What about a wandering fire spirit? That way we can find the other nearby spirits real quick as well as find out what sort of playing field we are in.
Fire isn't really my thing, tbh.

[X] Plan Proto-DragonBeing a large lizard next to what is (probably) a volcano should be a pretty good start towards something super cool. I also never see people really embrace the animal spirits, so I wanted to give that a shot.
So I'm back. I promised a better plan, and here it is!
[X] Proper Reptile
-[X] Large
-[X] Reptilian
-[X] Herbivorous
-[X] Destruction Sphere: Warrior 3
-[X] Peerage Sphere: Majestic 2, Clever 1
But Omegahugger, isn't that basically just the Proto-Dragon build all over again?
No, because there is one vital difference. When it comes to large, herbivore reptiles located on volcanic islands around the equator, there is precisely one animal you are thinking of!
Just look at that majestic animal! Look at how his head stands tall, surveying all the lands under his dominion! Truly there is no being on this spirit-bound world more worthy of godhood than this.
But in case just showing you a picture of a turtle isn't enough to convince you, here are some other things we could do with it.
Imagine for a second that our SpiritTurtle picks up a Fire Aspect at some point (and let's face it, we are SV next to a volcano. Chances are we'll get fire eventually even if we play as a Tree or Water Spirit). You know what kind of beautiful monster we could create by breeding that Aspect into the native turtle population?
That's right, an honest-to-Harzivan Pokémon! Who wants to live in Australia when we can instead turn the island into freaking Hoenn! And if flames aren't your style, it would be easy to go down a difference route and instead make Squirtles or Torterra! Again, this is clearly an obviously superior route.
And if you want to be a dragon in particular, there are ways to do that with a turtle. Dragon Turtles are a well-known thing, with the Tarrasque being a famous example of this.
(and just to aim for @Pandemonious Ivy in particular I will remind him that Pyramid Turtle is still a thing that exists)
But Omegahugger, I don't want to make Monsters, I want to improve the human race instead! Surely being a turtle is not going to help in that regard!
Oh really? You really can't think of any powerful humanoid Turtle that has showed uo in your japanese videogames lately? Not a single one?
Yeah, I bet you thought I was going to show you a Kappa, weren't you? Sorry, that's low-level turtle debating, and I ain't about to do that when there is a firebreathing turtle king walking around pop culture.
But of course, so far this has been a rather blatant attempt to court the proto-dragon crowd. So what can Plan Proper Reptile offer you if you don't want a destructive monster?
Well, for starters turtles are the only terrestial animal that mythologically speaking has been mistaken for Genius Loci, so if that's what you wanna be that's a route we could go down.
Furthermore, turtles are also well-known for their protective aspects, the most well known example of which is of course Xuan Wu, the guardian of the North. And for some reason that continues to elude me, turtles are also often considered to be fertility symbols as well, so if we want we can go about boosting that as well.
As for skills, I went with Warrior 3 because a turtle is supposed to be invulnerable in melee, Majestic 2 because goshdarnit turtle are Majestc and Clever 1 because the role of turtles as wise is well-documented (also because I have yet to see a turtle that could act worth damn).
However, I am not really sold on these skills, and am willing to sell out if the voters desire something else.
You are my spirit animal. Fuck yeah, turtles. So I'm back. I promised a better plan, and here it is!

Hey, join team Death Mountain. We've got those Spheres, and have the votes to actually win.[X] Very Young
[X] Plan Verdant Heart
-[X] Life
-[X] Creation Sphere: Craftsman (1), Toiler (2)
-[X] Secrets Sphere: Ritual (2), Mysticism (1)
I'd be fine with the Turtle plan, I like the idea of being a turtle even, but I don't like the spheres and skills you chose. I'd be super behind a turtle with secrets and creation for spheres though.
