Hmmm, I can't decide what plan to back. I want to see the prince turnout alright. I also know we need better attack/military skill. Napoleon should be contacted. That leaves just one more action.

Because you know what we need?

Magic Resistance EX: As she comes from a world never touched by gods or magic, she is a void to all but the strongest of magics, such as Divine or True Magic. This includes contracts, area attacks, and Weak Noble Phantasms

Marksmen (A): Thérèse shooting ability is to the extent of perfectly hitting a target with a musket, even while on top of a shaking ship, a shaking ground, or flying through the air.

Personal Skills

Independent Action (A+): Due to the unique extra-dimensional nature of Thérèse and her lifetime of acting on her own initiative, she comes with the ability to act without input from Her Master.

Advice of the Strategist (A+): At Rank A+, the advice given will be 100% correct even if it contains any unforeseen circumstances in enacting the advice. For enemies to counter this, it is required to have a level of fortune or skill to overcome any analysis conjured by the user of this Skill

Noble Phantasms

L'armée du Rhin - Army of France: Anti-Army/Unit Noble Phantasm: B The combined army of France during the War of the First Coalition, and the defense of Mayance. They will fight greatly on the defensive and offensive in equal measure.

The Shield of Valmy: Anti-Army Noble Phantasm: A+ Born from her first command, when she is on the defensive, and will do anything in the world, to win or to die.

When she defends, not even god may break through her lines.

Jenne De Arc - Universal Ruler of The World: Anti-Unit (Self)/Populace Noble Phantasm: EX As a (Universal Ruler), he understands and knows all, and the world returns this. As the title he took upon ascending the throne of an Empire that stretched from the Atlantic to the Pacific, this Noble Phantasm boosts his skills and stats to EX levels. It also implants in the minds of all who view him, even animals and those who are mindless by force, as a (General). This changes his class to Ruler, and removes all other Noble Phantasms. The requirements for this Noble Phantasm are unknown, even to him.

Logic of Earth - Theumaterical Void: Anti-Thaumaturgy Noble Phantasm: EX As a woman from a world with no magic or religion, the existence of such is an impossibility to her mind. Thus, through the Grail's power, this logic is temporarily imposed on the world around her, sometimes unconsciously. As she becomes more familiar with her other noble Phastasms and magic, this Phantasm will degrade in effectiveness until eventually becoming unusable.

So if we want to increase attack, we should increase Military, as that covers just about everything.
Pretty much. Better at Military = better at doing things with the military.

Now I wonder what Jean-Philippe Laurens is up to, he's supposed to be in Italy falling in love with Napoleon and kicking out the enemies of France, but since southern France is much more stable, he's probably not posted there. He should be tempted to join the Vendee, yet the only reason he survived being a royalist was because he refused to fight his countrymen, so he is most probably where most of the action is, in the Netherlands or the North-East border of France, helping the French army kick out the enemy.

Would be cool if someone can write a story on his whereabouts or what he's doing.

Observations from training (CGTM2002)
Observations from training

FWEP!!! Goes the whistle, and so goes the men under officer Davout. FWEP!!! is a common sound around Davout, it is meant to signal training, and there is much training under Davout.

Severin is watching how his subordinates trains his men, and is interested to see their exercise. First, he observes Davout training a battallion of newly made riflemen, the line is currently divided into 3 rows, it seems this is a test of speed.

FWEP!! goes the whistle, and the loud CRACK!! of the 1st rows newly ordered rifle follows around the camp and to Severin, the noise is still somewhat odd. FWEP!! is heard once more and the second line 's rifle goes CRACK!! , FWEP!! is heard again and the final line fires, a last CRACK!! is heard.

Now the men are told to reload, and Severin is quite impressed by the speed of their reloading, the first line does not fumble with their rifles and quickly reload their weapons, FWEP!! is heard and CRACK!! soon follows.

Severin now takes notice of the target the rifle was firing at, the accuracy was most impressive. Usually firearms are inaccurate little weapons, with the line being created to underscore that with sheer firepower, yet it seems, under the rifle's improved accuracy and most probably Davout's frequent drillings, accuracy and firepower will go hand in hand.

He finally turns back to Davout and his men, he notices that they are now being ordered to march, and to Severin's confusion, there are no sounds of groaning or protests, it seems that Davout's disciplinary tendencies and frequent drills have exhausted the men of their ability to complain.

As he watches Davout and his men go on the march, Severin thinks to himself, "This man will go far it seems, the only question is how far will he go."

And unbenknownst to Severin, a lone chicken safely, and proudly, crosses the road and through Davout's camp.

Laurens is the Peoples' royalist, a charming man whom none would assume evil from just a glance; his mere efficacy in being a person precedes his own beliefs.

Yeah faart's great. Kinda smelly though.
Observations from training
Ah Davout, the one man capable of--
Yeah this is his nickname now. Louis-Nicolas "FWEP" Davout.
The incarnation of Dumouriez's cowardice, through which he betrayed France after a slight loss? Well, he's not a traitor in this timeline, so I'd say the chicken is such a thing.

