I think I know what happened to the tiger.
Then another player entered the scene as a grey skinned woman faded into being in the middle of the Abomination Landing Zone, and attacked one of the remaining rituals with an incredible number and variety of attacks, ranging from the most flashy of pyromancy to the most subtle of fateweaving.
Marcee rode it into battle.

Cool.

I'll do the same thing with Mittens, he's a dangerous, and sapient xeno after all.:V
I'm okay with this.

I am pretty sure you don't want to go down that route. It will end up with either the removal of omake rewards or someone writing a beautiful 20k words omake about Rotbart falling to Chaos. Weaponisation of Omakes is a MAD situation. The only winning move is not to play.
Except they've already been unleashed. Once MAD has been broken you have to launch your own weapons. Even if you don't necessarily want to. It's part of why a lot of nuclear weapons platforms were designed so that there were multiple independent control stations which could fire instead of one big control room for all of them. One control crew might decide they wouldn't fire back even after nukes were fired at them.

The whole principle of MAD was that both sides had to know that if they launched the other would. It had to not be a bluff. Because if it was a bluff someone might call it.

[X] Thin their numbers

I wanted the Fire Kauiju of death killing the Abomination forces. :(

Well at least these is a blow to the Abomination, a miner blow but never less screw that guy for messing with my turf.

True, true, they are one of only two species in the Galaxy to have ever birthed one of the Ruinous Powers and they did it orders of magnitude faster than the Eldar, human excellency at work. :V
Hey, if you're going to do something, you better do it right. Besides, the whole Abomination thing happened only because Ruinous Powers couldn't allow such mighty guy as the Emperor to exist and so tripped him up and then actively shitted everything up afterwards. I bet Eldar didn't have to deal with it.

[X] Thin their numbers
-[X] Dis: Harass them- You will be able to cause major damage at a incredible exchange rate if you have your faster units hunt the fleeing enemy down, though if they regroup your harassers could suffer.
-[X] The Lonely Citadel: Harass them- You will be able to cause major damage at a incredible exchange rate if you have your faster units hunt the fleeing enemy down, though if they regroup your harassers could suffer.
-[X] Bombard it- If you have available ships bombard the shattered remains of the siege camp you will be able to inflict major damage over time, and prevent them shoring up their defences.
-[X] Void: Pursuit- Chase them to the edge of the system, losing some more of your lighter ships in exchange for destroying many of the enemy ships so that you can be sure that you will not encounter them in the future.

I guess I could try to make an Omake where the Quartok are planning to betray us, finally get rid of them.
I'm sure under that logic it is possible to reciprocrate by writing an omake where Rotbart falls to Chaos, with all the attendent consequences. Or- wait! Maybe we can improve Saint Lin's odds of dying to the wildlife.

Oh god please no.

Please nooooo nobody.

This omakes are supposed to be fun. Not done for rewards...so pleaseeee.

Honestly, I hesitate to put scales to this, but the Quartok betraying us would probably be about as bad as Dis ceasing to exist, along with 10 Billion or so Avernites. Plus the governmental chaos involved in Dis' nonexistence.

I feel this needs to be said.

It is so horribly bad I'd rather we get hit by another Daemonic Incursion and roll the dice for all our heroes' survival.

Again.

So, I actually can see a reason to expend some deathstrikes for a thermonuclear battle tiger: proof of concept.

We don't actually know how effective the tactic is. This is a chance of us to test it in a semi controlled environment.

The issue is that due to the Warp's narrative effects, doing the thermonuclear battle tiger is likely to be less effective each time we use it.

So are we planning to nab the souls of the chaos cultists left behind? Seems like we are never going to get a chance to nab a large number of corrupted souls to buy the best runes with.

We can try, but as was pointed out and confirmed by Durin the price of them is likely going to go up for a bit.

Supply and demand after all.

Still I suspect we're going to get quite a few runes out of this which would be fun good.

Most of that was humanity itself, not the Emperor who was comatose through most of it. If humanity needed Big E to get anything done (and not make a Chaos God), well that does not say much about it.

Because Valinor Cultists are somehow different from home-grown ones? I don't get the reasoning.
Not really.

I think his logic is that the optics look like we're diving into selling the souls of humans head first and prioritising that over ensuring the lives of our soldiers.

Personally I say kill the lot, we're going to get a rise in cultists anyway and to be crase the "value" of a Valinor soldier is really low.
