I'd rather bug Strength about it, but the Twins would want to ask their sister first and that wouldn't win, so...

Brave Heart, in her own sad way, seems to like Pris. Having them to hand promoting the other girls and offering positive views on them should help minimize the time she spends trying to act like Soldier Supreme instead of like a young girl.

[X] Call Bianca right now; you need to know if what you dreamt is true.
[X] Help Brave get used to her new surroundings and introduce her to your friends

I don't like pouring 900 EXP into Moon's Super right now. There's a few things I want to pick up in levels first. Mostly Flight, since it's broadly useful to be faster.

Primordial Moon doesn't have her weapon pulling off nifty trick shots anymore, but Intercept is a majorly useful thing for her to have. Especially with her fairly high damage block threshold and large Health pool. Looks like she has a reason to enter battle after all...

[X] Plan Swift
-[X] Moon - Flight to Level 10 (390 EXP)
-[X] Sun - Flight to Level 10 (390 EXP)
-[X] World Eater - Advanced Connection (500 EXP)
-[X] Moon - Veil of the Lunar Goddess to Level 14 (130 EXP)
-[X] Moon - Moonlight Scepter to Level 10 (300 EXP)

Yeesh, Flight is expensive... Anyways, this lets us keep up with Ana's caterpillar form without distracting her by such silly means as sitting in the mouth of something good at devouring Magical Girls. Being fast helps almost everything you want to do in combat - if you're faster you can escape, if you're not faster you can't catch up if your enemy withdraws, and it takes less time to move anywhere which gives better chances of outrunning a response.

It's a little annoying that Sun got a 75% nerf on MM, which is the majority of what her weapon EXP meant, it's also an effective price increase on RSU by 600 EXP... (We already spent most of that already)

This plan holds almost 300 EXP in reserve for future leveling and/or Ability purchases. I wanted to put it into Moon's Veil, but reactive purchases are a powerful tool for main characters.

Don't forget that we can also just ride on top of the Caterpillar. Or have Moon carry Sun. Or have Sun keep whacking Moon from behind with Knockback.

Also, there's one big disadvantage to raising Flight on both. There HSC level is shared, which mean that only raising one Flight gives both of them HSC.

Giving Flight level ups is something I gave up a while ago, because nearly no one besides me wants it. Even with the advantages we would get from it.

I want at least a bit of it. One twin to level 10 for HSC 2.

Which twin is a very difficult question though.

Right now I think raising other stuff is higher priority though.

Then one twin is too slow and will fall behind if we need to move and riding on top of Ana´s Caterpillar cant be used everytime, at least there is a chance it wouldnt be possible and then we already need to carry Ana.
That will still limit us then. You shouldnt forget that.

EDIT: Dont forget Flight is our movement-speed in the air and we need to fly more often in the past few times. If we need to fly in a narrow area we are far too slow.

This is a bit of "winning the last war" mentality, but I think faster Flight would have been really helpful last mission and expect being able to move quickly would give broad improvements to everything Sun and Moon do. I'm ever foregoing level targets I want in favor of picking up more Flight while Pris has a moment to practice with it.

And if you were going to make one twin slower which one would you pick? Does Moon need to be faster so she can drag Sun around and pull off heart-stopping Intercepts? Or should Sun zip around so she can hit harder or dodge more effectively while in the thick of it?

Bianca should be able to spin this loss of the UES to her favor.
After all she already did advocate to not hunt them down. To leave them alone, etcetc.

And now someone got overzealous and ordered this pursuit.
And Bianca can point at it and use it to discredit that person, if it's advantageous for her.

And the next time someone suggests that, she can also point at it and say "this is how that'll end".

Add a few more remarks about how the soldiers only lived due to the mercy of the MGs for good measure.:V

This is why I said it's a very difficult question.

The other thing that makes it tricky is that non-boosted Flight is much harder to judge how levels affect acceleration, and most of the soft mechanics benefits of high Flight are due to high acceleration rather than high max speed. It probably needs to be really high to really zip around the room without Boosted. I highly doubt that 10 is enough for that.

If grabbing one of the super abilities right now though (which is not something I'm sure about), I'd say ONLY buy that right now and save the rest of the EXP for next update after we know what it actually does.

I am against advancing the connection this update, because talking to Bianca seems to be winning and I do not want to just throw Ana into this, but actually talk to her about it.

The problem with what we can level, is that we're consistently fighting against elites these days. Paladin, Heart, White Glory's Contractors...

We cannot afford to skip out on excellent defenses, @kelllogo. These are the enemies flight and secondary weapon damage are of limited utility against.

It shouldnt give her that level of the connection already, dont forget that this is only the second level of the Connection for Ana.

I disagree. Speedy Flight, in and of itself, is an excellent defense. As well as a multiplier to the effectiveness of almost everything else you can do.

If our enemy roster has nothing but flight-countering jerks from here on out blame the QM :V, I would.

One. We know the effects, and so do the twins. Nobody is preventing them from asking Ana to wait on making a hasty decision.

Two. The twins only know Bianca is a Magical Girl, not who she is in particular.

Three. If you are all so worried, vote as I did and go talk to Ana NOW rather than LATER, and stop complaining about "premature" purchase of Advanced Connection. It is running off to Bianca right this very moment that is more premature, IMO.

I don't preemptively vote when I'm still trying to decide what to do, because that's how bad bandwagons form.

I discuss things and then afterwards vote.

I ask this though. What benefits do we really get from upgrading Ana's Connection tier? Better communication, sure, but what are we actually going to do with that?

What we get is that we wont accidently hurt Ana with our thoughts more than needed. Besides that it will help our teamplay.

What teamplay? We just chose not to bring her on a mission.

I WANT Ana to be able to come on our missions, but I think there's more useful things to put EXP in for her to do that. Where else to put EXP for her depends on if we want her fighting in human form or caterpillar form.

That would be the next step then. And teamplay in form of ....... you know a bit about pain from Naruto, shared sight is something that is really strong (we should really use that to our advantage somehow).
Together with our Baleful Eclipse and so on ..... oh god the possibilitys.

Right now we're hurting Ana just by our existence. Not deliberately, but there's been far too many cases of the twins thinking a bit too strongly at her in the heat of events, or otherwise upsetting her.

It would be completely in character for them to want to fix that. And that, in the end, is what's steering my vote:

My worry is that adding even more info going from us to her (sights and sounds) will just make it worse for her.

I think she needs more time to get used to it before we upgrade. Possibly involving her learning how to tune out the sensations or us taking some time IC to consider that our thoughts probably feel a lot stronger to her than her thoughts feel to us, due to Pris being the fusion of two minds working in perfect sync.

I wonder where you get this idea from.

Pris hurt Ana by doing something Ana's Connection-level was not sufficient for. Ana has no problem working through anything on her level, but trying to go into Complete Connection-tier mental conversation is obviously bad for her.

Besides, Pris learned the lesson; she will not hurt Ana again except if one of your votes explicitely states to do something that would.

Ultimately, Ana's offensive stats are good enough already to join in. The biggest concern however was her survivability - and short of investing 1390 EXP to purchase Shedding Skin super ability for her, Moon's upgrades are the way to go.

Let's face the facts - she has the singular deadliest spell in our arsenal, and a potent Scale-to-Target spell for softening enemies up, AND a good main attack.

Problem was that this was a capture mission, and our chosen party members were simply more useful.

With levelled Baleful Eclipse, this is no longer a significant concern.
