Wow my plan got the Potman seal of approval! Though that probably means my plan was barely adequate and he's too lazy to make his own superior plan but it's still a victory I'll cherish.

The wizard economy is about to collapse in 5 turns or less, we need to build a fortified city in order to be self sufficient. It would protect all our assets, our employees, and generate more revenue quickly enough to buy out the markets that will crash. Stay calm and keep being a Boomer gets that city. We can do take Develop your budding empire and Work on coordinating Rosier's and Dace's shops once we have a place to relocate them to.

Well personally I think the idea we can get anywhere near self sufficient anytime soon is unrealistic especially since the actions we would need to take to get there would make us show up on everyone's radar. But I guess buying some land and building some accommodations could be a good idea even if I personally think it could wait a turn.

What does everyone think about changing budding empire, resource hunt, and coordinate shops, for buying land , middling accommodations, and finding source of building materials? I picked this trio since I think middling is the best option even if Major settlement would provide more bonuses since major would be very obvious and take a lot of time and actions to be worthwhile. I chose building materials because duh if we're going to be building stuff of course you would want the materials to do it. I would probably put Myriam on building resources since seems to be the only action with odds.

What does everyone think sound good or keep at my current actions?
 
I dont really have an opinion on building a city or not.
I just think going out of our way to play a faction Dace has a bad alignment with is a bad idea.
Especially when we can choose the one he has the best alignment with.

Edit: Depending on how it works we might also want to wait to city build until after we have an anchor so we can build the right kind of settlement.

Wouldnt the obvious prescience for the incoming economic crisis set off alarms regardless? At that point subtlety is something of a lost cause.

And resource hunt is invaluable, simply because the price for them is gonna skyrocket relatively soon. Building materials are less so since barring wood that kind of stuff isnt really affected by the Crawler and co.

Its better than your current action. We are setting ourselves up for the future this round. For the glory of Wales and the surrounding regions. Dace being someone patreotic.He want great things for Wales and his subordinates.

Your actions set us up to be a business man as the world burns around us. It doesn't help Wales at all. It only serves us.

There isn't even a reason for grabbing a an Anchor this turn .

Grabbing that thing will get the attention of everyone that knows what to look for .
 


To all voters, and late joiners of the discord, there is a reason why people are so adamant about building the city. The muggleborn population is Dace's life insurance, and the muggle economy imploding will cause them to focus on keeping their families safe. If we were to privde that safe haven, we would secure our life insurance against outside factors.

Back in the beginning, it was shown that the Death Eaters were courting us even though we are a halfblood. The muggleborns were the reason. By not building a city, we risk Voldemort taking the chance of all the distracted muggleborns to take us out.

Would people be willing to Vote for a compromise plan? Stay calm and keep being a Boomer with Order instead of Nature?

I'm willing to make a few other compromises but the city is nonnegotiable.

If doing two high profile actions at once is the problem, would people be more willing to vote for the city if we didn't pursue an anchor this turn?
