On another note, I'm not allowing any SupCom stuff (though 40k tech versions may make an appearance) unless we go there. But we're got going there cause it's not on the list of things I'm intimately familiar with unfortunately.
It's an enormous artillery installation. It has a shockingly high rate of fire, hilarious range, and is massively overkill. They may already exist by another name, I'm not super familiar with Warhammer. The only problem is justifying the building of a cannon that large when orbital artillery is a thing.

well...There are some defensive turrets (that big one with the giant laser cannon you can buy from GW, and the Primus redoubt from FW come to mind right now), and the Warmonger variety of the imperator is capable of flattening continents. defense lasers are pretty powerful as well, but are anti orbit.
Honestly I'd just want to take the targetting OS from the Mavor and make it work for our ships, accurate fire from our vessels in orbit would be a god send considering that 40k has terrible understanding of accurate orbit to ground fire.

Nope, didn't have an interview with them yet. Hopefully I get that interview soon though!
As for the Mavor, it sounds interesting, but again. I'm wary of implementing it or an expy of it. Making it from scratch would be fine, as long as you guys go through the research process to do so.
"Yes milord. Fabricator Zeruel reports that the Mass-Attractor arrays are already in operation and are actually towing two of the largest planetoids this side of the system. The Emperor's Pathfinder has also activated its Mass-Attractor arrays and is using it to tow the Bucephalus. It is much more efficient on average than towing it using hard points."
"Very good. Make sure to send one of the Universe-classes to tow the ship that was stranded, and then transition when ready."
"Aye sir."
A hole is ripped open in real space, and the fleet moves through into the swirling tides of the Immaterium. The month of travel that the scout took should be cut down to two weeks now that the navigators have an idea of where to go, and so the journey is commenced.
As the massive starships leave the system through wormholes into the Immaterium, a small, sleek ship colored of gleaming gold becomes visible on the edge of the system as you release your hold on the Void hiding you from prying eyes. Even though you were not able to get in closer you did get to see some of their technology on display and while most of what you saw was standard for a starfaring species, a few things worried you. The amount of firepower from just one of their ships is terrifying, and it came from a middling one not even their largest and most menacing. It was engaged in a fight near a planetoid, which apparently housed something as evidenced by the shroud of psionic darkness that engulfed the system briefly, and ripped apart the ball of rock using a single torpedo. Your instruments read the torpedo's detonation yield as being in the low petaton range, comparable to a full salvos by five carriers' interceptor squadrons. A shudder runs down your spine.
The three largest of these ships are comparable to a Zerg Leviathan, rare as those are, and their mobile space station is even larger. This troubles you greatly. If the firepower from one of their smaller ships can scour a continent, then you fear what the larger ones can do. Granted the ship that fired is three or four times the size of a carrier, but for none of the fleet to be much smaller than a carrier is mind-boggling. Interestingly enough, one of the three largest ships is badly damaged, no more than just a shell really, with damage that looks relatively fresh: denoting a recent battle. Anything that can do that sort of damage to a ship of that size must be found and contained. The Protoss may need to start awakening ancient weapons.
1d10 = 4 Minor Failure
Your shoulders sag with weight as yet another trouble is piled upon your mind and you are reminded that you were originally contemplating a self-imposed exile after you left Shakuras. Since the encounter on the Dark Moon, you were soul sick; tired of the darkness of the universe, and despairing over the grief you felt for killing Raszagal. You merely wanted to live out the rest of your natural life in peace. However, new thoughts have been pressing onto your mind as of late, especially with the new threats the galaxy is facing and with unknown entities pressing in on all sides, and you felt the stirrings of an ember within you from a fire you had thought long gone. Though the weight upon your soul is not yet lifted, you know what you must do.
A rest was in order so that you may reclaim the passion and will to move onwards. You send your message to Artanis, detailing this fleet and their most likely destinations, and attached you add a note.
The will to act has been stripped from me and I must reclaim it, so I am venturing into parts unknown. I am seeking kindling for the embers of my extinguished will and I will endeavor to be back as soon as I am able.
My apologies for failing our people yet again...
Zeratul
You are Captain Octia Casus and word has just been received that the Lord Exodus has dispatched a ship to tow yours to the fleet's new destination. Apparently a garden world has been found, orbiting a gas giant, and the Emperor himself decreed the moon to become the first world colonized by the Imperium in this realm.
Thank the fucking Emperor, as you always say. From the explosion with the Warp Drive, to being stuck out here in the middle of nowhere, it's about damn time some good news filtered on down. Though at least that's what you wanted to say. No, you are just grateful to be alive on this crazy journey as well as alive after a Warp Drive failure seeing as those tend to consume entire ships.
Just gotta wait a week for the pickup and then another 2 till you get to the new system.
Praise be to the Emper- err the Divine Sovereigns.
...Damn, it's hard to get used to that.
You are Captain San Innuk and you have finally arrived at your appointed system. Though you had gotten lost last month, you are now back on track and have finally made the transition to real space at the edge of the system.
According to your scans, there are 5 planets in the system wi- holy shit what is that?
"C-captain? We're detecting t-two massive biological signatures orbiting the third planet. I-it's a-approximately 2/3s the size of the Phalanx. Sir."
"What?! Are they Tyranids?"
The bridge officer lets out a shaky breath and responds, "We don't know sir. We're too far out to confirm either way, but there is no Shadow in the War-err"
He pauses and touches his ear's vox-implant, "Sir, the Navigator is reporting a Shadow, but it's not nearly as strong as one produced by a full Hive Fleet. He says the Shadow is the equivalent of a small Splinter Fleet's."
You breathe deeply and then sigh. You really didn't want to do this, but it looks like you have no choice. You quickly write a message to send back to the Lord Exodus and hand it off to your first mate.
"Have the Astropaths send this message back to high command."
You look up and the rest of the bridge's crew, looking upon them for a moment, before rising to your feet.
What do you do?
[] Do a thorough investigation of the outer system before moving inwards towards the bio-signature. Though the danger to crew and the ship is extreme, especially if the bio-signature is anything like the Tyranids, the Exodus needs knowledge of any and all threats in this new universe and you cannot shirk your duty and not investigate this anomaly. Whatever foul xenos infesting this system must be reported back to Lord Corax.
[] Do a thorough investigation of the outer system before retreating to the coordinate of the new system high command sent you. The danger posed by closing in on this leviathan is an unacceptable risk that you cannot take. Though the Exodus needs as much knowledge of this universe's threats as soon as possible, the loss of even this one ship is far too much. We have few military assets, no ship yards, and not even a single planet yet. However, the xenos are far enough away that you can try to glean as much about this system as possible while staying out of range of attack. This will however, warn the xenos to your existence but will give you a better idea of how to launch an offensive or to create a base of operations the next time a fleet or scouts are sent.

