Mostly stuff we failed last turn.

Meh, Kakashi was chunin when he was 6. Minato doesn't have much room to talk as his sensei. Unless he wants to use "Hokage's Prerogative" to cast hypocritical judgement like that.

Might get us a funny line about beating an instructor because they didn't realize how good we are though. That'd be worthwhile.

I think the war and having a son makes him a little more weary to send children into battle.

Maybe. Or he could just be worried about a clan heir, a genius medic and their best friend dying before they have kids. :V

Yeah, but there isn't a war going on now unlike with Kakashi. And the Academy in its current form can't handle prodigies that greatly outpace the standard academy instruction. This does give him a good reason to focus on overhauling the academy. Who knows, maybe the Third Hokage will teach a bit as his retirement job.

For our team though, as long as he has Kakashi take things slow for uss and gives safe C-Ranks for when we start taking them there's nothing to really worry about. Just because they're ninja doesn't mean they'll be getting into dangerous fights.

It'd honestly be novel to see a relatively slow paced time as genin where we go on relatively normal missions.

i'm not complaining, we got great rolls on the important ones. a fail on Atlas would have been more than simply disappointing. Heck, a fail on learning healing would have been bad too as that could easily have turned into a botched chirurgy or something...

We pretty much are finished. Elemental Jutsu isn't part of the Academy, we're maxed on chakra size/control, and we got jounin level taijutsu.

I mean, the Academy isn't MEANT to teach prodigies. THAT is the job for the Jounin post-graduation.
