I don't get the "the sum of all combined Levels" bit - what, does it mean that we take all the level-able abilities of both Sun and Moon (including spells, both Flights, and weapons), sum up their levels, and use it as a reduction?
Only Sun, though it counts all Spells.

(That would be 13 Scepter, +39 Spells, +19 Abilities = 71; -7,100 Total End Damage at the moment)

Gaia had accepted the watchers on her surface for now, seeing that they did nothing to endanger her plans. Now they brought a Forgotten and threatened the few things that kept Bianca stable, who she needed. They were waiting now, until they could establish contact with the twins without anyone else nearby.
So, if we ever want to bait them, we should be alone. Definitely should ask about their threat level with Bianca and/or Gaia though.
No, that is not fair. In hindsight there are signs, but you could not put them together before. The thought of Bianca being a Magical Girl never crossed your mind after she denied it. If what you just saw was true... what would make her lie to you? It is not just secrecy, you are sure of that.
The twins trusted her not to lie about something like that.
In hindsight it's easy to see how Bianca would not tell two ten year old a secret which, if exposed, would see her ran out of the UES. And likely be the scandal of the century.

Attention Please! Veil of the Solar Goddess is now incredibly weakened in terms of damage reduction compared to how it was before. Especially when we're not alone, so we have to rely on the Moon for defense.

We can probably expect to get Crush on level 10, and it would give us really good synergy with Overwhelm. But I'll let others experiment, because as is, Veil of the Lunar Goddess up to level 16-17 is more cost-effective, Level 18 is barely less than cost-effective, and until Crush+Overwhelm (350+500 EXP at best) purchasing Veil of the Lunar Goddess to 20 or 21 is still better.
Here's the new scaling. Right. I'm picking up Sun's scepter and Moon's Veil to 15 - this will let them at least approach what we had before the latest updates. And Mistress of the Tide - because with Sun's defenses nerfed, she needs Moon's help to survive.

Please note - I chose against purchasing Overwhelm for now. Because improving Veil by 3 levels already grants us an x4 health (survivability) modifier, but ALSO improves our No-Sell AND Shining Protector effectiveness. For the record, Veil of the Lunar Goddess 16, 17 and 18 are still things a bit more cost-effective than Overwhelm for now (until we PROBABLY get Crush on Scepter 10). But that's about it. They cost 480 EXP total to Overwhelm's 500, and are a bit more guaranteed to work.

3) A return to a decent damage for Sun, and Magic Modifier for defense. Also an additional attack for Sun.
4) Improving on our survivability with Moon. Most cost-effective option of all we have, better than Solar Seal by far.

It was always supposed to be a threshold that keeps small fry out, not something that makes Eva immune to near everything at higher levels.
Good thing I realised that on time.
 
That is a very big change, and greatly increases the immediate value of Overwhelm.
Which still does not work against Unstoppables, or Spells. Or damage redirect via Shining Protector.

Veil is still more immediately useful for now.

Dodge has always been pretty high in my priorities.

I didn't say it makes Overwhelm the better choice right away (haven't done a detailed analysis myself yet). Was just saying that it's immediate value with that change is higher than it's immediate value without the change.

Opportunity Cost is entirely separate from that, and I'll need to do a detailed analysis before that.

Before the change (25% of HP) Overwhelm was something to take after Veil 18 if it helps. It effectively reduced damage by 4, and 3 levels of Veil (16-18, 480 EXP) are still an x4 health or so.
 
Talking with Bianca first should be a the action before we tell others and then tend to Brave Heart, talking with the others about it can wait. Mostly because Bianca doesnt want to tell it anyone and then we can inform her about Ana and the connection. Then telling Ana and working closer with her would be better in my opinion.

Something to consider is that if we get Advanced Connection for Ana right now, she's probably going to find out about Bianca's big secret sooner rather than later no matter what.

Now that Moon has Intercept and has exponential scaling on her weapon, raising her weapon's level is actually really valuable.

I do not think this is a good time to raise Ana's Connection level.

I think talking to Strength, Spring, or Night right now is a bad idea.

Nothing is strictly essential.

The issue with Overwhelm is that it only adds 75% of the enemy's Base Damage, not their Total Damage. So their MM and abilities like Full Auto ignore it.

The other benefit is that raising the Scepter increases Moon's attacks per turn, which improves her ability to Intercept attacks aimed at people standing right next to her.

I definitely think that Sun's Scepter and Moon's Veil need to stay higher than Moon's Scepter.

My point is more that while many things have been nerfed by these changes, Moon's Scepter is the main thing that's been buffed.

Discipline also makes its damage scale a bit better than it looks.

It is unlikely to be a means of serious offense except against frail people who are really good at dodging/negating (intercepting them prevents them from doing that). What it does do is make it so that Moon takes less damage when blocking an attack aimed at Sun.

More like, the only thing worth mentioning that was buffed at all.

And with Shining Protector, Intercept is optional. The one thing it does is let us negate weaker attacks of 15000 damage or less.
