Probably the 'don't trust itachi' option. He'd still trust Danzo and then get an eye taken out and get critically injured, but not trusting itachi he'd come to us to give us his remaining eye instead
Actually, this could be the key to save Shisui, since after escaping from Danzo he will not go to Itachi, he will probably go to his family, and we have one of the most OP healing jutsu available in the setting.

He wouldn't go to his family anyway; too much of a risk they'll be infected by Aburame bug.

Made a couple Edits to the last chapter. (No need to reread, I simply increased the Ninjutsu stat, which I had forgotten about.)

(Updated the Stats Sheet.)

Edit: how would you girls and guys feel if I made Rin able to communicate with and touch ghosts? (Only one, most likely.)

Dan and later Obito do pull some weird ghost shenanigans in canon, so it isn't entirely unprecedented. She is also some kind of weirdo who defied death in violation of normal Nasuverse spiritual mechanics, so if anyone could interact with ghosts it'd be her.

I do think that someone like her brother sticking around long term as a ghost would detract from the sheer tragedy of the Uchiha Massacre though.

Guys good news! Over at SB we got an Itachi stat sheet of him at six!

...we beat him in Ninjutsu by a single +, Strength, Speed, and Chakra Capacity.

Basically? Things that only happen to beat him due to who our family is.

Yeah, we've already defined our defining character traits, and I'm thinking adding the ability to see dead people will detract from the story.

It would have been fine if our ability to see dead people was the only thing that made Rin stand out, but she's already an unparalleled genius without the ability. I'm against giving her additional defining character traits unless they are logical and hard-won, while seeing ghosts doesn't feel like it would be.

Edit: I would not be opposed to us working on and manipulating a jutsu to raise the dead/speak with the dead.

That would work pretty well, actually. Rin using the death of her family as a motivation to put all her energy towards ninja arts that let her talk to dead people and to maybe even stop people from needing to die? That would make a really interesting story.

I'm talking about being able to meet the only person with Magic Circuits in the Narutoverse, exactly because they have Circuits. No other ghosts will appear, because no one else has Circuits.

That person is not an Uchiha, nor related to us at all.

Not unless it's because she put a ton of effort to break the cycle of life and death as an unhealthy reaction to the death of her family.

Hmm... her first use of the Second Magic will be to try to 'turn back the clock' and fail, with an unexpected side-effect, then. If the Massacre and/or Shisui's death happens, of course.

Edit: what happens when she finds out that even the Mana of alternate dimensions is so potent that if she doesn't use it up immediately once it enters her, she starts turning to stone? >:-D

She shouldn't be coming into contact with pure Mana in the first place without mixing it with her Od, neutralizing that negative effect. However, that limits the amount of Mana she can safely take in. The Jeweled Sword was explicitly made to focus the mana from other dimensions into an external object so Zelretch would not be limited by his Od while drawing in Mana from other dimensions.

EDIT:Actually, Rin can't even mix Mana with Od without her circuits, or somehow going to the advanced stage of Walking and Breathing where you can make your entire body a natural circuit. I'm not sure if Rin has the knowledge to learn that.

Ninja Master, Uzumaki Naruto (Canon/Semi-canon)
@AoMythology Fire the cannons again!

You are Tohsaka Uchiha Rin. And you are getting very pissed off at this blonde idiot. Whoever said orange was a unstealthy color was an idiot! A complete and utter idiot!

At some point Naruto started wearing this orange get up. Not the best looking thing in the world but it he seemed to love it so you didn't say anything. Now though? Now you are going to burn it after this!

You are playing Ninja. Typically finding Naruto is easy, his large reserves being a dead give away. But right now? Not so much.

Sure you can find his general location. But it's now Autumn. Which means leaves change colors. Such as orange. Now the blonde idiot has a natural camouflage you need to pick out of from and by the time you spot him and get to where he was he disappears on you! It's humiliating.

You'd make some clones to go after him, but that'd pretty much be admitting defeat at this point and you are not one to admit defeat! So you will get him if it's the last thing you do, or your name isn't Rin!

"I'm going to get you ya blond bastard!" You shout up at the tree he's in. As you begin climbing it you hear the same laugh he always has. Oh you are going to make him pay for dragging you all around the village.

Well, not ALL the village. A rather small part actually. But this has been going on for half a hour and you're beginning to tire. Not that you let it show of course. You have a reputation damn it!

The process repeats itself for another hour as you begin to completely exhaust yourself. How do you get him down here and be able to grab him? Your stomach rumbles and you smirk. An idea coming to your mind.

"Man this is hard finding him. I could use some food." You say beneath the tree he's in. "Perhaps I'll go get some Ichiraku Ramen before continuing trying to get Naruto. Shame he can't come with." You countinue saying under the tree before walking off in the general direction of the stand.

"No wait! Take me with you!" Naruto shouts dropping down from the tree. You smirk as you rush straight at him and tag him.

"Got you!" You say victoriously with a grin. Naruto blinks as he realizes what happened and pouts.

"No fair Rin! Now to apologize we need to go for Ramen, got it?" He demands. You giggle at how cute it is.

"Fine." You agree, rolling your eyes as Naruto celebrates.

Poor, poor Rin.

Even the basics of the Second Magic are enough for her to unlock her Circuits, which she can manage by... making a nerve Circuit? "Humiliating. I've dropped to the level of Shirou before I knocked some sense into him. Welp, hopefully, I won't accidentally cripple myself."

@DarkKing98 : Stealth Skill has gone up. E -> D-
Added Stealth to Naruto's Sheet at C- rank

Does Naruto's Stealth actions and checks get a buff during Autumn? :p

It is reliant on many things. Painting the Hokage monument while the sun is behind Naruto, for instance, gets him a buff regardless of season. :p

Rin is wearing red, which... well, I can't imagine any situation in which it's helpful.

Oh, by the way: you guys might want to do a Suiho Omake. There is a small chance we'll manage to get him to S rank.

I'd be cool with that. Isolated incidents like this are great as reminders that this is technically a Persona crossover and not just Adorable Uchiha Prodigy quest.

This is a persona crossover? I thought we were doing Fate/.

I think the real question is what acts of necromancy will Rin attempt.

Also, it's the third magic Rin would look towards in the wake of a tragedy, not the second. The third magic is the one that would allow her to materialize souls.

Oh god could you imagine the bloodbath that would ensue if there was a shinobi grail war, with the grail selecting participants at random from each village, begun by a little girl's desire to see her brother one last time? It would be hilarious incredible. Unless Shisui is a summoned heroic spirit, which all things considered, he probably would be.

(Actually, I can't quite imagine. Hey AoMythology, on a scale of a handful of murders to extinction event, how bad would a shinobi grail war be?)
