I think we can put off palisades for a while.
I want a 6th settlement sooner than later because a 6th Shrine means +1 permanent Mystic and two chances to do Main Farming.
IIRC 0 stability doesn't mean collapse, significant negative stability means collapse.So, I have an issue with this plan, in that the "One turn from now" plan would bring us to 0 temp econ, which... is really dangerous, and I'd rather not do that. Also, we have 1/3 stability. It may be prudent to do some veneration to keep that from going to 0. At which point the whole society collapses. Which... would also be bad.
The mountain passage has a waypoint with a shrine in it, which may count? Not really sure if it does or not, but we do have an extra shrine out there.

So all of our compitition just up and died. Hmmmmm... hum hum hum... hmm... say it with me now, it's free realistate. After we make sure they are all/mostly dead and the sickness has burned itself out of course.
I assume you're talking about the boarfolk? They got hit too, the only reason their survival is in question is because they are a lot further away. Even if they are still around they are probably much reduced.