There is a familiar jolt as the Ark make the transition to real-space. And immediately your dataslate starts updating. Status reports from the fleet start pouring in, but you are looking for one in particular.

Lord Corax,
We have performed a preliminary scan of the system and have the results for you. We highly recommend for the Exodus to exploit this system for numerous reasons aside from the garden moon orbiting the 5th planet.
The first planet in the system is no more than a hot ball of rock. Rather useless unless we want to create solar collectors in orbit.
The second planet is a world made almost completely out of useful metals and rare earth. However, the world has nearly no atmosphere, extremes of temperatures reaching higher than 700 absolute degrees during the day and lower than 100 absolute degrees at night, making for a very difficult colonization proposition even for the Mechanicus.
The third planet is a dead world that could have supported life in the distant past. There is also a strange structure on the planet, likely of xeno origin. Investigations must be made.
The fourth world is made up primarily of poisonous/toxic liquids in great oceans that surround the few islands that we can see. Colonizations prospects are low, with the chemicals that this world is comprised of are able to kill a man in a single breath and the toxic liquids being able to corrode most of our materials aside from rockcrete (which may be insufficient defense against the chemicals in the atmosphere). However, it is interesting in that there are staggering deposits of the strange minerals we found in the emergence system.
The fifth planet is a gas giant with rings made of useful metals. Our lovely Garden Moon orbits this planet.
The sixth planet is a gas giant that is aesthetically pleasing but is made up of completely inert noble gases. While the gases can be used for fusion, there are more readily available sources of atomic fuel within the system. There are also many moons orbiting the gas giant, though it seems that they are all made of plain rocks.
Between the sixth and seventh planets is an asteroid belt filled with useful materials as well as the minerals.
The seventh planet is an ice planet with many promethium deposits close to the surface.
The eighth and last planet is another ice planet that has some promethium deposits, but located far beneath the surface. It will require much effort to access the fuel, and it may not even be worth it considering the seventh planet has such a readily available source.

