Incidentally, that evacuation is still ongoing, right? But once we get this, we officially have Enough Space for everyone? So the project is officially "Done" save for the execution?
Ye. :V
The downside of the Grand Gift is that we could, in theory, lose but honestly...price worth paying. Though I will rag on our "Elite Knights" if they fuck this up
Where's that picture of that tiny guy staring at the large lady? Cause that will be your Karnivores to their Knight Wardens, Paladins, and Errants. So "rag on them" would be...unkind.
@HeroCooky how strong is our planet eater? I want to know if it could I dunno eat a moonsize ball of necrodermis
Have you ever seen a cat trying to eat something ball-shaped? That.
@HeroCooky Is making an ISC a general action? Does the discount scale with the mega-ship? It feels like a way we possibly get to all-15, if we can use both ISCs & the planet-cracker at the same time.
No. What discount? It is a flat bonus.
Thanks, can you change the below text to reflect that?
...I could have honestly sworn that I didn't make that ruling. In that case, the ruling made stands. 10 Choir for Auto-Progress required.

Actually what are the odds that our knights win this exchange? Like they are out massed by the sound of it

I mean, our Karnivores have been significantly iterated on by a regional power, while presumably the others have mostly stayed the course, because they didn't have the same level of existential crisis driving innovation?

There's definitely a mass mismatch, but skill and tech can likely close that gap.

Aww, it does seem like a sort of generally industrial/development type thing to build a new ISC. Oh well.

I mean, just stacking up bonuses. If we:
1. Do the planet cracker.
2. Get an ISC for a given development
3. Have 50 choirs boosting general actions:
Then 1 actions of development gets us 3 levels of development (cost per level is 2, reduced by the planet cracker to 1, reduced by ISC to 0.5, then boosted by dendrites so 1 action = 1.5 actions).
If we don't have the ISC it's still 3 levels per 2 actions, which isn't bad.

Once we hit the next level of penalty it goes to 2 levels of development per action with the ISC and 1 level without it.

Does this math check out?

I don't think our knights are doing the fighting.
This, in turn, may allow us to turn the world by having the local nobles declare the Right of Secession in favor of the Glimmering Federation and aid them in the upcoming Honor Duels to let them emerge victorious, with everyone's honor intact and the banner of the world raised to a new "Queendom."
It's the local knights (who have bigger frames) doing the dueling, but we're going to 'aid' them with our tech & equipment.

Whoops. @Alectai I think you need to free up 3 more choirs from the scouts so that we have 10 free for the auto-progress. Going from 42 -> 39 scouts shouldn't be a problem.

It's already in my writeup. "Divert choirs from scouts as needed to keep the auto ticker ticking"

The research song got a lot better then i expected as it went from 0.05 with 10 choirs to 0.20 with 20 choirs
Old:
[Song - 10x Choirs] - A Spark of Genius - +0.05 Research per Action Spent.
New:
A Glint of Genius - Can assign up to 20 Choirs to Research, adding +0.01 Research per Action Spent per Choir.

[X] Plan: Prepping for a Golden Age
-[X] [Free] Decommission the Circuinus-class Scout Sloop (Frees up 5 Choirs long term)
-[X] [Free] Commit 50 Choirs to the Devouring Mechadendrite (+.5 General AP per General AP spent, draw from Glint of Genius to get this and unneeded Scout Ships to acquire this without losing our auto-ticker)
-[X] [Free] Consecrate In Sacred Sand (Droma III)
-[X] [Free] Replace auto-construction with Lupus destroyers.
-[X] [General] Voxx Primus Population Crisis Preparations
--[X] Habitat Stations (1/2 to Void Industry)
-[X] [General] Economic Harmonization (Ashan Families)
-[X] [General] Military Integration and Improvement (Ashan Families) (Free General AP)

-[X] [Psykana] Conduct Four Melodies (0.8/1 - Auto Complete)
--[X] Humanity II, The Home II, Unity II, Struggle II
---[X] Auto Ticker: Logic II

[X] Plan: Prepping for a Golden Age

I'm so excited for this. Next turn we'll hopefully get to sing a song, integrate the Ashan and do the Poison Pill for the Black Ash.

-[X] [Psykana] Conduct Four Melodies (0.8/1 - Auto Complete)
--[X] Technology III, Progress III, Creativity III, Logic II
---[X] Auto Ticker: Logic III

This brings The Devouring Mechadendrite straight to level 3. (We already have Song III). The tradeoff here is that we wouldn't be upgrading any of our other Songs, though after this we'd only need Hope III to upgrade A Glint of Genius. Given how impactful and useful Mechadendrite is, I think it'll be worth pushing it specifically to level 3 ASAP even over upgrading our other Songs.

I think you should change Logic II to something else because the same thing might happen as happened with A Glint of Genius

... That's actually good for us though, because it increases the base reward by double.

This would mean we get two actions for the price of one, which would cause our economy to fly straight into space.

Aaaand skipping the melody again.
Great.

... Uh, Toboe? We're upgrading 4 Songs and 5 Melodies this turn.

Now that we know how hard Tier 2 Songs can cook, and depending on how well these things work, we might very well be able to get to the point where we can commit a melody training every turn after this.

I think they want Paths specifically, though I forget why. It was in my plan because I didn't value struggle highly but I don't have strong opinions.
