You know, I'm actually pondering on if to try and speak to Fugaku or Minato. I don't know why, but after the Itachi talk I feel compeled to talk to his father. Dangerous and not useful, I know, but I kinda want to do that. We are a genius who has a computer in his head, who knows what we might say. Could it worsen things? Better things? Who knows? Not me.

If Fugaku genjutsus his own son inside his own home which is currently filled with a lot of high level ninjas, there will be narrowed eyes at the display and a loss of reputation. Fugaku will not do genjutsu Itachi when there are witnesses around.

...? Why? It honestly seems like it'd be sorta common for ninja family members to use light genjutsu on eachother. Especially parents on children, to both help control them (rambunctious squirt not wanting to go to sleep? Just a bit of Genjutsu and he's out like a light!), and to help them grow familiar with Genjutsu (from experiencing it so often, they can easily learn to identify when they are being effected by one). Plus, it overall just seems like a rather effective way to send messages covertly, being able to send nonexistent messengers, allowing them to discuss sensitive matters without losing face (like telling your child to stop doing something stupid right this instant, without having to actually raise your voice).

Ah, to heck with it. Kakashi is most likely to win, so I'll choose a losing option. As I said, I feel a bit compelled to speak with him.