Now that you have arrived and have the reports on the planets in system, you should probably decide on a name for the Imperium's new home and then announce it to the general crew. This is sure to boost morale, at least a bit.
(Crew morale +1)
Name the system! (And the planets if you want. If not they will be called "System Name" 1-8)
[] System Name
-[] Planet 1's name
-[] Planet 2's name
-[] etc...
That being done, maybe you should name the emergence system as well... (If none is chosen, it will be named Emergence and then renamed Jubilee once contact with the Dominion is made)
[] System Name
Now that the naming and announcement has been made, you can focus your efforts on directing the colonization efforts. Your brother is a great help coordinating the ships as he is, leaving you to focus on the details of where to settle, setting up cities, and creating fortifications as the Arks produce everything you need. There are enough habitation units, hospitals, farming implements, planetary shuttles, and fortifications made for half a million people. (3 WP used)
Though there were some initial mishaps due to unexpected tectonic shifts on the moon's surface, the techpriests quickly reevaluated the settlement sites and your efficient command brought the beginnings of a city to fruition. Also of note, your body seems to be healing very nicely and is noticeably stronger and with better reflexes than it has been for quite a while, as evidenced by how you were able to catch a one ton piece of a building and before it crushed a dozen guardsmen. Though you are not yet back to full capacity, this is definitely much closer than you were before.
(Corvus Corax Body: 6 8)
(Corvus Corax Martial: 7 9)
Not only that, but the fortifications put in place are sufficient to defend a population upwards of 750,000 civilians, if only more shelters have already been built. Alas, only half a million have been awoken and subsequently placed into the new colony. Still, that is 250,000 more colonists than initial estimates suggested would be able to start settling in by the end of the month. Lastly, enough farming implements have been created that the population that has settled in can start farming food.
(Food production on colony at 2 million food per .5 population every 6 months)
Though this city is currently only a mass of prefab shelters and duracrete walls, it may one day span this moon and become the glorious capitol of the Imperium in this universe. Not bad for a 2 week job.
(World of "???" Settled: Population .5 Million/.5 Million/1 Billion+)
(Note: The population statistic reads as follows- CurrentPop/CurrentMax/PlanetaryMax)
(Note 2: It is possible to raise or lower the Planetary Max stat by choosing different world designations)
189.4 - .5 = 188.9 million humans in cryosleep
.5 million humans

