I love Stygia. I imagine that the plans for the artificial sun closely resembles a frigate engine hoisted up above the city.

This but with a bunch of void shields to keep it from roasting everybody and to contain the churning plasma. Potentially also giant mirror or aperture or something to focus the light and heat to murder things with.

Nope, they're very intelligent. Avernite scholars regularly hold sophisticated debates with Jotun scholars.
No, normally Jotun are slightly less intelligent than humans (though better educated than bone'eads because they are smart from the childhood) but they can use knowledge implantation chairs earlier/more often, which results in them having extensive DAoT education.

  • [X] Propose that the subsectors be granted the right to hold their own councils. These councils would be based upon the system in the core worlds, meet in their subsector capitals and would deal with the various issues affecting said subsectors. If an impasse is reached, or an issue arrises that the councils do not have the authority to address it will be refered upwards, to the low and eventually the high council if needed.
[X] Propose that the Security council be given greater powers that allow it to act quickly in the event of a sudden invasion. In addition the Security council will be allowed to create either an executive or smaller council, which ever is more efficient, in the subsectors so that they may react better to raids.
[X] Propose the increase of the Trust guard. That the security council will be able to request units designated by planetary government for long term and short term campaign. The Security council will also have the option to seek advisemenet from generals and admirals or other sources for security or military reasons.

Yeah but as far as I'm aware all members of the Illuminati are also Inquisitors. Wouldn't be the first group of them to go slightly rogue.
Some of em yeah, but an Illuminated is anyone whose been possessed by a Daemon, but thrown it off through will power. An illuminated can be an inquisitor, but they don't have to be an inquisitor.

Are they related to the Exorcists or the grey knights? Sedems like a similar schtick.

Also I'm disappointed the Exorcists aren't a regional power. Was hoping we'd have them close by.

They're 1000 light years away...while the furthest away regional power otherwise is the Nexx at 450 light years...I think we've just not got there to see yet.

@Durin
1. I've read people saying that the negative value of on-world Ork infestations was doubled following the green awakening, is this accurate?
2. Was the negative value of an Ork inhabited planet in the same system also doubled?

3. Back to Turoq again, is their ability to track all of our ships with daemons normal for Chaos polities now?
4. Does it require some sort of paragon trait? (Diplomacy or psykic control maybe?)
5. Could we do something like divine which of Turoq's followers would be motivated and able to carry out an assasination, then give each that we get a positive response for a single dose of Death's head venom?

Edit: 6. Does the Imperial Trust count as a dangerous region now? On account of most of our neighbors being Chaos.
6.i. If so what is the point value?

An assassination on who?

Are you asking who we can assassinate, or people willing to try and assassinate Turoq...cause that's a bit of a waste of time (Daemon prince).

Regardless anyone got any ideas for the current debate? Cause I've proposed three things, but nobody's really come out against them...not even to suggest ways to improve them really...

maybe a way for do simple yes/no proposal's via embassy? with all such proposals being marked for review during high council meetings. It would let worlds make requests of the trust as needed rather than having to wait 50 years if they have something they want to deal with right now.

They aren't. Only War has them as a mount option with stats and everything.

For reasons yet unknown, the planetary population produces more Psykers than any in the sector, and those who do awaken tend to wield powers of levels utterly unthinkable in the Imperium of old.
"reasons yet unknown" seems silly. There are two open warp rifts on the planet's poles. The planet is warptouched. It's rather easy to determine why so many psykers are produced.

The name of the Gate changes from Aeneid to Aegean.

Well you propose two things and than took the advice of a chaos god. But more people should vote or come up with something else. I know how you feel.

What I am waiting for is too see what the other councilors are going to propose before we compromise or figure these out.

I didn't think even being warptouched sufficiently explained why there were multiple Alpha+es being born. That kind of thing is nutso.

Damn, I thought I fixed that already. Thanks!
