Sounds reasonable. I can always wait.
I'm around but my ability to immediately respond will be erratic, and then I'll probably not be posting much for a couple hours. But if you Do A Thing I can maybe respond.
...true.Well, Vector still has to react to the mysterious presences. As well as do something that could potentially end the beam struggle in her favor.
@PoptartProdigy
just do the thing
I mean, I wanna, but there's that other, littler thing you wanted to happen. And then the somewhat larger thing. And then the big thing. Are you proposing we discard all of our lesser things in service to the great big thing? HOW DARE YOU, SIR?!
But seriously, ought I, and simply defer the littler things for next ARC? Declare content oversaturation and bring it to a close after I get Genon's last contribution to the fight?

Ah.Oh
you missed which thing I was talking about
whoops
let me rephrase that
is it at full charge yet?
I think I'll wait for Genon to throw up a post, honestly. I don't want to derail what I was setting up for them. It'll only be a few minutes, going by the time they told us last.
I mean, the ship is starting to say things like, "Critical power junction overload," and, "Emergency reactor shutdown," but in terms of its capabilities and your piloting skill, you can set that shot up, yes.It's 3:15 now, class ends in 15 minutes, and I have to get home and post on top of that.
I could post in the college cafeteria or something though if Nate's really that impatient.
In any case, I plan on having Vector escape the beam struggle by manuvering her ship around the king's blast, letting it shoot past her while her own beam aims for the King's side. Is that possible? Keep in mind that her ship is shielded too.

By the way, I have another question.
Dragon Ball Super claims that Goku couldn't use Kaio-Ken with any form other than Super Saiyan Blue because it would be too intense on the body and use up too much energy.
But Goku knew the Kaio-Ken even as a Full-Power Super Saiyan, a form which is basically SSJ, but with no emotional effects and extremely low ki consumption. In effect, it's Super Saiyan's power increase, but without any of the downsides of that form. [EDIT]So logically, there should be no problems with using Kaio-Ken with an emotionally-mastered Super Saiyan state if FPSSJ Goku is functionally just regular Goku with an increased power level and spiky blonde hair.[/EDIT]
I'm not quite sure how BOD handles the Kaio-Ken/FPSSJ thing, but I have to ask, could Vector use Kaio-Ken successfully with her own HPSSJ?
- Wreck your own body using it
- Catastrophic meltdown of the ships systems
I mean, per canon BOD they really don't address it. It's said to be a bad idea, but not much else. I hold that if you have FPSSJ -- true FPSSJ that is, having trained it all the way up to the absolute max, thereby representing absolute mental and physical control of the energies involved -- you should be able to use limited multipliers of the Kaio-Ken.
However, Vector hasn't fully mastered FPSSJ. She can control her emotions, sure, but the energy is still unfocused for her. For her, the Kaio-Ken would have about the same results as when Jaffur used it against Berra in AtE. And, as Nathaniel said about, your ship is already seconds away from a reactor shutdown.
Im willing for upgrades to be made after this ARCAlright, just wanted to get an official answer.
On another note, I've noticed something rather frustrating: Due to the way the power-up scale works, if Vector was to get out of her ship and go ASSJ, the drop-off in the suit's multiplier at the 500 million mark would be enough that she would actually be less powerful as an Ascended Super Saiyan than in her basic Super Saiyan form!
Granted, this is because she started off the game is the absolute weakest fighter in the entire Time Patrol in terms of base power, but still, throw me a bone, man. Maybe we can readjust the scale so that the fall-off is less severe?
Also, while this could be rectified by yet another year in the Room of Spirit and Time, I'm worried that spending so much time training like this would have a serious impact on Vector's mental state. She'll have spent three years training, with only a week of reprieve between each binge, then get tossed into the suck on a serious mission, only to repeat the cycle again!
