In many worlds, in many universes, in many possibility brave heroic figures fight to stop the forces of evil. Villains fight to take over entire worlds and shape them into their own dominants. Corporations battle to make their numbers go higher. Mad Scientists do whatever they want to do for a variety of strange and unusual goals, and Eldrich Horrors act in ways completly incomprehensible to less minds.

You are none of these things!

No you are a head researcher beholden to another, your mind is powerful but it is not truley free, not like that of a Mad Scientists anyway.

Instead you direct your research efforts at the behest of another more powerful force of the world you live in.

You are the head of Research and Development.

And you really hope you aren't asked to develop something stupid!

Greetings undead frog, I've read your Evangelion A.I quest before, and loved it, even if getting to your posts was a little tricky. So this makes me glad that I managed to find what could be another grand adventure right in it's starting stages.

May we have a long and joyous journey together.

Well being an AI assistant of Eggmans is a possibility as is a GUN scientist.

One of the key themes of this quest well be focusing your efforts in reaction to both the desires or your superiors as well as wider events such the state of an ongoing conflict.

So if Halo wins, do we get to choose between Forerunner(during the Flood/Forerunner war), Human and Covenant?

Oooooh.... hm, either works, although considering that Eggman is Eggman, we might be able to manipulate him. That or consolidate our own forces and rebel eventually becoming our own faction.

I see, I see. I doubt Sonic is gonna win, but I'd love to see it happen, as there's a ton of weird stuff to research in the universe.

Are there Chao though? Because I for one, would be okay with researching them and winding up partially turning into a Chao Garden Quest on the side when not researching Chaos Emeralds.

Let us delve into the depths, of the Darkest Dungeons. Maybe we'll even become a bigger bastard than the Ancestor and not feel regret for it.

I'd prefer the Sonic Boom TV show continuity, if only because the show takes place in a village with an acting Mayor, shops, a restaurant that Eggman once equipped with robotic staff as part of a scheme, and others who could make use of some research. Also, I think one of the villains of the week is a researcher/archeologist guy who digs up precursor technology including a mech suit.

Starcraft would be my second choice.

Considering that the Ancestor is pretty much responsible for every problem in the hamlet sans the Final Bosses existence that would quite the feat.

It certainly is an oddity, especially with their Dark/Hero forms.
