[X] PI is anti-piracy. It was formed in the aftermath of the attack on Mindoir. PI wants better defenses and for pirates to die.

We want to emphasize that PI is building a better future, and set out information to set the record straight on the Arc Reactor. And also point out that PI isn't pro-militarism as much as anti-piracy and anti-slavers and wants to provide the tools to make the galaxy a safer place.
What will you do?

[X] 647 Fire Control and Point Defense VIs 64.7 million credits now, 4 million credits service and care per quarter. Delivered this quarter.
[ ] Five sets of four 40TW arc-reactors and cabling. 2.5 billion profit per set, 10,000 production per set. Delivered the sooner the better, each set can be delivered individually (Earliest looks like 2174-Q1)
[ ] 2000 Units of Arcane Blur Plating. 750 million profit, 2000 production. Not as much of a rush.
Don't really know about this except the fire control and point defense VI is a no brainer.

[X] Initiate full server isolation (as in no power, all connections are to be physically cut if need be, do not leave a single route of attack against the database) for research servers. Security is essential in keeping online, but no need to give potential attack route to PI research database. Send security teams to sweep the facility for potential infiltrators.
[X] Security teams are to move to critical locations. (Security sector, armories, research databases, etc)
As a physical attack is highly likely, Revy should suit up, hopefully the existing cyber defenses can hold while she's doing so. After which Revy can plug into the network and fight the hacking attack. Isolate and shut down the research sections of the servers. They aren't needed in an fight and the less Revy has to defend the better. Non-combat personnel get evacced to shelters if possible. We don't want valuable research teams getting shot at or kidnapped.

Hmm. At @aceraptor, I was going to first comment on your security plan, saying that it would get too bloated with micromanagement. But if it stays at this size, it looks pretty good, if a bit paranoid. Still, considering that the hacking attempt is looking quite sophisticated as our defenses can't identify the method used to access our systems, I'd say its warranted.
EDIT: Though we might not want to cut out research servers out immediately, as that would tip them off that we are aware of them. Might want to delay that until we have had time to prepare for the assault or it looks like they are going to get that access if we don't cut out the access straight away. Also, allowing them to continue their hack might allow us to hack them back.

I dunno, it's pretty risky. Hacking can go from unable to access to full access pretty quick if the hackers find the chink in the armor. Its a matter of if we are willing to risk at least a part of the database falling into hostile hands for the chance of hacking them back.That was what I was saying.

That too. I side with the more conservative option of immediately cutting access. But the wait and hack back while being prepared to cut the server off option is valid as well.
Honestly, if we're not totally retarded and didn't hire a five year old for our IT networking our Research databases/Security Network won't be on a externally assessable network.

Pirate are generally consider beyond legal protection. Just make sure they're... well pirates.
Uhh... no? There should be no external network access for both the research and security servers. Implying a physical presence, though they may have been and left. Though if you run external labs you'll want away to transmit research data to and from them. So IIRC just this quarter a system was setup with secure one time pads.

When we have time, sure, but for now we should mount four of them on our hardpoints and use our drones for attacking from now on.

I'm actually thinking that this might not be the best idea. I say it would be better for us to concentrate our RP on those truly revolutionary techs, and even maybe encourage others to come up with new inventions that use our inventions. Besides, adding 150% more power to the shields and allowing bubble/whatever shape -shields for two slots is pretty damn good already. I could see at least two-person teams with those shields switch covering each other with them, thus allowing the other recharge. And with that kind of even more ridiciluos shield capacity, that would allow them to take insane sustained punishment for near indefinitely.
On other matters, raise your hands if you only now realized that we are likely going to be hiring a salarian in addition of already having a krogan employee. Um. Interesting times?
I'd like to step out of the lab eventually. Gonna need Suit 3.0 and a PI dreadnought before I vote for it but yeah.

I know I argued strongly that money is/will be infinite, but 46 trillion(the lowball) is beyond us leaving the lab before we're 30. A normal ship or the mining empire will have to be first.
Besides I'd rather us use that to buy our system and set up shop there.

I know. Besides, with the space efficiencies that we can get from already existing tech I think we'll have no problem putting a full lab stack inside a dreadnought, no flying city required.
