How much do you trust in the purity of your own soul?

The spirit bomb doesn't explode, it touches things and they disintegrate. If Vector is outside its radius (which she can totally do by using IT) and uses a Death Ball (which disintegrates) instead of a Supernova (which as awesome as it is, unfortunately explodes), I don't see what the problem is.

What if Vector moved out of the engagement range and then added a Supernova or Death Ball to the Spirit Bomb?

...Regardless of what you say, I'm probably going to IT to the Time Gate, but J'm just curious what would happen.

The attack would be too slow and would arrive only after the Spirit Bomb had done whatever it was going to do (because, as I explain below, they actually do explode, so "out of range" is quite some distance).

@PoptartProdigy

Do you think Cynthia qualifies for an incipient Goku style?

Oh, most certainly now that I think of it.

The one on Namek actually did explode. Freeza lived, but that bomb blew an eighth of a hemisphere out of the planet. BIG boom.

I will assume that she prioritizes the weakest, because she does not have time for all of them.

She prioritizes the least pure, and thus the least likely to take the blast unscathed. Mato is the least pure by far, so he goes first. Bonny next, since she was created as a magical superweapon. Then Cynthia, due to...recent events. The Verdes won't want to go back to the Time Nest for obvious reasons, so she'll assume that they have their own methods of extraction. The Elites are not only heroic alternates and thus likely pure of heart, but they're also probably powerful enough to take the blast without injury anyway. She knows Trunks is pure-hearted, so he's out. Among her own squad, Bassoon is the lowest priority since he's the most well-adjusted of the team, if a little too grumpy for her liking.

Is my reasoning sound?

Well, Mato IT'd out before Richard even threw the damn thing, but the others are all present. Posting!

Bassoon is grumpy because y'all are just whipper-snappers and someone's gotta keep you on your toes.
(I try to keep his grumping reigned in, because it's meant mostly for fun.)

Part of the reason why I want to do least some scenes of Bonny teaching him magic. Just so the wise yet grumpy old man is being lectured by the Genki dabbler who needs multiform to stay partially focused on one idea, rather than declaring war on rational thinking with random tangents

Longer than some quest updates, the post I just wrote. And that's not even the biggest twist. Somebody -- anybody -- have the honor of being the first to react, and then I post what's coming next.

Let's hope this works...

I was planning on experimenting with this idea during the time between this arc and next arc anyways...
