Honestly, I'm down for any excuse to collaborate with Ironwood. Hell, if we get the process covered up as an Atlesian secrete project that was only able to see the light of day since a Schnee was in danger, that's fine too.
Controlling the story is far more important than covering it up at this point.

Neither of them really want to go to a nightclub, they just want to stick together and have something to do so they don't dwell on their near-deaths. I think trying to relax as two relatively normal teenagers drinking alcohol and getting swept up in the atmosphere of a club than waxing paranoid about the process or Jaune adding another person to his evidently growing kill list.
Blowing off some steam in a relatively safe environment with a friend is inarguably more emotiaonlly healthy than trying to forcibly confront all these issues at once. Worst case Weiss and Jaune find a booth, have a few drinks and observe the club life while making awkward conversation. The horror.

Penny got brought up, which is a good point - there are other AIs that would be affected by the fallout of this, beyond just the Process and the Transistor. Plus, more Atlas cooperation is absolutely a good thing, in the long run.
