@Enjou @Nurgle, instead of samsonite algae or the mirage palm, I'd really like it if you instead did one of these three.

1. Ammut Crocodile. It's a soul-eater, which means that if we tame it we'll have a dreadfully potent Fear unit to use against daemons. They're useful against other enemies too, since they're strong enough to prey on Titan Scorpions.
2. Soul Oyster. A battle cannon will only scratch its shell, it fuses with the seafloor and turns it as hard as adamantium, and its "mother o pearl" is outright immune to psychic powers, with even soul-eaters being unable to consume it.
3. Jinx Spider. A spider that's capable of inducing bad luck and, far more impressively, is also capable of chronomantic self-resurrection. Some of our psykers have them as familiars.

Normally I would be all over those they sound awesome but we have a deficit in thrones and food.

Alright, tripling down on the Nature of Chaos as per the will of the voters.

Ya'll hmmm I did not think you were from the south.

Born and lived in Georgia all my life.

ergh, ok so I would preffer the gravitc cruiser, but the chance of criting the nature of choas is really tempting. it's the kind of info that would possbly be game changing, so....

[X] Plan Nurgle T122

I've got the Triple Down now, fyi.

Can we please do a triple down on the anti-psyker training prep? It costs us a one year delay in getting started on it plus a PA from Rotbart, and boosts it from having a small chance of critting without a reroll (up to about a fifty percent chance with reroll used, and no chance of a greater crit outside of a nat 100) up to a greater than fifty percent chance of critting without reroll (and something like a 96% chance with reroll) and a good chance of hitting a greater crit without a nat 100.

Effective psyker hunting is hugely important domestically, and will only become more so. Getting a crit in the process of preparing our armies to effectively aid in the process is likely to really boost our abilities there. And it only costs us a delay on the muni actions and a slight scheduling shift.

I second this @Enjou. Can it fit?

I don't think it's necessary because it's just the prep action. And not every action gives amazing super benefits for a crit, sometimes the results are only slightly better, and some actions don't even give critical successes. Given this is, again, just a prep action I don't see it giving all that much greater benefits.

I wish the two leading plans didn't both have three separate Spend Time Withs. I don't think the results would be worth the extra workload we'd be putting on Durin.

If he'd like us to reduce it to two, he can just ask. Honestly, he could just change the action to "Spend Time With Friends and Family" and have him choose who we learn stuff about and I'd be find with it.

Lulana is neither friend nor family though and it would be cool to hang out with her which we couldn't do if it was Spend Time with Friends and Family.

@Nurgle @Enjou
I wouldn't be opposed to just spending time with Lulana. It is also a pretty smart move for local politics she is our closest ally on the planet after all. While we have had more time with the sirens the lack of real trade means it takes much longer to improve our relationship. With Lulana she has a best friend in Jacob and new technologies from us so we are on very good terms. The chance to improve her administration skill will just make her a better ally in the long run. Who knows maybe teaching administration to a Xeno rulers might boost our own stats.

-Y3: The Nature of (Chaos)
-- DOUBLE DOWN YEAR 2

Bit of a problem here, Nurgle. Year 2 double down for a Year 3 action.

SLOT B - Year 1
-Y1: A New Assistant
-Y2: Educational Review
-Y3: Educational Review
-Y4: Educational review
-Y5- attend High council meeting

It's a waste to do this in the Personal Attention slot. The meeting does not take up a Personal Attention action. This is why I have Rotbart doing the Locator Shells, and the light power weapons in the main martial section.

Ok so now all the differences are I do impalers, Enjou does gravity ship. I do honey lily pot he does palm mirage. He does stability rune and I do master trap rune. We both spend time with different people.

As for the rest of personal I am waiting to hear back from Durin.

@Nurgle I don't think impalers should be the first thing we do. Cranial bionics and cogitators should be the first, because they improve our research capabilities.

Those take too long we are trying to get something for all the human factions. The Impaler is the standard weapon for many troops since we found it before the Emperor's death. It has had over a millennia to spread and settle it to that role.

No matter what option we take, I doubt we'll learn anything we can share. This is so Tranth can expand his knowledge. Which we will later use to make improvements down the line. We don't have a long enough time before the conference to get anything new out of the fundamentals action.

IIRC, Durin doesn't disclose what the rewards for a crit are—outside of occasionally things like 'that would require a nat 100, or a string of them' at least.

That said, my own bet is that the prep action is determining what sort of course we're going to put them through, and then follow up action will be the training itself, with it working like a recruitment or equipment upgrade action. As such, the total quality of the bonus will be dependent on the quality of the prep action rather than a roll on the excecution action. We can certainly ask Durin though.

@Durin
  1. Is the Anti-Psyker Training: Preparation action going to lead directly into a training action, or are we anticipating more actions in, say, designing the training?