You are Malcador the Hero, and this Krork spore is finally reacting to you again! You have been trying to communicate with the thing using astropathic messages for the last month, but after the first message of "Bloody Vengeance," it stopped responding altogether. But you persisted and sent astropathic communications to it every day for two weeks and it finally started to respond again. This time with an astropathic feeling of menace and bloodlust, barely restrained by a cunning and brutal intellect.
But there is something else coming across: a profound sense of loneliness. You have actually felt the Krork send out... green feelers into the ship around you as if to connect with others of its kind, but each time it comes up short and each time you feel the burning rage get stronger as the sense of loneliness intensifies.
...well that may not be such a good thing then. Especially as the spore is just about ready to hatch into the Krork. You have maybe one month at the rate it's growing before you'll need to deal with it one way or another.
At least your pool of psychic power is refilling.
(Malcador Psyker Rating: 12 10 3 7 (Alpha+, Current maximum limit is 10, drained from Krork contact))
1d75 = 66 -> + 10 (GM's bonus for forgetting it for the last turn) = 76
1d75 = 73
76 + 73 = 149/100 -> 49/200
Your name is Aurora Rosaline Bach and you are indescribably happy. Though live is moving on from the horrific moments you've experienced with Corvus, there is definitely something different about your relationship now. That happiness has translated well into your professional relationships as well, with the Webway project proceeding swiftly and far ahead of initial projections.
One of the Primeris Psykers, Agnes Oblige, has taken extremely quickly to shaping Wraithbone and in assisting you in connecting the fleet's psykers to the Empress and thus the nascent Imperial Webway. In fact, you have taken her as your primary assistant, as well as her minders of course. She has already proven her worth as not only is she a highly skilled psyker, she is extremely intelligent and has come to you with a proposal for devising a new soul-binding ritual. This ritual would bind any new Imperial Psykers to both the Emperor as well as the Empress at the same time instead of adding new (and more painful due to working on a less malleable soul than that of a child) bindings as your have been. This will thusly maintain both His protections against the predations of the Warp as well as Her connection and access to the Webway.
Speaking of the Webway, Agnes has just informs you that the first stage has finally been completed. The Imperial Webway is able to contain something approximately the size of a small city (3 Km diameter). Actually accessing the Webway however, must be done from within the Ark where you have built a prototype Webway gate when you first started the project. To access it from elsewhere, you will need to continue connecting more psykers so that the dimension continues to expand and start branching out into new paths that lead to where you want to go.
Needless to say, this will be a massive endeavor that will not come easily, but progress is still being made nonetheless.
(Gained Asset: Imperial Webway)
Much progress has been made on healing your remaining wounds this past month. With Corvus leading the fleet and no extant threats bearing down on your subjects, you and Ynnead focus on mending the remaining damage and there is already considerably less pain.
Since there is a lull in your healing efforts at the moment, you have decided to look in on what the Exodus has accomplished, and what you find astounds you. A garden world has been found and settled, the Arks have been producing everything the colony could need, and the Webway is taking shape well. Malcador has informed you that the Krork remains an issue, but you will defer to him as to what to do with it.
What does everyone do this cycle?
The Emperor (Choose 1)
[] Continue focusing on healing since the fleet is in good hands with Corvus. He should be more than enough to handle anything that comes up and you trust him to come to you should anything happen that he cannot handle. (Roll 1d100 for healing. No bonuses unless Ynnead helps)
[] Put off healing for now, your people need your help! You will heal on your own, even if considerably more slowly. (Roll 1d20 on healing. No bonuses)
-[] Which task do you help with? (You are able to help in any one of Corvus' tasks listed below except for scouting)
[] Ynnead found a massive wound in the Immaterium, similar to how the Eye of Terror wounded the materium in your original universe. You need more knowledge of this phenomena. (Roll 1d10 on healing. No bonuses)
-[] How do you go about gaining more knowledge? (Write-in)
[] You have a project you want to work on!
-[] Help Aurora with expanding the new Webway
-[] You want Ynnead to incarnate soon so begin work with the Mechanicus to create a body for her.
--[] Add hero?
-[] Start working with the Mechanicus to research Eldar physiology. You want to begin work on reviving the Eldar.
--[] Add hero?
[] Write-in?
The Empress (Choose 1)
[] Help Adam with his healing (roll an extra 1d100 and all of Ynnead's bonuses apply)
[] You have found a massive wound in the Immaterium, similar to how the Eye of Terror wounded the materium in your original universe. You need more knowledge of this phenomena.
-[] How do you go about gaining more knowledge? (Write-in)
[] You have a project you want to work on!
-[] Help Aurora with expanding the new Webway
-[] You want to incarnate soon so you begin work with the Mechanicus to create a body for you.
--[] Add hero?
-[] Start working with the Mechanicus to research Eldar physiology. You want to begin work on reviving the Eldar.

