You looked at the roof and saw the shadow, his chakra being suppressed by his user as to not give a signature, but even he could not hide from your eyes.

So you climbed up the drainpipe on the side of the building and clambered your way onto the roof, just to avoid being detected.

The ANBU was small, wearing clearly custom made gear for his size, but he was an ANBU, and that meant he was highly trained.

That fact clearly did not make you any less mischievous as you laid down next to the ANBU and said. "Hello, see anything interesting?"

You could feel the dread behind the mask as the ANBU looked at you, horror radiating from his body as he turned to face you. But he did nothing rash, at least that you could notice. "Identify yourself." He stated. At least you thought it was a he, there was no way of telling without asking, but you were not in the mood to start asking potentially inappropriate comments.

"Shiro Hyuga, Apprentice of Kakashi Hatake, Student of Academy Class 1-A. Your turn." You replied with a smile.

"My name is classified." The ANBU stated. "And you need to leave."

"I'll leave when I get your name." You stated quietly. "And what your mission is if that is possible."

The ANBU seemed to be frowning… you think. "And why would you want that information?"

"To help if possible, and to become your friend." You stated.

The ANBU had sweat dripping down from inside the mask., you could feel it. "You are strange."

"Not as strange as you are, isolating yourself from everyone else. Aren't you lonely?" You asked.

"I…" The voice of the ANBU went silent. "Yes… it kinda is lonely… and my mission is to protect your class from any dangers, while… learning to be a social and functioning member of the village. And complete my education, I am lacking in several areas of academic skills."

"Are there any other ANBU in the academy protecting the other classes?" You asked.

The ANBU nodded. "No, it's just me." He stated. "I should not have said that."

"Don't worry, I'm sure you'll be fine." You replied with a smile. "You could always join us, you interact with us in ways so that we may help you achieve your mission of socializing and help you in class."

"Really?" The ANBU sounded relieved.

"Of course, introduce yourself to the class like an ANBU should, and continue to hide in the shadows…. Or something while class continues, and take notes." You stated. "Or do you have parameters that you have to follow?"

"Lord Hokage said that I could use any means necessary to complete this mission as long as no harm comes to you, the academy staff, or myself." The ANBU stated.

You nodded. "Well… that answers that question. I hope to see you soon." You said as you began to slide down the roof."

"Don't you want to know my name?" The ANBU asked.

"I'll learn it soon enough." You replied.

You jumped down onto the lunch table, your toes balancing on the edge of the seats of the eating classmates who were sitting there.

"Sorry for dropping in like that." You said quietly.

There was still time at Lunch, and you could see:
