Well I think the 20 hours have passed, at least from what my convertor is telling me anyway, so... let's vote... I guess?

[X] Plan Common Sense is a Paine
[X] The Prince and a Promise: You have heard rumors about the heir to house Capet, young Louis-Charles. Rumors that he is being abused by his caretakers... and worse. You do not hold any love for the Capet and the Monarchy, but... he is but a child, innocent in this entire mess. You are going to visit and examine his condition, and do something about it, lest harm befalls anyone undeserving. DC???
[X] Women of the Revolution: You have received a message from one Pauline Léon, requesting for you to come to a meeting of her society: Société des Républicaines-Révolutionnaires. You're a woman, and a revolutionary. Why not? DC: 10

[X] Correspond with Brian: You hoped he was alright, but he might not be in the future. Some last-minute partying and celebrations are in order, lest we let this time slip by. Spend some time together and grab some friends; who knows what will happen? DC: 15
[X] Napoleon Visits: Napoleon Bonaparte, the man of your dre—your acquaintance, has requested an audience with you. The letter he sent was clearly directed to you, of that, you are certain. DC: 5

On second thought, I think it's best we stay away from both the streets or the newspaper until we have a better handle on the municipal politics.

You may not be interested in politics, but politics is interested in you. Isolationism is a bad strategy anyway.

[X] Swordswomanship

Basically Plan Diplomatic Training, but with the swordswomanship action. Because I do think we need to raise one time again before being relatively safe from the various dangerous situations we'll undoubtebly find ourselves into.

I don't know, it worked pretty well for the US for a couple of decades. :V
Not really though. See the reasons why their isolationism eventually ended.

You turn your head around for a moment, and suddenly there are Nazis everywhere. That's why it's a bad strategy, the world doesn't stop moving when you hide your head in the sand. It just keeps moving without your input, which means the results tend to be bad for you.

In any case, getting more involved with politics right now gives us the greatest chance of reigning in the excesses of the Terror.

It seems the party is split....again.
And we all know what happens when you split the party.

No one wins.

also, anyone up for an omake about... well I'm making an offer to write an omake for you guys.

Whatever the hell you want... (That follows the fourm rules obviously)

The price is very simple... You have to write one as well, of my choice, or you must put a roll bonus onto this turn, of a random action.
TO THE GULLITONES WITH BOTH OF YOU!!
I am the only one who decides when the Guillitones are open to being used... Well Plaus and Cyber too.

Sorry, but that's a spoiler.

Can't be giving to many things away.

Spitballing:

Thomas Paine - he's still in the assembly right now. Even though he doesn't speak French. Just anything. Maybe a correspondence to the US?

The Prussian Reaction to the Battle of Mayence - Having your army broken and two respected commanders must have come as a great surprise to the Konig.

Napoleon's Reaction to the Battle of Mayence - That was probably the sexiest news he got all year.

The Assembly's Reaction to the loss in the Low Countries - Combine that with the Vendee and they probably shat themselves.