--[] Pick one trait for me to clarify.
[] Write-in?
The Lord Exodus (Choose up to 2. Note: sub-votes do not count towards the limit. Note 2: Heroes can double up on tasks, but that means that the bonuses gained from each hero is lessened.)
[] Move the fleet.
-[] Which known system?
[] Send a few scout ships out to explore the closest star systems. While there is no Astronomicon, you are able to skim the Warp and travel more slowly in order to navigate purely by the Materium. (Ships sent out to scout will not be able to come back for a month at the earliest)
-[] How many ships and how many star systems to explore? (Cannot explore more systems than ships)
-[] Add hero?
[] Now that a basic galactic starmap (only luminous stars and major blackholes) has been produced, you should probably try and fill in the blanks so you have a more accurate map of the entire galaxy.
-[] Add hero?
[] Reorganize the Imperial organizations into something more efficient that is better able to work with the much smaller population we have.
-[] Add hero?
-[] How?
[] Send ships to colonize a world.
-[] Which world?
-[] Try to colonize the asteroid field.
--[] Pick a prime planetoid to settle on. (High rate of stellar debris bombardment. Attrition rate will be extremely high unless Void Shields are setup quickly.)
--[] Pick a prime planetoid to carve out and settle. (No attrition. High chance of catastrophic failure from stellar debris bombardment disrupting the outer layer of the planetoid.)
--[] A different method?
-[] Add hero?
[] Write-in?
The First Lord (Choose 1, cannot choose any if assisting Lord Exodus)
[] Destroy the damned spore. (Can pick something else if you choose this)
[] Science the spore. (If choosing more than 1, please specify what order to do the actions in) -[x] Secure the ships for the Krork's emergence from its "egg." (Must take this if you continue to science the spore)
-[] Continue to try and communicate with it.
-[] ...grow an Ork or 2 to help with the Krork's loneliness.
-[] Try to touch the mind of the Krork to help with the lineliness.
-[] Ask Adam or Ynnead for their assistance (Prevents them from working on their own projects)
--[] How?
-[] Awaken the Culexus and bring it into the room with the Krork to see what the effects of a psychic blank are on it. -[] Bathe it in Warp fire (or actually Flames of Purgation in your case) since it grew out of that last time. (No Well to draw upon)
-[] Figure out the mechanics of the psychic drain effect.
--[] Work on finding parallels between the original sac and the cluster of Orkoid cells that produce the draining effect (Initiates research on: Orkoid psychic draining cluster- Mechanics)
--[] Try to reverse the drain (Common sense dictates that this may kill the fungus)
--[] Try to produce the drain yourself (Common sense dictates that this may not end well)
--[] Try to induce the drain in another psychic being (Common sense dictates that this may not end well)
-[] Something else?
[] Reorganize the Imperial organizations into something more efficient that is better able to work with the much smaller population we have.
-[] How?
[] Write-in?
The Great Khan (Choose 1, cannot choose any if assisting Lord Exodus)
[] Train the more experienced Marines advanced tactics, strategies, and warfare. Specifically how to deal with extremely mobile enemies such as yourself or the Dark Eldar.
[] Take those who show extreme promise with the blade as proteges and teach them how to really handle a sword. (Produces a 1d10 / 3 rounded down bonus to the Imperial Fists, Grey Knights, or Chosen Blood)
[] Train the Scout Marines of the Chosen Blood. (Chose 1)
-[] They ask for instruction in warfare
-[] They ask for instruction in leadership
-[] They ask for instruction in philosophy
-[] They ask for instruction in storytelling
-[] They ask for instruction in piloting
--[] Aerial vehicles? (Thunderhawks, Stormtalons, etc.)
--[] Ground vehicles? (The various bikes, Landspeeders, etc.)
-[] Something else?
[] Write-in?
The Saint Princeps (Choose 1)
[] Continue working on the Webway Project (Choose 1)
-[] Work on expanding the size of the Webway dimension.
-[] Work on creating paths in the Webway to different places in the Materium.
-[] Work on both. (Less effective)
[] Work on the new soul-binding ritual.
[] Meditate on the Eldar memories to see what other secrets you might unlock.
[] Assist Corvus in regaining his full strength.
[] Write-in?
The Fabricator General (Choose 1, cannot choose any if assisting Lord Exodus)
[] Overseeing the day to day running of the Mechanicus and working on whatever project he is assigned to by the Lord Exodus. (+2 bonus to all Lord Exodus actions)
[] Investigate the adamantium tree you found within the Ark.
[] Continue investigating the disappearance of the strange machine that (in all likelihood) produced the adamantium tree.
[] Finish the creation of the symposium on the proper method of dealing with the Mechanicus' new found desire to learn before a curious techpriest destroys us all, Omnissiah preserve us.
[] Research
-[] Which research project?

