Dis internal battles
192:1 kill ratio, that's what I'm talking about!
152:1
350:1, damn!
209:1
Lonely Citadel first phase
Only 15:1, kind of sad compared to the other one.
12:1, which is pretty awful I think for how heavy this force was. Barely killing more than the ratio they were outnumbered by.
Dis Siege Camp
Artillery bombardment of the Dis Siege camp was only about 60% as effective as we were expecting. Killing only ~13.5% when we were expecting ~22.2% for two days bombardment.
Only killed 108 million with this.
Only a 10:1 ratio, and that despite the benefits of the berserk gas roll modifier and having lowered their numbers before charging while using the same force composition as used at Lonely Citadel and against about the same force as they did before the Dis bombardment killed 270 million.
12:1
Lonely Citadel second phase
197 million, significantly better
22:1 pretty good compared to other field battles.
10:1, then swung wildly back down
Ritual Disruption
I think this alone might have been more than all the other kills this turn.
Really disappointed we didn't get to have the thermonuclear kaiju tiger. This was pretty much the most anticlimatic time for Marcelee to have interfered. She just swooped in and stole the glorious kill shot after we had done all the work and spent all the lives. It seems like the only reason she showed up was to make it so that Xavier and Mittens wouldn't get a really cool trait out of this.
I agree with you completely.
Eh being the governor of the most deadly deathworld in the galaxy is not really a positive except for being a planetary governor at all. His daughter is pretty much unimpressive by the standards of other hero units. We'd be better off making one of the other heroes heir before we die really. His wife died pretty much immediately on the timescale of this quest, and it caused him to never remarry, so that's more tragic than anything special. Though really she was highly promiscuous, so I would expect she cheated, just was been good enough at hiding it that it didn't come out before she died. Being close friends with a Living Saint isn't particularly special for a planetary governor. If you're planetary governor and there's a Living Saint in the subsector you're going to make sure you're friends. The admech even existing is more a downside, if we had Muspelheim or Svartlheim's setup we'd be further along.
The black colored war gear and being a planetary governor in the first place are really the main advantages there. Planetary governor is a gimme because we're playing an empire quest. You have to be in charge of something for it to be an empire quest.
So the biggest thing is the super special equipment. But that's not particularly significant by itself considering we hardly ever use it ourselves.
@Durin 1. I thought all the soldiers in Dis were supposed to be elites so shouldn't they all have died?
2. What sort of ratio on purchases made with the current glut can we expect from the sirens?
