), so I assumed you had a different faction color than blue. Why exactly would you make this guess with blue as your color, I thought you were making a poor guess, and while I figured perhaps you could be trying to get people to out themselves, like Nictis did, the way that he responded to you and you were playing off each other made me question that and wonder if you were working together.

And now I feel a little dumb about it.

Also, yes, if it's not already clear, I'm a Test Subject in this murdery experiment.

That was a fast an unreasoning 180.

I'm confused here because this doesn't make a lot a sense to me right now and that might just be the way it's constructed.