Work force capability is rated using work points or WP. It is an extrapolation of the entirety of the industrial capacity of the fleet, but starts off at 1 WP per million population, can be raised or lowered by various factors, and is rounded to the nearest .5. You have X amount of WP each turn to use and any that you do not use are lost.
WP can be distributed by .5 WP or by project
1 WP per million population (5.345 mil pop = 5.5 WP)
Arks Mechanicus + Fabrication machines = 1.2 multiplier Current WP:6.5
Currently using Split Focus (Capability in focus but the amount of WP available is reduced by 20% 10% for each additional focus you take due to inefficiencies in space management in multi-configurations)
Manufacturing: You are able to produce industrial and war machines for various purposes (WP can be spent per order in order to scale production to its max capacity)
Hydroponics/Aeroponics: You are able to grow your current food stock (each WP gives 1 million units of food)
Effective WP: 5.94 -> rounded up to 6
Food stock is cataloged by units and is used at a rate of 1 per person per month Current Food Stock: 31.31 million units -> - 5.345 million units + 2.5 million units = 28.465 million units
The Exodus Fleet
[] Continue producing food (2.5 WP maintenance and +2.5 million units of food)
[] Reconfigure to full food production (-2.5 WP, no longer able to manufacture, able to produce up to max WP x 1 million units of food per turn)
[] Reconfigure to full industrial production (-2.5 WP, no longer able to produce food, able to produce up to map WP worth of goods)
[] Reconfigure another way
-[] How?
[] Start producing military goods
-[] Fortifications for the colony (.5 WP to defend .5 million population)
-[] Something else?
(Ask me about what you want to make and I'll give a WP cost)
[] Produce civilian goods
-[] Colony infrastructure (2 WP to raise population cap by .5 million)
-[] Luxury goods- fleet (.5 WP per turn to raise morale by 1)
-[] Luxury goods- colony (.5 WP per turn to raise morale by 1)
-[] Hydroponics facilities (.5 WP per facility. Each facility creates .5 million food)
-[] Something else?
(Ask me about what you want to make and I'll give a WP cost)
QM's Note: Please, please, PLEASE let me know if I forgot anything in this update since it's rather huge. Specifically, if you guys have hero or fleet options you want me to add to the list, then tell me and I'll see about adding a version of what you suggest to the list.

Hm, we do need to check what the potential threat is.
And it seems Adam is SO CLOSE to being healed.
Also... I like this idea of binding souls to the Emperor and Empress, it seems like a fantastic way of doing things.
Finally.
It seems we know why the Krork is so super-pissed.
It's alone.
...I think we need Ynnead's help here, everyone.
If anyone could calm the Krork down, it's something associated with the Eldar, another of the Old Ones servants (the Old Ones might very well have put something into the workings of the Krork so they like Eldar, in order to make sure there's no civil war happening while Necrontyr are around fucking everything up).

NO, WE LEAVE THE ZERG ALONE. seriously we just got here i dont wnat to pick a fight just yet
Notsure this is a good idea i mean yeah it's a servant of the old ones .. But Ynned is not an old eldar she is a warp god of the eldar with traces of humanity. personaly i think we space it like we should have from the begaining we have more importaint things to do
If they're here they need to die.
Preferably from destroying their nesting ground.

Ynnead also has the knowledge of Eldar within her, hell she's made up of Eldar souls.
If anyone would be able to help out, it'd be her.
And frankly I'm thinking we need some divine intervention to get anything out of the damn Krork.