The Lone Chicken.

Bwak.

Oh yeah, here's a +10!
Couldn't find any good art for Therese. Sorry bout that.
I'm tempted to draw something, but it's gonna be anime and trash, just like my tastes :V

"As you can imagine, a peasant farmer never learns to take destiny into his own hands, to steer the nation and its people towards greatness. One who lives on the land never leaves it, no matter his abilities. That, my friend, is why true power is given to those with vision, to those with the ambition to become greater than what they were. To become the gods we once prayed to, and lead our people to glory!" The white-haired politician writhes his arms in the air as a chill is sent through your nerves.

"You're crazy, Max!" You shout, the chains holding you in place buckling and clinking with each struggle. "You'll never get away with this! France must not be ruled by tyrants, ever again!"

He laughs, procuring a dagger from his belt. "Oh, haha! You can't see the heights we would have been able to achieve, the legacy that we could leave!" You hear his footsteps get closer, his form shifting around the numerous pillars. "If only you had taken my advice, heeded my suggestions... the world could be a better place! A peaceful place, with us ruling at the top, as it was meant to be. But no!"

You hear a thunk that makes you jump as the dagger is struck into the floorboards before you.

"You decided to squander it all, in pursuit of anarchy, of chaos, of destruction!" He's yelling into your ears now, the voice echoing through each wall and slamming back with double the volume. "I could have you sent to guillotine as another example, but you've influenced and brainwashed too many misguided puppets that that would see you as a martyr. No, I'm much more rational than that..."

As he bends down near the left side of your head, you see the opportunity:
With a sharp knee to his groin, you finally burst the chain loose, wrapping it around his ankles and tripping the shocked maniac onto the ground. Another foot comes down onto his face as you quickly slip your hands out of the shackles which you prepared for the last two hours. He growls in pain as he tries to reorient, but by then, you're already several paces away.

Robespierre's voice cracks, making guttural noises as he screams. "YOU CUR! I'LL THROW YOU INTO THE PITS OF HELL MYSELF!" What was once a man now seemed more animalistic, still retaining his human features but in a stance not unlike that of a wolf, glaring at you as his hands grasp the ground, ready to chase after you.

There's no time to waste, as you sprint as far as your legs could carry you with snarling and wood creaking with each bound and turn. The howls unnerve you, threatening of visceral details of your demise. You round turn by turn, but with no end in sight. The hollow stone halls reverberate each heartbeat and hurried step as you realize that he's catching up.

You feel a snapping of fabric behind you, and your body flails forward into the air before bouncing back onto the face of the pursing man who used to be a lawyer. As the two of you collapse into a pile, survival instincts spring forth. You grapple his head, borrowing momentum from the pull to flip behind his back.

Robespierre's arms rotate backwards, striking your torso while you strain your limbs to hold on and constrict his. Fingers claw fruitlessly despite his contortions, and your vision begins to fade to red. Life and death are but an afterthought as the rush of the moment sets in, your vision narrowing and focusing only on the victim before you.

Maximilien Robespierre, a man gone mad with power, starts turning his head to you. Instead of the wild, savage visage you envisioned, it was the soft, compassionate face of the man you once knew.

"Only regret... is dragging... you... into this..." The light in his eyes fade as you feel the limpness of his body.

Rage and fear turns into mounting horror as you realize what had happened. His form lays in your arms. "No, no no no no..." you repeat the word but watch as your hands hold the results of your actions. The man who led the rebellion against the corrupt monarchs, the man who led a crusade against anyone who opposed him, the man who returned violence to the streets of the Capital, the man who once stole your heart, is dead.

It was then you realize that anyone could become a tyrant.

No idea what happened when I wrote this, but this is some AU where you, the MC, are next victim to the dark deeds of Max, who is apparently possessed by an animalistic spirit, or curse, or something, iunno. Then you realize that this is a personification of evil, and it was within every person all along. Surprise, humans are their own worst enemy!

I want to know how did Cinncinatus inspire you towards this.

It's simple, really. I thought about how Cincinnatus would be brought up as an exemplar of rulership to Robespierre, and I imagined how he would react to it during his time as a madman, and things went downhill from there.

Oh, voting ends in 3.5 hours!

If people are wondering about me randomly putting a chicken there, I have my reasons, namely, the chicken is meant to symbolize France, since a rooster was once a symbol of France, and how under Davout's protection, it can go by unharassed and proud, also because I wanted to make a chicken crosses the road reference.

Oh thank god... I thought you put it in because it was a Fable 3 reference.

Sorry, having flashbacks to terrible games is something that happens to me on occasion.

Citoyens, we need not be enemies! Let us compromise and unite, by all voting for my plan! Or else....

But seriously, not picking the newspaper is a missed opportunity. You don't have to like Marat, or even think he's anything other than a nutcase, you just have to realize that he can be useful for our own goals.
